Excellent campground with world-class views!

The kids loved the pool and the ice cream at the end of each day. We also loved relaxing in the hot tub after a long day of hiking and talking to other guests. The bathrooms were nice and clean. I love the fold down bench in the shower stalls. We even used the outdoor gas grill one night. Thanks!

Located near entrance to Glacier. That's great! Store was nice. View is lovely from most sites. $600+ for our week -we had no view of mountains. We used hot tub & shower rooms once. Uffdah - yucky. I kindly mentioned it wasn't healthy. I wouldn't wash in there again.

The campground was conveniently located at the east entrance to Glacier National Park. The campground, sites and store were well maintained. The restrooms/showers were the best we’ve come across in 10 years of camping and traveling all over the lower 58 states. Thanks KOA.

The St Mary KOA is well located along the St Mary river and near both Glacier National Park in the US and Waterton Lake Parc National in Canada which is also very cool to visit and less crowded than Glacier. The staff at KOA was very helpful bith in helping coordinate several reservations and also when wrangling incoming rigs to assure they didn’t get in the way of others.

Rented a camping cabin. None of the 4 e-mails we received stated we needed to provide our own linens/pillows/blankets. We would have brought them but, instead, we had nothing and the KOA refused to help us and refused to admit they never told us. The e-mails did say it had a foam mattress but, instead, it was a cheap, plastic, very uncomfortable pad that you would find in P.E. class in schools.

Extremely overpriced for what they offer. Most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in, no outlets in the cabin and terrible wifi. Hot tub closes too early and is always packed. Not enough bathrooms (3 for nearly 50 people). Other than that it was great

Very clean and safe environment. Our camp site was beautiful. I will definitely make plans to return. I was in a tent and felt very safe and secure. I also appreciated the dog park to allow for some off leash time.

Our first tent camp site was WAY too small for any sized tent. I wouldn't even call it a site (L11). So we were moved to another site (K18) which was nice but already occupied by another tent campers. We did finally get a good spot for the third attempt. Meanwhile my credit card was charge and refunded three different times. All in all it turned out fine, but man what a fiasco!

AMAZING! We loved how close we were to the entrance of the park! Great pool and hot tub area with spectacular views! We also loved the nature trail and kayak rentals! A 10/10!

Staying just outside Glacier we expected better landscaping. There are no trees or shade. The landscape which is just mainly grass is not well maintained, overgrown and infringing on the rock sites. They have good amenities like corn hole and bocce ball, it again not well maintained. The pool and hot tub are ok…seemed clean, however none of the jets in the hot tub were working…

Camping cabin was easy to access and clean. Nice to have fridge and microwave. Laundry room was a plus. No screen door on our cabin so could not have door open. Not enough showers. And some were out of order so had to wait for showers a couple times. Staff were very nice.

I would not recommend this campground. After checking in we quickly noticed this campground wasn’t holding campers accountable for bear safety. We felt uneasy & reported to the front office that campers had food/grills/garbage out. Later that night I woke up to a bear pushing me into the middle of my tent. We reported the incident to the owner who handled things poorly/little concern for safety.

Very disappointed with this KOA as the campsite’ s were not up to par for a KOA!! It’s old and really needs to be updated, especially for the cost of staying there! We know that it’s a great location but we were still very disappointed!! I was also upset that after putting my name on the waiting list to stay a second night after 3 mths they changed it w/o contacting me-they did this twice!

The staff was amazing, always kind and friendly. The amenities that they after are great after a long day in the park. Very close to the 3ast entrance to GNP.

Would have been a 5, but went with 4 because instead of having a short term door latch solution for the 2nd shower/bathroom stall in our area (needed due to a delayed part to fix the broken lock), it was simply left as "use at own risk" making it pretty much obsolete unless you had someone willing to stand guard. Made it really busy trying to share the only one at certain times of day.

Made reservation in Jan. After arriving was put ina site 30 amp and whole rig hooked up just did fit.

Campground was packed. Staff working hard but overwhelmed. Cabin was fine, but bathrooms were disgusting at times with clogged and overflowing toilets, messy floors and sink surfaces, and paper towels run out. Too few bathroom facilities for too many guests, especially during Covid. A real disappointment.

Everything here was very clean and the people were very friendly and helpful. Our car broke down and if we had needed to stay another night they were willing to do whatever it took to find us another tent site. We ended up getting a tow truck, but I appreciated the fact that they were willing to work with us.

The spot where we parked our camper was nice with full hookups. For as expensive as it is to stay here I would think you could put some money into maintaining your facility. The swimming pool was dangerous with all the broken tiles and sandpaper like bottom. The playground was falling apart, so much I was afraid my daughter would break the swings. We had a good time but feel it’s time to renovat

Besides the views, the KOA was lacking and the deluxe cabin was the worst we have stayed in, especially for the price. We did have a moose and baby come right though our site which was awesome and the convenience to the park is very nice. We have stayed in the West Glacier campground several times and I would recommend that KOA before I would come back to this one.

It was not worth the money! Bathrooms and water are far away from the tent sites, the people who need that the most. The bathrooms were disgusting for hours before someone finally cleaned them—feces and vomit, not just dirt! The site also was extremely small, we barely fit our tent. Again, I wished I was in a national forest campground rather than there, but with Covid most were closed or full.

Good campground. Big, clean restrooms. The pool was inviting. Many of the campfire grates, however, are within a few inches of trees and vegetation. Seems like a severe fire risk.

Wonderful! And my cabin was right next to the restaurant, but at 10:00 pm the area went quiet! Great place and amenities!

The stay was good but I was disappointed that emails ahead of time were not answered. I had booked two nights on one reservation, then booked the night before on a separate reservation. Several days before our arrival, I wrote an email asking if we could get the same site for all three nights. No answer. No luck when we checked in either, and the person didn't seem interested in accommodating.

Good place. Staff was great. The campground was crowded. I was tent camping and could hear people around the campground playing music, laughing and kids playing after 10pm. I went to one campground and asked them to turn off the music. I shouldn’t have to do that. Staff should patrol the campground and enforce the quiet time rules that all guests agree to when they sign the paperwork at check-in

Absolutely loved staying here during our time in Glacier! We stayed in one of the small cabins with no bathroom and it was perfect for my boyfriend and I. We went during the last 3 days they were open so it was quiet and peaceful. Only complaint would be there is no where for food during this time because the park and KOA is about to close! Otherwise it was amazing.

Have stayed here a few times and the staff is wonderful. Late season camping and not crowded. We had a cabin facing trash dumpsters, smell of sewage and tall fence blocking view behind cabin. Disappointing location.

Family atmosphere with friendly accessible owners and staff . Outstanding gift shop with coffee and ice cream bar, dog friendly park , very clean bathrooms and hot hot showers , lots of options for tents , trailers , and cabins ….. plenty of amenities and convenient access to Glacier National Park / St Mary's entrance .
