camped in tent area - my first rule of camping is never spend time on the site except to sleep and do some work if needed. Good areas for both. Great idea of keeping tents in far end of campground away from RV units. Washrooms close enough and not too close.

My wife and I stayed as "tenters" for 3 days, and it was the most enjoyable and relaxing time of our entire trip! First off the staff is top notch, so accommodating and helpful I cannot go into detail here. But First, first off - the residents are the most friendly and welcoming folks I had the pleasure of meeting! Though it was only 3 days, I feel greatly refreshed!

Compliments to your cleaning staff. The bathrooms were some of the cleanest that I have seen in any campground anywhere in the United States. It is doubtful that you can do anything about the bug situation. The “no See-ums” were brutal. Again, compliments on your bathroom cleanliness.

Hard working friendly staff, clean facilities, nice surroundings, close to the beach and places to eat. Also the bicycle trail next to the campground was a big plus for me.

We had the best time! Right on the water. Kayak launches! Also right next to the Pinellas Trail for bike riding. Every staff member we interacted with was amazing! The people camping here were also friendly. I can't wait to come back!

It was my first stay at a KOA and we were there to meet up with friends. At first I was a little overwhelmed at the size of the place and the congestion, but the amount of activities and the cleanliness, and then, the friendliness of the staff and other guests won me over. The only negative was the amount of light during the nighttime. We were in a tent and it made it harder to sleep.

This was the cleanest, best maintained campground I've been in. Friendly staff. Close to beaches and to St. Pete. We were in the tent area and loved it.

Was great stay, BUT, whoever is scheduling Primitive Camping sites needs to be retrained or replaced. Kept getting untrue site occupied or vacant. Untrue availability for some cabins.

This was our first stay with KOA and the trip was delightful. The staff was amazing and the site was clean. Facilities were well maintained. Would highly recommend and will stay again often.

Beautiful campground we have stayed at many times in a camper. This trip was in a tent and although the spot was beautiful they were random people walking by our site at odd hours of the day and night so we did not feel 100% safe. Also there was little to no hot water in the showers ����.

The primitive camping is too close and in a very high traffic area. Too many kids playing, dog walking, boat launching and too many lights.

The campground itself was nearly perfect. The check-in was quick and easy and the employees were very friendly. The campground was clean. I stayed at the tent campsite and the campground had a small building for cellular recharging. My only complaint was that the campground is in a fairly congested area so there at night there was road noise from loud cars and trucks, ambulances, etc.

Awful! People were arrested during our stay Old people smoking marijuana drinking and driving golfing carts If you are under 60 years old you can not talk or laugh or even speak on the phone Surrounded my husband accusing us of being loud when we hadn’t even been in the park all day We were very confused asked for a refund and left Worst place to stay

Loved the location of the premium tent sites and the picnic bench, chairs, table, umbrella. Just perfect. Things that could improve. 1) Ability to park the car next to the site (and be able to charge it). 2) The faucet is low to the ground behind a bench accessible only from the neighboring tent site. It would seem a simple fix to move and raise it. 3) Impenetrable rocks underneath pad.

The staff was wonderful! We had a few requests that the staff were kind enough to accommodate for us and they were wonderful! The camp is beautiful and the water was so much fun to paddle board in! I don’t know the name, but the person who checked me in was very kind and accommodating. He went into detail to explain the KOA amenities. I will definitely stay again!

Excellent! Just a couple of things I noticed in ladies room second shower stall on right no screws on drain, hazard. The first shower stall needs a new shower head, clogged. We will be back. We enjoyed kayak rental. Beautiful place!

First time camping at KOA. Blown away by the park & the friendly staff. Definitely camping here again in the future!

Pros...We loved the adults only hot tub and watching all the wildlife on/in the water. We saw fish, birds and manatees. Cons... The prices were over double what we paid other places to camp and it was crowded and under construction.

We stay only 2 nights, unfortunately. Amazing place, friendly staff, very clean and a lot of activities for kids. Highly recommended.

Website shows activities like bingo/live music, but it is NOT advertised holiday weekends only.Pools were dirty, shower I used had barely any water pressure. Staff was very pleasant. Site was beautiful. Security helpful.

Stayed at camp site/ tent . People next to us very aggressive, cursing, threatening behavior. Had to leave tent and stayed in car next to security golf cart by entrance . Had to try to sleep in car. My wife was shaken up. Felt very unsafe, threatened

Everything was great, I would come to on the lack of tent sites available, left at the farthest end and in the mangroves ( I was eaten alive by the no see em’s ) also being pet friendly , maybe some individual containment’s for those of us primitive camping , who want to enjoy your concessions ie.. pool kayaking, even going to the showers and toilet, without hazard concerns for our pet, no AC

Super friendly! Pool is 86 degrees. For sure will enjoy the 5 days in the cabin. And will be coming back
