Campers next door @ several campsites were together & party until after 2am on 8/6 Fri & 8/7 Sat. On Fri, I called & complained before 1am & then again at 130am to the staff, settled down after 2am. On Sat AM, The staff assured me the party would stop at 10pm, NOPE, they party again until after 2am. There are Ants everywhere! Pleasant staff & property is looking so MUCH BETTER!! Work on quiet time

Beautiful campgroundsand Very CLEAN and quiet. The staff was very friendly and always there when you needed them We had the perfect spot halfway between the lake and the pool. Even though you are right next to 95 you couldn't hear any traffic. Great place for Family Reunion and convenient to Santee (Sleepy town) LOVE IT! and plan on staying again and bringing my friends!

The hospitality is great. All the workers are great and helpful. The water area was nice. The only complaint was the ants and bugs. Same issue last time we stayed. I have everything in totes and bags and the ants still just take over. they aren't biting ants. But highly annoying to deal with.

Great location from 95 when traveling. Easy access on and off highway. Loved the lake views. would return for another stay

There was lots to do. The pizza was on point and very convenient to not have to cook. We enjoyed our short stay and will be back for a longer one.

Great campground. Very friendly people. Very helpful. After driving all day we loved to be able to order pizza when we arrived. We will be staying again.

The campsite was very clean and the area was exceptionally quiet. There were a lot of activities to do at the KOA because of the lake. We very much enjoyed the pizza - not only was it yummy, it wasn't that expensive! I had lost a very sentimental necklace and the camp host found it! That meant a lot to me. A wonderful location and we had a great time.

Awesome place. Campground was clean and well maintained. Friendly staff and pizza company on site. Kamp K9 was well maintained with a seating area for dog owners. Right on the lake with a beach area. Would definitely stay here again.

We have come to be depend on KOAs to be reliable sites: this CG was not. Unlevel!!!! Untidy!!! Pull through site barely accommodated 40 foot Motorhome with small jeep tow. Guide, to site, chatted with neighbor rather than assist with positioning.

Limited services. Uncertain about our site-took us to several to find one that would accommodate our RV and tow vehicle, despite having noted both in the reservation.

We came in on Monday and stayed until Thursday. The campground was not crowded at all. This gave our granddaughters more space to roam and walk the dog. They played the arcade games and we ordered a very good Hunt Brothers pizza that first night. The staff was very friendly and helpful as usual.

Our go to place half way between Florida and Virginia. It has become much more desirable having cleaned up the back rows. Will return every time we head north. The lake is lovely with beautiful sunsets..

This was a great camping site. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lake had all kinds of chairs and games to play. We would love to camp here again.

We spent 2 nights here at the beginning of August. Very hot, but the trees were a welcome relief from the intense sun. We were able to walk down to the lake and sit on the beach which is an added plus. The pool was also very nice.The best part was the staff who without exception were very friendly and welcoming. Pizza was good too! We would stay here again.

Very disappointing. The only thing about this campground that was KOA was the sign. I was considering several campgrounds that were cheaper but went with KOA because of past experiences and their reputation. I chose poorly. camp was old, infested with ants and had dilapidated RV's/trailers permanently parked and in use. Not worth the money I spent. far from KOA standards or quality. Wont be back

It’s a beautiful setting with lots to do. A pool, small beach with roped off swimming area, kids’ play place, fishing pier, boat ramp, mini golf all near each other and easy to walk to. Pool water was cloudy but felt good. Loved our camping spot- roomy and level. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good location- not far from I-95 but couldn’t hear the highway noise. We would stay here again!

Spacious campsites! Lake view and landscaping done beautifully. There is even the option of ordering pizza and having it delivered to your campsite. This is very convenient for when you arrive and are setting up. The Lake house is a restaurant next door that is fantastic as well. It's within walking distance from the campgrounds. The staff is amazing. We will be back!

This campground was filthy and unorganized. Upon arrival they had 1 person shuttling you to your site, there was a long line of campers waiting. When driving around the campground there was trash strewn throughout. A lot of old, dirty seasonal campers that look like they couldnt leave if they tried. The dumpster to throw your trash in was overflowing. I would never return.

Reserved online and arrived late. Called to make sure that was ok and was told map would be outside the office. I assumed that meant there would be a map showing my assigned site. Instead it was a map showing an area I could choose from and payment envelopes. This was confusing as I had already paid. I realize I made a same day reservation but if I should have received the same hospitality.

Throughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were more than hospitable and the environment was beautiful. The only problem we had was no concrete pads, so our rugs got muddy from the rain. We will definitely be back in the fall/winter.

The campground was nice. The lake area and pool were great for the children. The campground staff was nice and quick to help. We ordered pizza it was good and free delivery to our camp site. Quite time was observed.The only negative was Sugar ants .We kept spraying for them.

The permanent people staying they is overwhelming, I stop over for two nights and you have spaces everywhere and where do you put me?? Next to a permanent stayer— no body passing through wants to be by that.

We had never travelled to this area of SC before so were intrigued when it was on our way home to NC. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and even escorted us to our site. The sites were pretty uneven and just needed some general upkeep. I would say the same for the beach area. Just somewhat overgrown with weeds and needed to be maintained. Similar comments on the putt putt.

Very nice location. We have stayed there more than once. Suggestions: Have more things in the store. Have more than one location for soap in the women's bathroom.

perfect for kayaking -- just turn left and head to the inlet about a 1/4 mile away. It leads right into the national wildlife refuge and just tons of beautiful bald cypress and birds.

Sites were very close and area was isolated. Internet very spotty, very little cell service.

Very nice campground but too expensive. The bath house had rusty sinks, lots of ants and one mens room stall out of service and another out of TP for an entire day. That said, it's a nice site very convenient to I-95.

The people-nice. The pizzas-great. The facilities were under repair it was obvious that there’s a lot of derelict items on the property. The playground in my opinion is unsafe due to the age and deterioration of the equipment. This is listed as a new KOA and should be listed as a newly acquired KOA undergoing substantial renovation. A fellow camper felt this was not up to KOA standards I concur
