Staff was very friendly and helpful. Even put us under a tree to keep some of the sum off of the camper.

We have been staying at this KOA as our go-to half-way stop on our trips to Houston. The campground is in a nice part of Shreveport with Walgreens, restaurants, etc. all within a mile. But it is still rural enough to feel "country" yet very convenient to getting back on the road. The employees (especially Charity) are all very nice and accommodating. We shall return!

The highlight of our stay at this KOA was the young lady who checked us in. She was friendly, efficient and very helpful. We had been having a bad day and her personality and smile helped make it a little better. Other than that, I was surprised that this park was a KOA. It doesn’t meet the high standards that I relate to KOA campgrounds. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you had no choic

Woke up departure morning to tent squatters next to us. They hit me up for the bathroom codes. Said they lost theirs. So drifters we’re able to slip in, set up, then hustle us for what they needed.

I've always been impressed with the KOA campgrounds in general, it is such a relief to know that when we get to our site that everything will be perfect. KOA Shreveport was fantastic. We were in Shreveport to see family so we weren't at the site a lot, but when we were there were no problems. The staff were great as well, very friendly.

The campers sites are to close together. Our concrete walkway and patio area was positioned right by the black water drain for the camper next to us. It smelled just like feces. Will not be staying at this KOA again.

Friendly people. Great sites with lots of room to accommodate our length. Only downside is the right turn onto Old Military Road to get to the campground. Had we known ahead, we would have driven through the corner shopping center to make that turn. Our motorhome was 36 feet long with a trailer, total 62 feet total. One train heard far away but it was a quiet park - nice break!

This cabin is nothing extra than a reg. Cabin Except it. Had. Bathroom Nothing extra is. Provided It also has not a good smell I would pay more for a real Deluxe cabin

Very helpful and friendly staff. We miss booked and they were able to accommodate us in an overflow space. Staff made a great dinner recommendation at Blind Tiger. Wonderful evening. Enjoyed the pool. Park very clean. Sites on lower end have lots of loose gravel, but otherwise, great place to stay.

WiFi is weak. Sewer inlet placed to far from water source making black tank flush difficult. Trash bins not numerous and are not conveniently positioned.

Check in procedures were simple, RV site was a little uneven but acceptable, bathrooms and shower were nice, nice dog park.

Except for the water being turned off by the city, which was no fault of the KOA, it was quiet and we had very friendly neighbors to talk to about life. Thank you! KOAs are the best!

Great stop...the dog loved the campground. Nicky's Mexican resteraunt is a must if you stay here.

Visit again: Yes. Very convenient Campground Vibe (adult/upper scale, family/kids, stopover only): safe clean stop over. One of the nicest "Journey" KOA stops. Felt safe: yes GPS accuracy: yes Type of site: pull-thru Items included with site: table and chairs. No fire pits. Site surface (condition/leveling/material): Concrete parking pad with gravel around it. Great condition. Spacing between sites: generous. Sewer/Electric/Water conditions: working, clean and easy to access. Noise level: very quiet despite being so close to i20. Staff: Very nice and welcoming. Services: wi-fi worked well. Trash pick-up Campground roads: (such as trees, ditches or rocks): Parking space for trucks at site: generous Views: none Reason for our visit: traveling through on our way back east. Note: this isn't a bad thing, just an odd thing. There are a few vinyl fences place about. Not sure the purpose of these.
