It was nice, the cabin was just as described, nothing fancy but very clean and comfortable. We always appreciate a dog park, it is great to leave the dogs off leash especially after a long day in the vehicle.

I stay here a couple of times each year as I’m Passing through going to & from Florida. The staff is always very nice. I like the all concrete pads better than the the ones with partial concrete /gravel. The dog park could use some grass. There’s a lot of dirt so when the dogs run around they get dirty. If u like the casinos, this is a good location.

Campground lighting was dark. Could use a change machine for the laundry. "Free WiFi" isn't. 50 amp power is miswired for the ground according to my Hughes power conditioner. Was clean with good sites. Easy in and out. Staff was friendly.

There was difficulty opening the ladies bathroom lock. Took several attempts each time. The showers only had one chair to share between the 4 showers.

The staff is awesome. The grounds are well maintained. Now if only the campers would clean up after their pets….the office even has pet bags…free Thank you for the 2 day stay, will definitely make this a stop again,

convenient to highway but sites very close together. For an overnight stay it worked for us. Staff super friendly and helpful.

Great friendly staff! I was in 49, two nights. Easy to pull into but the front has quite a drop for my small rig. It needs some filling in. Laundry is great, everything works. Bathroom and showers work and heated building. Wifi worked!! 2 bars on my ATT LTE. Didn't hear much street noise. Disappointed LPG min is 5 gals and dogs barking, beagles howling day and night.

Excellent staff, friendly and professional. Campground was well taken care of and very clean. Nestled in the pines and wonderfully quiet. I stayed and extra day as I really enjoyed my stay.

A less confident camper with a larger rig should probably ask for a spot in front of the office. Overall a typical KOA. check-in was very fast and efficient; easier tham most parks.

Lovely park; level and spotless site; well placed campground for the Shreveport area; would recommend highly!

The right stop for overnight. Easy in. Easy out. Easy to find the campground with giant sign. GPS accurate. A bit off the interstate so no road noise. Quiet campers. Site was level. Campground "streets" wide enough to maneuver a 5th. Plenty of room for big rigs or to park your truck. Staff was welcoming. We would stop here again.

good park to stay

Preferred the cabin we had last year. This one had no sink in the kitchenette area. Not a disaster by any means as the bathroom has one! Toilet seat seems to have been broken by previous guests and not replaced. One slat of blind broken by previous guest and not repaired (probably a dog jumped up!) The team in the checkin office is a great group. Lovely people.

Sites in back of campground away from road are not big rig capable, they should be for 30' or less towables. Poor site layouts as well, either in mud or off cement slab,or have 1' drop-off from slabs. Trees also planted way too close to site entrances making it difficult to enter sites. Water is swampy too!

Stayed one night in each two of the deluxe cabins as a one-night stop over on our outgoing and return trip for the Christmas holiday. Small KOA compared to others we have stayed at, but very nice campground overall. Cabins were clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the dog park and playground.

I loved this place! Cute little cabin in the woods. Safe during Covid! We had an outdoor sport to wash dishes. We came on Christmas Day and they accommodated us. Plus they let us stay just one night at a time which worked perfectly for folks like us travelling to and from relatives during Christmas. Thank you so much!

The staff at Shreveport/Bossier City KOA went out of their way to help us on arrival. A problem with our tow vehicle appeared on our way there. Arranged for dealer service, expected repair to take several days (diesel emissions...grrr). They arranged for an additional two nights on our site in case we needed it. Thankfully we got back on the road on schedule, but they came through in a pinch!

Super friendly and helpful people. After some sleepless nights in noisy campgrounds, the peace and quiet was welcomed. Dogs enjoyed the dog park and we paid extra for the cement pad for easily leveling. We’d stay there again! 36’ Class A

Visit again: Yes. Very convenient Campground Vibe (adult/upper scale, family/kids, stopover only): safe clean stop over. One of the nicest "Journey" KOA stops. Felt safe: yes GPS accuracy: yes Type of site: pull-thru Items included with site: table and chairs. No fire pits. Site surface (condition/leveling/material): Concrete parking pad with gravel around it. Great condition. Spacing between sites: generous. Sewer/Electric/Water conditions: working, clean and easy to access. Noise level: very quiet despite being so close to i20. Staff: Very nice and welcoming. Services: wi-fi worked well. Trash pick-up Campground roads: (such as trees, ditches or rocks): Parking space for trucks at site: generous Views: none Reason for our visit: traveling through on our way back east. Note: this isn't a bad thing, just an odd thing. There are a few vinyl fences place about. Not sure the purpose of these.
