We had no issues. Mia was great and very accommodating at check in. We will definitely be back again. Love camping at the tent sites. Plenty of good firewood.

This is a beautiful Koa the bathrooms are very clean as well as the campground. The staff is very helpful and nice. The reason for the 3 stars is because the WiFi is very spotty and not very good reception and there is no lake access.

We loved the access to electricity and water. Firewood be available was great. Bathroom and shower access was nice. Campsite four electrical outlet does not work.

I am a tent camper. The tent sites are clean, mowed and well maintained. I’d highly recommend. Staff is super friendly.

We arrived a little early, but everything was set and we were able to go directly to our camp site. The site was as described, with electricity and water available. We were greeted by the manager shortly after arriving. It was all in all a pleasant experience.

The staff was amazing and very accommodating. I was a lot disappointed that there was no water in the lake of a campground advertising a water park. But the campground itself was clean and beautiful!

Great stay! We stayed in a tent and I felt very safe there. Quiet except for all the wonderful animal sounds. There were three gorgeous owls very close to our spot. Mia was so nice and kind, brought us firewood and made sure we had everything we needed. Bathrooms are beautiful and clean plus there are several shower rooms. Wonderful stay. I'll be back with my sister in the fall!

The stay was extremely enjoyable and the young man that was working was very pleasant. But if selling items in the store which I think is a very good idea the dates should be watched closer especially on the drinks.

Clean, friendly, and helpful. This was a great place to tent camp for the night. The place it really pretty even with lake is dry because of the levy break. You will not be disappointed. I would highly recommend staying here in a tent or RV. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

It was very nice except the electric that was suppose to be at the tent site did not work . Which was a little upsetting be cause I really do enjoy my coffee in the mornings and the fire ring could have been cleaned out after whom ever was there before us left.

Wifi didn't work; employees said they didn't sell firewood, but there was a sign for firewood; employees didn't know how much to charge for coffee.

We enjoyed our brief stay at the KOA because everything was sold out! We tent camped, but the outlets didn't work. We ran an extension cord to the campground next to us, which wasn't a huge deal. We were super bummed about the lake and the cabins though. I called and was told the cabins were sold out yet didn't see one person in them. We'd probably stay again, but definitely in cooler weather!

I was disappointed to see the water was not at level of the slides pictured in the advertisements of the property. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The site was clean and quiet. Good for our one night stay.

We stayed one night at a tent site and just like when we stay with our camper, we were pleased with the cleanliness of the site and the bathrooms. We didn't have interactions with the new staff as we arrived late and left early, but we love Starkville KOA!!

I have tent camped at this KOA for the last five years. I love staying here. The only issue that needs to be resolved for tent camping is some of the electrical outlets need to replaced/repaired. On tent campsite 2 there is a breaker that needs to be replaced. I know this breaker has been broken for at least two years. On tent campsite 3 the electrical outlet needs to be fixed. Thanks

Super helpful and friendly staff/owners. Onsite lake has a water park for the kids. They had just received 3 inches of rain in the previous 36 hours but my tent site was only slightly damp.

Ruby and Robert are the best! We were in for the MSU/A&M game and needed another spot. Luckily there was a cancellation. Ruby worked with me to set everything up last minute. The grounds are a wonderful setting on the lake, the bath facilities are clean and well maintained! Thanks for making our family-football weekend the best it could be. - Karen

The area was so clean, the managers were beyong friendly and helpful, the restrooms and showers were very clean, and the camp store had the ice we needed without us having to make a trip to a gas station or Walmart. They even offered us a tour of the cabins because we are considering staying in the wintertime. I will definitely stay there again!

It was very clean and the all staff was extremely helpful with checking-in and out. The staff was very nice and friendly. This is a wonderful place to stay/camp.

Tent camped on 9-29-18 for MSU game... Robert and Ruby were very helpful and friendly! Bathrooms and showers were clean and neat! my only issue was having electricity and water closer but Robert let me borrow an extra extension cord and it worked fine! Will be back and recommend to friends!

Wi-fi really isn't existent. If you want electricity when in a tent, select site 2, no outlets near any of the other three sites. Clean bathroom and shower. Nice hosts.

Camped in the primitive site with two motorcycles. Site was well maintained, and camp set up was a breeze. Very clean bathhouse facilities. The road to the sites is gravel for anyone on a motorcycle, but was stable enough to ride on. Will definitely be visiting again!

Loved it, other then the weather, which was your doing, friendly staff and as a person from the city wild life is not at the top of my list. Felt totally safe. If i take my dog to ME again. KIA would be my 1st choice to stay thank you Mrs Betty and Mr Robert yall were more the helpful.

Amazing hosts! Nice and quiet campground with a beautiful lake. The restrooms and showers were very clean and well stocked! If I am ever thinking about camping near there again I wouldn’t hesitate staying here.

Ruby and Robert were excellent hosts! The campground was CLEAN, natural and beautiful! Restrooms and showers were clean and in great condition. Loved the stay. Will definitely be back!

We had a great site with a large patio and fire ring that was very easy to get in but a little challenging to pull out on departure day. Lots of directional signs a little too close to the narrow road turned into extra obstacles to navigate around. The lake is still drained due to issues with the dam.

Our stay was quiet and enjoyable! The site we occupied #14 was well equipped with full hook ups plus local cable and fit our travel trailer (30' w/ living room slide) and tow vehicle perfectly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks to Brandy the service attendant during our stay.
