Camped in the primitive site with two motorcycles. Site was well maintained, and camp set up was a breeze. Very clean bathhouse facilities. The road to the sites is gravel for anyone on a motorcycle, but was stable enough to ride on. Will definitely be visiting again!

Campground was well kept. Ruby and Robert were wonderful hosts and were able to accommodate us at the last minute.

Loved it, other then the weather, which was your doing, friendly staff and as a person from the city wild life is not at the top of my list. Felt totally safe. If i take my dog to ME again. KIA would be my 1st choice to stay thank you Mrs Betty and Mr Robert yall were more the helpful.

Amazing hosts! Nice and quiet campground with a beautiful lake. The restrooms and showers were very clean and well stocked! If I am ever thinking about camping near there again I wouldn’t hesitate staying here.

Office personnel and ground's keeper were friendly and acted in a professional manner when we checked in. They made sure all our needs were meet. The grounds and office, washroom area were very clean and inviting to use. We will definitely recommend anyone to stay there. They will be well treated!

Great little campground in MS. Close to Mississippi State. We came to tour the college on a college road trip. The husband/wife team was fabulous. So very hospitable. We will definitely be back!!!!

It had rained a lot just before we arrived. There were lots of puddles no one could change. Fortunately we were on a concrete so it was only a an inconvenience where we walk our dog.

Love this place. Ducks, geese, and a bald eagle that nests just across the lake from the campground.

WOW, true southern hospitality at Starkville KOA. Arrived late and upon arrival Ruby and Robert waited for us. Showed us our site and ensured all hookups were working properly. Had fresh cut firewood delivered everyday. They checked on us everyday to see if we needed anything or had any issues. Had fresh hot coffee every morning available. Beautiful view of the lake and surroundings.

I love Ruby and Robert, which is a major reason we return every year. They go out of their way to make your stay incredible. The sites are well kept and very clean as are the facilities. They are there to help in every way to make booking, check in, and set up a breeze. 5 Star folks.

Can't say enough about this beautiful place and Mrs. Ruby and Mr. Robert are awesome. I felt so at home there and Ms. Ruby put me in the best spot! Mr. Robert check my tires before leaving and filled them up. Can't wait to go back.

Well maintained and clean facility. The campground hosts, Robert and Ruby are the best hosts I have dealt with at any campground anywhere. They treat you like family. They go out of their way to make sure everyone enjoys their stay. This is a very nice campground to relax.

Weather was nasty and standing water everywhere from all the rain. Would love to try it again when the weather is better. Very nice people who run it.

We camped at Starkville Ms KOA on our way to Gulf Shores Al and on our way home. The managers, Ruby and Robert, could not have been any more hospitable and friendly. Robert gave us his cell number to call if we needed assistance.They actually had soup and corn bread ready when we arrived on our way home and invited us to dinner, it was wonderful.We will return there for sure.Well kept camp.

We arrived without a reservation, but had no problem getting a site. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating. I think that, when the lake is full, it would be a lovely campground.

Ruthie and Jim were out of the office upon my arrival but left directions to my site in the late arrival box. After pulling in and getting my utilities connected, they came to my site to greet us personally. Jim brought us firewood and even helped get a campfire started. The site and restrooms were spotless clean. Looking forward to staying again when passing through Mississippi.

The cabin was exceptionally clean and I am quite picky. I needed fridge space and an oven since I was preparing several dishes for Christmas. It exceeded my expectations and we were very comfortable.

We had a great site with a large patio and fire ring that was very easy to get in but a little challenging to pull out on departure day. Lots of directional signs a little too close to the narrow road turned into extra obstacles to navigate around. The lake is still drained due to issues with the dam.

Our stay was quiet and enjoyable! The site we occupied #14 was well equipped with full hook ups plus local cable and fit our travel trailer (30' w/ living room slide) and tow vehicle perfectly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks to Brandy the service attendant during our stay.
