Experience the magic of the night sky during the St. Ignace Drone Show Series, when hundreds of synchronized drones light up over the waterfront in a choreographed display set to music. These state-of-the-art shows blend art and technology to create custom shapes and animations that move across the sky in real time.Shows take place over the downtown waterfront, with the best viewing near the St. Ignace Marina. Bring a blanket or chair and settle in early for a good spot. Some nights include a synced soundtrack that you can access by scanning a QR code and entering the show code, so you can hear the music even if you are watching from farther down the shoreline.

St. Ignace lights up the sky with a free fireworks show over Moran Bay sponsored by Arnold Transit Company.The display begins just after dusk, and can be enjoyed from several scenic spots along the downtown waterfront, including the Huron Boardwalk, American Legion Park, Kiwanis Beach, and areas along N. State Street.It's the perfect way to end a summer day in St. Ignace—bring a blanket or chair and take in the show with friends, family, or fellow visitors along the shores of the Straits.

Join us for the 50th Annual St. Ignace Car Show Weekend, June 25-28, 2026!   SOME Details below are still from 2025 - 2026 to be updated soon.  Dates are for 2026.

You are invited to one of the largest ALL MAKES, ALL MODELS car shows in the country. Over 800 show vehicles on the main street through downtown St. Ignace on the shores of beautiful Lake Huron. St. Ignace – Big Time car show with our famous Small Town charm! If you have a classic car or vintage truck tucked away in your garage, why not consider registering your pride and joy and bringing it to our car show? Online Registration will be discounted to $25 for pre-registration, which closes on June 13 at noon.
Onsite Registration will be cash only $40 in 2025. Onsite Registration is available Thursday, June 25-Saturday, June 27, at the show. On Thursday, June 25, and Friday, June 26, from 12:00 (Noon) to 5 pm, you can register or pick up your packet at the Registration Tent, located just to the left of the entrance to the St. Ignace Marina. On Saturday, June 29, from 8 am-12:00 (Noon), you will be able to register your vehicle or pick up your packet at the Registration Tent. We are HIGHLY recommending pre-registration so we can better prepare for the event. We also recommend that you pick up your packet on Thursday or Friday if you arrive in town before Saturday. It will save you some time and effort. Registration includes:

Celebrate 85 years of Jeep heritage in the place where the passion runs deep. St. Ignace invites Jeep® owners, fans, and families to join a special one-time birthday event filled with music, food, and fun for all ages. Festivities begin Friday evening, July 31, with a themed drone show at dusk, lighting up the bay in honor of Jeep's 85th birthday. The celebration continues Saturday, August 1, from 12–3 PM at Little Bear East Arena with cake and ice cream, live music, a beer tent, yard games, bounce houses, food trucks, and special awards. The party caps off with a Jeep Parade through downtown St. Ignace at 3:30 PM, bringing the community together for one memorable ride. Registration will open after the new year. Photos from past Jeep events will be featured on this page as we get closer to the celebration.

Join us for the Rendezvous at the Straits Powwow, a welcoming community celebration open to all, with admission by donation. This authentic Native American gathering features traditional dancing, drumming, and singing, along with vendor demonstrations, hand-crafted arts and crafts, and delicious Native American cuisine. The Rendezvous is a family-friendly, alcohol- and drug-free event sponsored by the St. Ignace Events Committee, the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, and Kewadin Casinos. Alongside the powwow, explore the Indigenous Art Show, showcasing culturally significant works from local Indigenous artists and creators from across the region and beyond. These exhibits and workshops are designed to build understanding and strengthen communication between Indigenous communities and event attendees—fostering meaningful connections and lifelong friendships through art and culture.

Every Labor Day morning, the iconic Mackinac Bridge becomes a footpath of celebration as thousands of participants gather at either the north end in St. Ignace or the south end in Mackinaw City to mark an enduring Michigan tradition. This unique event offers an unforgettable chance to walk across one of the most stunning landmarks in the state, connecting the Upper and Lower Peninsulas above the shimmering waters of the Straits of Mackinac. Notice: info below from 2025 - Will Update with 2026 information as it becomes available. 
Time: Walk begins at 7:00 AM; last entry onto the bridge at 11:30 AM
Bridge Closure: Closed to public vehicle traffic from 6:30 AM to 12:00 PM
Cost: Free; no registration required
Participation Options: Halfway Turnaround: Start from either St. Ignace or Mackinaw City, walk to the midpoint, and return to your starting point. One-Way Crossing: Walk the entire bridge from one end to the other. No bus transportation is provided; participants must arrange their own return transportation after the bridge reopens at noon. Round Trip (Double Cross): Walk the bridge both ways for a 10-mile journey. To complete the round trip, you must reach the midpoint on your return by 10:00 AM. Participants who do not reach the midpoint by 10:00 AM will be turned back to ensure the bridge reopens to traffic on time.

Join us for the 30th Annual Richard Crane Memorial Truck Show! 200 working and non-working trucks fill downtown St. Ignace, along with food trucks, vendors, live music, and more. Followed by the famous Parade of Lights across the Mackinac Bridge Saturday night. We anticipate a record number of show trucks this year and will have limited judging categories as a result. We will be closing more of downtown St. Ignace to accommodate the increased number of show trucks, sponsors, and vendors. Tentative Agenda Thursday: Truck Registration 9-6 at the Mackinac County Airport. Friday: Truck Registration 9-6 at the Mackinac County Airport; 12 pm street closure Marquette to McCann; 3-6 Live Music at a variety of downtown locations; Dusk: Light show (no judging); Drone Show at 8:45. In 2026, Trek the Mighty Mac will once again feature the unforgettable Mackinac Bridge Crossing—along with all the activities riders know and love. Off-road enthusiasts are invited to join the 12th Annual Trek the Mighty Mac, open to SXS, 3-wheelers, 4-wheelers, and dirt bikes only. Dogs are permitted if they can sit on your lap for bus transport and are riding in a fully enclosed machine for the bridge crossing. Dogs are not allowed in the arena. Drivers must hold a valid driver's license. If you want to cross the bridge with friends, plan to drop your machines off at the same time as your group. Each year, more Trekkers gather in St. Ignace to enjoy food and gear vendors, a one-of-a-kind Saturday parade across the Mackinac Bridge, and an afternoon of off-roading adventures.
