Being a repeat customer already speaks volumes. I appreciate a clean bathroom and showers. The work crew are quite friendly and kind. After a 10 hour drive, Lake Santee is a quiet retreat to regenerize for another day of driving south.

WOW! I have it stayed at KOAs over the past week or so. This is by far the best. Amy was fantastic helping me when I had an issue in the evening. Delivering pizza and chicken wings to my campsite was a huge plus. The view of the sunset over the lake was incredible. The campsite is well-maintained. The restrooms are older but everything is freshly painted and in perfect condition.

Sites were rustic but easy to get in and out of. Very friendly staff taking me right to my site and making sure everything was good.

It was a stop over and it would be a great place in the summertime to enjoy the lake for swimming

We visited Santee/Santee Lakes KOA in April 2022. This was a clean, well organized campground with friendly staff. The first night there was a tornado warning. We decided to go to the office until it was over. Many campers were there and the staff was professional & reassuring. We also lost power for about 2 hours but thankfully it returned by 9:30 pm. Thank you!!! Would highly recommend!

Staff were very nice. Our site was fine. Overall the park needs some TLC. Buildings are clean but older. I asked about any golf specials or courses they might recommend. They looked at me like I had two heads and just said we don't get many golfers here. There were 3 great courses minutes away ??

There during tornado warnings so didn’t see much. They were friendly and accommodating. They make and deliver pizza and wings which came in handy. Beautiful view of lake.right off 95….

We stayed overnight but the campground was very clean and sites are great! The view and beach area are amazing! We ordered the pizza and wings from the campground and both were delicious!

Our camping group meets at KOA Santee every April; thoroughly enjoy our stay every time! Friendly and helpful staff. Park and facilities very well maintained and clean.

Nice campsite, nice little beach, in the showers the hot water seems to come from far away but it is always there. Clean. Firewood always very dry: Very appreciated.

We stopped for the night at Santee, we were in a very tight spot having a 38 ft. 5th wheel with 4 slides. We felt we could deal withit for one night, then we started having Electrical problems, we were on a 50 amp service and kept loosing power about once an hour . by the time it would take for some one to respond it would come back on. We left there for Cape Charles KOA and everything was fine.

It’s good for an overnight stop on our way home. I’m sure it’s very popular in the summer and weekends because of the lake and boating. The campground is bare roots. Only one bathhouse was open on April 4. I’m sure the one being renovated will be ready for the summer crowd. Seems like there should be more than 2 bath houses for that many sites.

What can one say? Love the water view at the end of the night. Staff are very nice and helpful. We have not used the facilities so can't answer. The campground is larger than most we have stayed at. There is a restaurant a walk away as well as food delivery. My wife loves to go as she says she is very relaxed here.

Fantastic place to stay. Near everything St Augustine has to offer. Too bad there isn't more sites. Definitely will be going back! Very clean bath house and restrooms. Staff are very helpful and friendly

The Wi-Fi sucked. One didn’t work at all and the other worked only at 2 am otherwise not at all. For that price I would expect more.

Horrible Site (B-08). Reserved a pull thru, wedged between trees, had to wait for campers behind us to leave in order to back out !! Very disappointed! Was even told, we could get help backing out at 8:00 am ! Really ?

Very nice campground. Would be nice to have sewer hookup instead of having to stop and dump. Also, campers are getting bigger and bigger which is making it more difficult to maneuver out of parking areas. Staff very friendly.

The lake is pretty and has a small beach and swimming area. The bathroom facilities are minimal but it is a full hookup campground. During hours of operation, you can get decent pizza at an affordable price. The sites are pretty close together. There are lots of dogs and apparently some people are thoughtless about cleaning up after them - I picked up grossness on my shoe.

Convenient access to I95. Facilities are clean and well managed. Beautiful property on a gorgeous lake. We highly recommend.

Was on the Road without reservations for the Night. The Wife called Your Campground and was handled Politely and Respectfully. The Young Lady that answered was able to help us right away. Well Kept and Maintained. Lake was a Beautiful setting for Sunset Pictures. We will most likely return for a night or two on the return trip from Florida. This time we will call ahead for Reservations.

Check-in process is easy and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Sites were level and roomy. Needed to get propane when we were leaving and had no problem. Called in and the gentleman was there waiting for us. Park is very clean and quiet. Will definitely be back.

Staff interaction was excellent. Campground had several elevation changes which I didn’t expect that made me a bit more cautious as I was towing.
