Normally would give 5-star, but site needed weed-eated, power pedestal 20-amp plugs did not work, 30-amp connection was obviously over-stressed...... With the air conditioner running, I could not run the fridge on A/C.... The fridge display showed "LO AC" and would switch back and forth to LP. Finally set the fridge to run on propane. The office DID issue me a $5.78 credit that I thought was fair.

Conveniently located near I-20, level sites, hookups all worked and properly located. Park seemed to be short-staffed. No escort to site, and grounds were not well-maintained. Seemed to be less than the usual KOA standards.

Easy check in process by friendly staff. We had a level pull thru concrete pad with easy access. Restrooms were very clean. We didn't use any of the amenities, but the pool looked nice. Only negative is some road areas are tight for large rigs when making turns in the park.

5 stars to the staff at this location ! Very accommodating ! I came through the first time on business and needed a spot... And I liked it so much I stayed on my way back home ! They even let me have the same spot so I would not have to un-hook and leave early in the morning. I love the level spots and very nice patio furniture provided for you. Thank you for 2 great stays! We stayed 2 nights with our 5th wheel to game at the casinos and the park provides a great spot to headquarter. Our spot was a bit tight for our 42 foot trailer and next time I will try to get a longer spot with enough turning room to get out without several realignments. The store is well stocked and the proprietors are very helpful and accommodating. This is our second stay at this park.

They are working very hard to keep up with the maintenance in the park. Very friendly and helpful staff. We had a really nice site in the back with trees for shade. Really well stocked shop with RV necessities. Nice pool!

Easy advance information and registration. KOA was fully prepared and ready when I got there, and into my space within only a few minutes. Clean and well-kept.

Great spot in Shreveport. Nice and safe with fence for privacy off the road but very convenient to the AF base and downtown. VERY helpful staff at the front desk and clean campground. I really appreciated the help with our site and getting us set up.

The staff was incredibly helpful and moved us to a larger site to better accommodate our rig. It was conveniently located to 20, we'd stay there again.

Very nice people. Very muddy sites. Lake Bonita is certainly not Bonita nor a lake. Facilities are clean. People are nice. But need to pave all camping spots, not just for big rigs.

Have always enjoyed staying in this KOA. It's now a part of our vacation planning to stay here. Staff are very accomodating, helpful and friendly. We just love this KOA.

Needed to overnight. Was recommended by neighbor. It was perfect. Clean, safe and convenient. The office staff were very nice and professional. Would stay there again.

We had electrical problems. The staff was extremely helpful to try to find service they checked power at site pedestal.ok Saturday morning the wall slide jammed, Again very helpful trying to get some one out and letting stay and holding site as needed. The staff was always friendly and cheerful. We are sure we will return for a future stay THANKS, Chuck and Connie

Nice, very clean KOA. We paid for a premium site. Super pleased with the purchase. Site was concrete and mostly level with 2 sewer traps…..made set up very easy. No road noise b/c set off interstate. Nice large and clean pool as well!

Convenient location, just a few miles off of I-20. We stayed here to visit the casinos and boardwalk. Nice big sites, mostly pull-thrus. Would stay here again.

Great stop...the dog loved the campground. Nicky's Mexican resteraunt is a must if you stay here.

Visit again: Yes. Very convenient Campground Vibe (adult/upper scale, family/kids, stopover only): safe clean stop over. One of the nicest "Journey" KOA stops. Felt safe: yes GPS accuracy: yes Type of site: pull-thru Items included with site: table and chairs. No fire pits. Site surface (condition/leveling/material): Concrete parking pad with gravel around it. Great condition. Spacing between sites: generous. Sewer/Electric/Water conditions: working, clean and easy to access. Noise level: very quiet despite being so close to i20. Staff: Very nice and welcoming. Services: wi-fi worked well. Trash pick-up Campground roads: (such as trees, ditches or rocks): Parking space for trucks at site: generous Views: none Reason for our visit: traveling through on our way back east. Note: this isn't a bad thing, just an odd thing. There are a few vinyl fences place about. Not sure the purpose of these.
