We had a great stay. The staff at check in was awesome. My main complaint was something that is out of KOA's control. The fishing/swimming lake was incredibly low.

This campground has NOTHING that is advertised. The only positive is that the staff was extremely friendly.

Very nice office staff. The road in the park is terrible and has been for a long time. Large gravel potholes full of water and mud. Just not a very attractive park with little or no curb appeal.

We usually stay at Starke, Fl when leaving Fl going north and when we are returning to our Fl home. Very friendly and lots of room to walk my little dog. We love it

No airflow in the showers. After the shower your drying off and instantly sweating. Need vent or open window above door. Bathrooms are the same way. Park, however is beautifull, plenty of space.

Cabin was NOT worth 148.00 per night. First cabin ac was not working had to move to a cabin full of ants and roaches seen. Ants ruined ALL our food. RV site was not worthy of "upgraded" site. No shade and were unable to use the slide which should have been conveyed at time of reservation. Office staff were very friendly and helpful and apologetic. For the money, state park would be better

Great check In experience. Nice grounds, level pads. However, had a number of Ant Beds, we had to navigate around. Overall experience was great.

A very nice campground. It's a shame the waterpark was closed due to the lake being very low. Would have though management would have told us that there was no using the lake. One of the reasons we wanted to stay there. Also there was no trash pick up for some reason. The campers that set their trash out front of their sites had it destroyed by crows. Would like to go back when lake levels are

The water table was down so, the water slide was not open. We came in 100 degree heat with kids and this was not expressed upon making reservation. First cabin ac was not working, moved to another and had all our food ruined by ants. Had to have the cabin recleaned due to sticky substance all over floor and counters. Woke to roaches on bedroom ceiling. NOT worth 148.00 per night for sure!

Very nice and clean campground. Grass is a little soggy after all the rain, but roads are fine.

It was a quick overnight stop. Concrete was level and the site was nice. The lake swimming area was blocked off, but I understand there was an issue with the levee on the lake. The campground overall lacked the overall polish most KOA's have. (Weedeating, attention to broken items on playground, etc) I have a 30 amp camper but ended using the 50 amp side due to an open neutral.

I was disappointed to see the water was not at level of the slides pictured in the advertisements of the property. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The site was clean and quiet. Good for our one night stay.

The park was clean, site was level and staff was helpful and friendly. However, the lake is drained (no fault of the KOA) and the onsite store was near empty. Felt it was expensive, given the lack of amenities. The pull thru sites are in full sun with no shade anywhere on that side of the campground. A few trees would be an improvement. Good place to stay if you're not expecting much on site.

I do love this campground but the one major thing that I don't like is the lake situation.We stayed with you 3 years ago and it was drained and being worked on and this time it is still drained and just growing up with trees and weeds.We picked you out of the KOA book as a beautiful park with big water slides and a beautiful lake.We were not told about this issue either time we booked. Dissappoint

Run down, no one was ever working or in the office. Only one person on staff and she was hard to locate. There is no water to this "wet n wild." The lake is dry, due to a levy problem.The facilities were locked. Looks like it had so much potential.. completely a bust for us.

The place is in bad need of repair, very few items in the store, no bread or a variety of grocery items, very disappointed

We returned after we’d been here a few times. We had some trouble with our camper and had to completely change our vacation plans. We knew this was a good place so we returned. The only bummer was that there was no water in the lake as there was a leak in the Levy. If ever in MS again, we will return.

Grass around our campsite was very high. Cable sound was very bad, switched to my over the air antenna. Pot holes at entrance needs repair.

Nice Campground, bathrooms clean and well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff. The only thing, which is not KOA's fault is the water level in the lake is really low so you can't really enjoy it. This is the State or County's fault. Dam needs repair, but they have not chosen to do so yet, or the money isn't there. So it is too bad. The time I had there was pleasant enough otherwise.

Stayed for a month. The older lady that signed me in last month was not very nice. She even made the National news. Google it. The 2 new younger ladies were very nice and had a great stay. First impressions are the most notable. Campground was great.

The campground was very nice and clean although the grass needed to be cut. My only complaint was that trees were being cut down with noisy chainsaws one morning at 8 am and the next morning at 7 am!

The site we were on (P2) seem to have what I thought was diesel fuel on the ground that has killed the grass. Wish the lake had water to be able to fish. Did not see any KOA staff after we checked in Thursday until I believe at 8pm when someone decided to start a chainsaw and cut down a tree.

We stayed one night at a tent site and just like when we stay with our camper, we were pleased with the cleanliness of the site and the bathrooms. We didn't have interactions with the new staff as we arrived late and left early, but we love Starkville KOA!!

Nice park on a lake. The people working the office were very friendly and helpful, especially the manager. Clean campground, nice facilities. I recommend this KOA and will stay here again when I am in the area.

We love this KOA. The staff always makes us feel at home. Sparkling clean restrooms and shower house. We'll definitely be back.

We had a great site with a large patio and fire ring that was very easy to get in but a little challenging to pull out on departure day. Lots of directional signs a little too close to the narrow road turned into extra obstacles to navigate around. The lake is still drained due to issues with the dam.

Our stay was quiet and enjoyable! The site we occupied #14 was well equipped with full hook ups plus local cable and fit our travel trailer (30' w/ living room slide) and tow vehicle perfectly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks to Brandy the service attendant during our stay.
