The sites are large and easy to navigate. I was able to drop my trailer off on the shoulder across from our RV. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We placed our reservations while on the road with short notice. The staff worked it out. Thank you

Friendly staff, nice peaceful location. Close to Lake for nice hiking. Easy RV setup and fun things to do despite Covid restrictions.

The kids had a field day! The bouncing balloon, tether ball, pool, volley ball & KEVIN!! It was great seeing them play in the great outdoors for a change.

We stayed for four nights. our site was just above the jump pad, which got a little noisy at times but always quieted down by evening. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bathrooms and showers were spotless. and the campground is within easy walking distance of the Santa Margarita Lake. we also enjoyed our fellow campers, getting together for a socially distanced campfire and wine tasting one night.

We had a very good stay at Santa Margarita KOT, We didn’t take any kids this trip, But it looked like they’re was plenty of stuff for kids to do , Kevin the EMU was my wife’s favorite part of the trip.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very clean and updated shower house with hot water!! Loved all the fun things for children to do. Next time bringing my granddaughters.

We enjoyed a quiet visit and appreciated our shady RV spot. The WiFi was good and although there was no cell reception we were able to use WiFi calling for some needed phone calls. It’s a very clean and dwell kept park and we enjoyed the peace and quiet.

As usual, the staff is friendly and attentive. The only con about this KOA is the powdered, silt-like RV and campsites. These conditions make it really difficult to keep the dust from taking over your RV or tent. But, the location is awesome!. It makes you feel like you’re at summer camp.

It was a very nice place the only reason for a low rating was because it was too dry and dusty needs grass and greenery.

Great place for an extended weekend of camping. Kim Ann was a great host at the front store. Only complaint was that the swimming pool was over booked with people during our reservation time.

It was pur 1st stay at the campgrounds. Nice and friendly atmosphere. We will definitely stay again.

The area is pleasant and clean. The staff is always friendly and nice. Seeing Kevin the Emu was fun along with watching the kids jump in the bounce area. The flies were something to prepare for next time we go.

No grass; dusty. Ice cold pool. Power kept going out first day we were there; it was very hot. Power grid needs to be updated. Staff was friendly but overall disappointing.

We really liked the campground. The bathrooms need to be cleaned better and more often. They weren’t.

Saw a lot of deers, turkeys and woodpeckers. A beautiful lake down street.

We got the same spot we had at our last visit. 8 years ago! Lots of shade! We had 2 of our grandsons with us so we visited Kevin several times �. We spent time at the pool. We hiked around the campground. Its really spread out! We also went to the lake. Next time we're bringing our raft! The stars were amazing! The sky is so blue! It was such a joy!

All in all a very nice campground with many options for camping. The only downsides we had were that we got a very hot campsite with not much shade, there were many bees and small flying bugs so you could not enjoy sitting outside and the bathrooms seemed like they were not often maintained they had spider webs. The staff were great and very friendly.

The people were very helpful and always nice to deal with, we had to cancel and reschedule twice due to fires and family emergencies. 3rd time we made it, so glad we didn't give up it was great. The only downside was all dirt spaces.

Our camping neighbors attempted to burn their garbage both nights of our stay. It stunk up the campground really badly, all night and even the next morning. Why does KOA management ignore that?

We were very pleased with the customer service. The campground was very clean and well cared for by the staff. There was a very large Christmas tree on the campsite near us with Christmas tree lights all the way to the top. We plugged them in for 1 evening and the kids nearby were delighted. Christmas in September! A bright sight during all the mess in California right now. Definitely a plus!!

The location Is ideal with access to a variety of activities. Our campsite was well groomed and every amenity functional. Staff were kind and professional. My only criticism is the restroom shower stalls need an update.

This campground is very clean. The RV hook-ups are accessible. There are swings, jumping spot, and swimming pool for everyone. Showers, laundry, and a convenience store with treats. Quiet hours are clearly posted. It was a most relaxing spot.

Very well kept campground, clean and quiet. BUT if you are older it is a difficult site to do much walking. Steep gravel roads around the camp sites. Nice area to let the dogs play, but it was a hike up the hill to get there. I didn't get to the lake. Another fee just to drive in, so I passed. I am just about "feed out" on camping and traveling.

Amazing Camping. A lot of to do with kids. So nice swimming pool and Zip Line area. I am recommend this a special at the week days!

5 stars for sure ! What hidden gem ! Wolf & Lisa and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly, very helpful as well as extremely knowledgeable of the area. My wife and I had a great time enjoying the camp store as well as the lake and the surrounding area. The campground was very well kept and clean we cant wait to make it back again. Thanks KOA
