This was our first stay in our new RV. Had a couple of issues with the RV, no water the first night and no heat the second night, but no problems with the camp. We really appreciate the nice bathroom/showers because of RV issues. The wooded location was very soothing. Our dog enjoyed the walks around the property and fenced dog area so she could play ball. A really great shake down RV trip.

We wish the playground area for the kids were bigger. Liked the fun Route 66 photo stand-ins.

Staff was very friendly, campground well cared for except for the number of dead branches over sites - a bit worry some. Sites closer together than we like, but manageable. Appreciated the pull throughs.

Very wet spaces due to rain. The people are really good, but there needs to be some improvements in the sites. This is new ownership so time will tell.

Other KOAs give Military discount except this one. Trains run all night—beware!

We come up every year for the NCHBC Homeschool basketball nationals. We enjoy staying at the KOA. We really missed the swings on the premium sites though. They are making updates to the grounds which is nice. I highly recommend a basketball, and pickle ball area for the older kids, and parents.

Very nice park, well kept, nice dog parks. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again when in the area. Only criticism is the entrance is to narrow for easy access by bigger RVs from the narrow road.

Very nice owner and staff. The park and facilities are really clean. Quiet. Lot size is spacious and level. The only negative, just wish the store was stocked more.

The only thing I didn’t like was the heater did not work do you need to upgrade it.

Late night train was the main problem. Relatively close to main routes. Needed more gravel &/or grass in many spots, especially during rainy weather. Office had no “tourist info” on Springfield area or even the Rebublic community where the campground was located. Did enjoy the slightly rural peaceful area, while still having good access to main routes. KOAs amenities are always dependable.

Book ahead, it filled up. Lots of nice pull through for those passing by. Very nice shower and bathhouse.

What a beautiful KOA. I wish we had more time to enjoy it. The only draw back was we couldn't find a trash can to put our trash in. We're a family of 4 and the tiny trash can we found wasn't large enough for the trash bag. Maybe better signage would help. But overall, a beautiful place.

We just stayed over night. Nice location right off the highway. They left us our site info clipped on the building since we arrived after hours and left before they opened. They gave us a nice drive through the fit our 5th wheel perfectly! Nice field to walk our dog around. (Yes we cleaned up after our dog!) The only down side was the train track right next to the camp ground, the trains are loud

It was a nice cabin in safe area but train nearby was very loud all night.Absolutely ridiculous that the general store and office was closed by 6pm.There was nothing to do or game room to unwind in when I arrived late night with nothing around for miles.Needs to have some kind of option for hanging out and unwinding or way to get food on site after 9 or 10pm.Also did not realize no linens!!

It was nice for a fun weekend away. A few small updates would be good, like the doors in our cabin stuck pretty bad , the drain in the tub was broken, and the digging toy at the playground was broken. Overall happy with stay! Kids had a blast!

Have stayed here before and the staff are always helpful and pleasant . I was impressed with the restroom and showers remodel . The only issue is the lack of gravel on the roads and camp sites . There are to many mud holes when it rains because I have experienced it for myself . I will stay there again !

Thanks for staying with us and glad you like the remodel! We have gravel on the way! Fixing those low spots is our top priority right now.

The on-site staff is extremely friendly and helpful! They even shuffled my site around so that I could stay in a more convenient location! The train is right by the campground, but it did not bother me while I was there. I will definitely stay here when I'm driving through again. Very EV-friendly too!

The camp ground was dated but clean, way to much noise for us with small kids. The trains at night were awful, the road was very busy and the planes were loud too. I would not stay here again just for the noise factor. Staff were very nice, and took care of our needs.

Over night stay. Facility was very neat and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were pretty tired so their pizza was welcomed and delicious. We would stay again.

Everything was good, the office staff were all pleasant and helpful. The restrooms were clean. The spaces are large. If I had one complaint they need to put more gravel down. It was quite muddy and a lot of potholes in the driveways.

Great staff! Nice clean park with trees, patios, picnic tables. Quiet except for an occasional train. Very rainy and wet so water was standing in our site. Gravel needs to be added so water drains away. We stayed overnight in a fifth wheel.

We had a tiny camper with no bathroom facility aboard. We were put into a tent site close to the restrooms. We hopped over one to take advantage of the higher ground - thank goodness, as the one next turned into swamp after it rained. No emergency number or host to contact between 6pm and 9am. Seems odd for a KOA.

Nice level pull through. Friendly staff. Convenient having pizza and wings available on site. A bit noisy at night with being so close to train crossing blasts. Overall a goid stay.

It was a nice campground but for a couple of issues - and one of which cannot be fixed. First a lot of commercial rail traffic, each its presence multiple times. It was better later in the evening and through the night but still … The second issue was the bathrooms - they are dark and in need of some renovation. I also like the individual bath suites; these are typical gym style.

I do not know why KOA is not more standardized but I stayed in three different Deluxe cabins on my trip from California to Kentucky and yours was by far what I would consider a deluxe cabin thank you very much

Great facilities, very clean and well maintained. Staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared for each RVer.

Everything was good except for the train horn at all times including the night. A little more leaf raking would be good as well. I would rank it higher but those two things were quite bothersome.

We enjoyed our 2-night stay. The campground was clean and the staff was friendly. The Wi-Fi was the best we experienced at a campground. My kids enjoyed the yard games. The playground can use some improvements though. A little noisy being next to the rail-road crossing.
