St. George / Hurricane KOA Journey General Information

Currently, pet friendly cabin accomodations are limited. Please keep this in mind and reserve well ahead of time to guarantee your schedule.

Good behavior is required. Dogs of any breed that are hostile or aggressive will be asked to leave the campground, along with their owners.Bring the leash. Dogs must be kept on leashes no longer than 6 feet when outside their owners' vehicles or rental units. Do not leave a tethered dog unattended.Remember manners. Constant barking bothers other campers. If your pet is too vocal, you'll need to find other accommodations.

Whether you need an overnight rest, or a weeks-long base camp, St. George/Hurricane KOA Journey is perfectly situated near major roads. It's as stress-free to pull in as it is to start your next day's adventure. Late arrivals will find their welcome packet and site map in the Late Arrivals booth. Don't have a reservation? Subject to availability, we have a system to accommodate walk-in requests for RV or tent sites even after the office is closed.

Please bring the license plate numbers for ALL vehicles to the office with you when you arrive.
RV & Tent Sites may Check In at 1:00 pm. Cabins may Check In at 3:00 pm.
Check Out time is by 11:00 am.
Early Check-In or Late Check-Out is available for $30 and is subject to availability.
After Hours Self Check-In is available when the office is closed. Go to the Late Arrivals building and locate your guest packet, filed by your last name in the Reservations file box. Follow the map to your site and get settled. If you're staying longer than one night, staff will complete Check In using the card on file from your deposit, so you can start your day as early as you want!

To help us keep our campground nice for you and the next guest, fees between $25-$150 may be charged for the following: stained linens (cabins), pet waste pickup, trash pickup, disposal of items that don't fit in the dumpster, indoor or outdoor furniture not returned to its original location, and sewage spill cleanup.

• RV sites are full hook-up with a 70' max pull thru.
  
• RV and tent sites have 20/30/50 amp electric.
  
• We require ALL towed vehicles and trailers to be disconnected from the Motorhome prior to moving to a standard pull-thru or back-in site. This rule does not apply to a deluxe or premium site if the reservation was made for the combined length of your equipment.
  
• No RVs are allowed on tent sites. We welcome car camping and roof-top tents on tent sites.
  
• No tents are allowed on Cabin or RV sites. Shade structures are allowed at these sites but may NOT be staked into the ground.
  

Store & Registration
We are a year-round campground open 7 days a week:
  Sunday - Thursday     9:00 am - 5:00 pm
  Friday & Saturday      9:00 am - 7:00 pm
Please note that giving staff time to be with their family is very important to us and the store/office may be closed on New Year's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Pool
Hours may vary with the season, but the pool is usually open the same hours as the office.
*NEW* Pool is heated and open Winter 2026! Check with our staff for access.
For your safety, the pool may be closed for maintenance and inclement weather.

Visitors of registered guests are welcome between the hours of 8:00 am - 10:00 pm. There is a daily visitor fee of $10.00. The visitor fee is fully refundable if staying less than 2 hours. Visitors must register at the office.

Clubhouse hours may vary with the season. Equipment for games located in the clubhouse and on the campground can be checked out at the office. Overnight loans are available.

FedEx, UPS, and USPS deliver to St George/Hurricane KOA Journey. All items will be delivered to the office and can be picked up when the store is open. We cannot accept a package that needs to be refrigerated or deliver a package to your site.

Parking
Sites allow for one RV and one tow or towed vehicle. While there is very limited parking for additional vehicles near the campsites, there is plenty of parking in our overflow lots. There is no fee to park additional vehicles in overflow. Please contact the office to be directed to a space that fits your equipment.
EV Charging
EV charging is not available. It is essential to understand that EVs require constant electricity flow to charge their batteries, and our campground's electric pedestals do not have this capability. Plugging in your EV to a traditional 30-50 amp campground pedestal could permanently damage your vehicle as well as the campground's electrical system.

Quiet hours are 10:00 pm - 8:00 am. Please be considerate of other campground guests.
