Very beautiful location!! Everyday we spent time at the dock to soak up the sun. Everyone that we meet working at the KOA went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience. Having the Lake House Restaurant in walking distance was a huge plus! Great bloody Mary’s! Bathroom and shower rooms looked and smelled clean. Would definitely come back!!

We had a great time at this KOA. Staff was helpful and friendly. Kids loved the playground and the lake views were great! Would definitely return.

Had a tent site with no one else nearby! Clean facilities and friendly staff! Pizza onsite was an added bonus!

just a short escape to a quiet peaceful lakeside haven.staff is wonderful,friendly camp ground very clean.sit by the lake,read a book-a campfire at nite wonderful place to rest and recharge

Absolutely top notch, from the social distancing/COVID procedures to the hot pizza! And the smell of the pines!!! I was only there one night but I'll be back!

Just an overnight stay but was very impressed with this KOA. Clean bathrooms/showers and nice RV sites. Also, Great Pizza and Hot Wings! Would return to location without a doubt - especially given the friendly staff.

We tent camped. Firstly the bathrooms closest to us were under construction, so we had to use the bathrooms at the main office. Second challenge FLEAS! Our whole group was feasted upon. Lastly the pool was so cold, even in full 80 degree sunshine, the kids were only able to enjoy it for short periods of time, afterwhich they themselves skimmed the pool of debris. The place nextdoor looked great.

We loved Santee Lakes KOA. We would definitely come back in the summer to fully enjoy the beach area. Only downside was I believe there were a couple of large, stray dogs that were quite intimidating that popped up late one night. The after hours gentleman did go and check it out but not sure if they found them! Not much could be done. Overall, very friendly staff and nice location

Located on a beautiful lake, it is a desirable location to enjoy the outdoors. They could use more night time lighting as it becomes pitch black. Staff is friendly.

Staff very helpful and FRIENDLY. Pizza... SUPER delicious. Price: OUCH! Very very expensive: no câble tv, no concrete pad and WIFI was not accessible.

Great park with friendly amd professional staff. Will definitely return when our travels allow. Peaceful setting on the lake, farely level site and great stock of items in store.

This campground was conveniently located adjacent to the interstate. The lakefront property had a nice view. Employees were friendly and welcoming. Our site was a little too close to the adjacent site as we could hear kids thumping around in their camper from inside our camper. The site also needed some sort of pavement or gravel. It was pure dirt and was messy after an overnight rain.

Stopped on the way south - nice spot (G2), could use an entire cleanup of campground - dry leaves and needles around campfire spot, tree limb down, hard to see where driveways were. Nice beach. Noisy obviously but ease of exit from I95 was to be expected!
