Our site was not very level. Otherwise the park was nice. Located right on Santee Lake.

Santee lakes koa reminds me of campgrounds in Maine that we stay in often very wooded and peaceful

We only stay one night, out of necessity, and didn’t get to wander or experience any of the amenities besides the restroom. They do have Hunt Brothers pizza on site, they’ll even bring it to your campsite, and it was delicious. The staff was nice and the sites aren’t bad. Loved hearing all the birds and seeing the squirrels running around. We would visit again.

Very nice KOA park for all types of campers from tents to Motorhomes. Lots of trees, pool, hot tub, and lake!

This campground has become our stopping place on our trips to Florida. This time we found a nice restaurant in nearby Santee!

Went to Florida on a trip and stayed at 7 different campgrounds. Santee is far and away number 1. I've passed it many, many times over the years. Now I will always stop here! Great place that I highly recommend.

We checked in at sunset for a one night stay. The pull thru site was adequate for our length though lots of tree roots kept us unlevel. Sites are over priced at $71 a night.

The campground was awesome! The staff was great! They bent over backwards to help us with our situation. The truck transmission broke, they allowed us to stay past our scheduled date while I went out and purchased another vehicle. We use them as a stop when heading south...

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Site was large enough. I wish that the site had less dirt maybe concrete pads. The main arteries in the campground need to be at least gravel. Too much dirt. Price went up and I really saw no improvements.

We stayed in H01 which is practically on the lake where the beach is. We enjoyed a beautiful sunset and a big fire. Oh, and Hunt Brothers pizza. Surprisingly delicious! I gave a 4 because there is some cleaning up they need to do but I’m sure that will be done before the season really gets going. You will hear road noise but that obvious since it’s close to 95. Great campground!

The overall location is good...easy access for day trips, restaurants, groceries. The pizza on-site is great! The facility needs some improvements but it seems as though they are working on that....the bathrooms, etc. It will be better when that is all complete. Staff is the best...you enter as a stranger and leave as a friend.

Hidden gem! Easy on/off from highway. Store has delicious pizza delivered to your RV. Nice sites. Liked it so much we decided to add a day instead of just overnight. The bathrooms closest to us were closed for renovations. Will definitely be back again.

We were stopping through on our way North from Florida. We were able to get a site with short notice and arrived after dark. The map was very helpful in finding our site and set-up was simple. When we woke the next morning, the views and scenery were a welcomed surprise. The facilities were well maintained and extremely clean.
