The campground was as expected except the tent areas were a little smaller than expected, but my group stayed up in the Fingers area, so we rented all 4 spaces for our group of 25 guests, so we were able to manage. The facilities were clean and monitored regularly. The activities for the kids were hands down the best I have seen at previous KOA's, so that was definitely a plus.

My stay was amazing. I LOVED my campsite and the staff was incredible. Especially Vincent, he was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely be returning and telling people about KOA Santa Margarita!

We had such a wonderful family camping trip here. We stayed during the week so it wasn’t so crowded or loud. My daughter was upset that the jump pillow wasn’t working, but she still enjoyed herself.

Staff was very friendly. Store is fantastic. Activities were truly impressive. Makes us want to do another KOA again. A couple concerns though: 1) The pool water was absolutely filthy. I can't overstate how gross that was. 2) Quiet hours were not respected. There was blaring music well past 10 pm 3) The waterslide needs more supervision. My daughter was almost hit as staff wasn't controlling slide

Secluded and shaded campsites. Clean bathrooms. Lots of activities to keep the kids busy. Overall chill vibe. Loved our time.

Good place for outdoor activities. We had great time. Campground is disappointing, dusty, no shades and congested tent campsites.

My stay at santa margarita koa was the best public bathrooms and showers super clean and the foam slide and the hay ride was the best and pool is very well maintained. The staff are also great people they really make us welcome, thank you all.We cant wait to go back. Children and us adults love it. See you next year again � for our annual family reunion.

My husband and I love camping here, we come yearly. The campgrounds are clean and staff is amazingly friendly! Store is full stocked, in case anything needed. We love the swimming pool in the evenings after a long day of fishing at the Lake. Come see for yourself, you’ll become a regular yourself!!

great customer service! using the overflow parking was a life saver when we had nowhere else to go! pool is great, spots are nice and it’s very easy to navigate. there are so many birds which was nice. we had a great stay!

LOVE THIS PLACE! That's why we keep returning. Very clean and quiet. Well maintained. Especially love the wild turkeys taking flight each night and nesting in the same tree! Beautiful. Great bike-riding trails, and so close to the Lake.

It was wonderful, we got a remote spot for tent camping. It was perfect for 2 people and 2 dogs. The amenities were great too, we used the dog play area every day.

A safe and fun place for my 8year old and his two friends. Lots of activities to chose from. The place was clean and staff friendly. The 10pm quiet was well observed. Easy walk to the lake.

Camp ground was great. Wish the pool was a little bigger or there was an area for older kids. I got charged for an extra child I didn’t have. That was a bummer. Beautiful area.

My site was very quiet, even though it was Memorial Day weekend. Easy to get into. The folks running the KOA were very friendly and hospitable. The owner was onsite and made sure we were well taken care of. I will visit again soon.

We had great interactions with the staff, and minimal interactions with other campers. Enjoyed access to the store, pool, clean restrooms, etc. Lots of kids, but noise levels were reasonable. We were out cycling much of the stay.

This was my first time back in over 10 years and the improvements made have been substantial. It was my daughters first time ever going camping and she loved it! The pool was on the cold side but it was still so much fun! We’ll be back for sure especially since she’s already saying that she wants to go back! The staff were great, so friendly I can’t say enough nice things about this place!

My husband & I were on motorcycles we stayed in the motorcycle friendly spot #7 we were very happy with it The staff is very friendly KUDOS to Michele!!! ;-) Bathhouses were clean as well as the campground. store prices were very reasonable saw plenty of wildlife turkey deer peacocks many species of birds very peaceful/quite. Amazing Camping. A lot of to do with kids. So nice swimming pool and Zip Line area. I am recommend this a special at the week days!

5 stars for sure ! What hidden gem ! Wolf & Lisa and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly, very helpful as well as extremely knowledgeable of the area. My wife and I had a great time enjoying the camp store as well as the lake and the surrounding area. The campground was very well kept and clean we cant wait to make it back again. Thanks KOA
