Ruby and Robert were excellent hosts. They gave us the royal treatment. They were very friendly and accommodative. We appreciate my sister recommending this RV park. We look forward to staying here in the future and highly recommend it.

This campground is run by people that are ready to help you and make sure you are happy! They are very accommodating. The bathroom is always clean and neat.

Stayed in a couple's cabin. All was great except bed does not comfortably sleep two as is advertised. Need to upgrade size of bed and I will give you a ten.

Friendly. When we were there, it was very wet, but understand they had a lot of rain. Sites were very level, on a pad.

What a find! After all the many years we have been coming to Starkville to support our Bulldogs, we have truly found a gem of a place! Of course a lace is only as great as the pull who are hosting you and Ms Ruby and her husband are the best! If you’re camping or are lucky enough to catch one of the wonderful cabins available, this is a great place.

Staff was very friendly. Deluxe cabin is nice. On the downside, cabin is but too expensive to stay more than one a year. Also, the Lake flooded and we had to wade through knee-high water to and from the cabin. That’s not a huge deal as that is an act of God and probably will never happen again in my lifetime.

This would be a great park if you had kids. There looked to be tons of fun things to do. They had water slides and a beach. We were just psssing thru and they were having to deal with flooding but we were high and dry. Would stay here again for sure. The office personnel was very friendly but kept us waiting for quite a while she was on the phone with 2 different calls.

Convenient location. Nice facilities but not being kept to KOA standards. Restrooms not cleaned for days. Leaf debris in several shower rooms. Noted a soiled face cloth left behind in shower room. Three days later it was still there. Maybe it's just "off-season" but it's still KOA - and this was the most expensive park we visited on this trip.

Great campground on a very pretty lake! Management is wonderful and delivered free firewood! Super great folks! Altough still very picturesque, the lake Levee is in need of repair by the county and there is no fishing or boating right now. Buy very quiet and pretty!

Campground staff were very friendly and communicative throughout the stay. Mrs. Ruby and Mr. Robert were great in making sure we were set for our stay there and that we had what was needed at our sight. The sites were nicely kept up and the view of the lake was awesome. The only wish would be to have another bath house/comfort station. There was only one on site and on the back side of campground.

Ms. Ruby and Robert are extremely friendly and welcoming! Campground and restrooms are very clean. Robert gave us firewood and even built and started a fire for us .... in all our stays at campgrounds, we have never been given firewood, nor had anyone build a fire for us! He stopped by to see if everything was okay .... we will definitely go back if in the area!

If you want to stay in the Starkville area, this KOA is the best location. Ruby and Robert make you feel right at home. It’s also convenient to campus events. You can get anywhere on campus in 10 minutes. We are sold on this camp!

We rented a deluxe cabin with a screened in porch and deck that had everything included, dishes, towels, bedding. The cabin was very clean and looked brand new on the inside. Ms. Ruby Howell and her husband were very friendly and helpful. She looked up the funeral info for us and he brought us some firewood for the fire pit. Skip motels, stay here!

We Broke down about 45 miles from this KOA and needed to be towed in after hours, Robert drove up as we came in and set us up with not only a perfect easy in site but also recommended a local mechanic who had us back on the road in a couple days. He also suggested an alternate route to the one we had planned. It was much quicker and easier. We will stay with Ruby and Robert twice a year now.

We arrived late for an overnight and the manager Ruby and her husband were very pleasant and helpful. Facilities were very clean, lots were large and we had a FHU pull through overlooking the lake. It was very quiet late November but I expect summertime is busy and fun for families with a beach.. Would definitely stay here again.

Really appreciated the scenery on the lake. Cabin was well maintained as this is the 2nd time we have stayed. Only thing stopping me from staying again is the price. $175 a night is too high for winter time. I’m only staying because I hunt near by and had guest come in. I stay 7-9 days at a time. If this is negotiable I would consider staying again.

We had a great site with a large patio and fire ring that was very easy to get in but a little challenging to pull out on departure day. Lots of directional signs a little too close to the narrow road turned into extra obstacles to navigate around. The lake is still drained due to issues with the dam.

Our stay was quiet and enjoyable! The site we occupied #14 was well equipped with full hook ups plus local cable and fit our travel trailer (30' w/ living room slide) and tow vehicle perfectly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks to Brandy the service attendant during our stay.
