Clean restrooms, quiet park, close to MSU campus. What’s not to love?

The campground was fairly quiet for the most part. They offer WiFi, but it’s pretty much nonexistent. The sites are not very big, but it suited ours needs for a couple of nights. I wouldn’t stay here if we weren’t in the area for other reason.

This was our second stay here, and we were very pleased again. Friendly, helpful check-in. P-9 was a nice, level concrete pad with a great set of patio furniture. Dog-friendly. Definitely coming back to stay again!

Mia was super helpful and kind!!! If WiFi states it is included it needs to work. As a camper pulling in expecting to have WiFi and then told we are to far from the signal, is not acceptable!

Very helpful staff. Came in a little late and was met by a staff member that helped me locate my site and made sure we were backed in and set up for our stay. Definitely would stay here again. Oh and they have complimentary fire wood.

We did a quick overnight stay here while traveling through. The young lady at the office was very nice and helpful. The park roads and sites are gravel and level. If you are stopping to do anything with the lake is drained at this time. We did not look at any of the facilities as this was only a quick stop. Very easy to get to and will accept big riggs.

It was quiet and enjoyable. Site #14 fit our travel trailer (30’ living room slide) perfectly and the staff was very friendly.

We pulled in for just an overnight stay at Starkville KOA, and wished we could stay longer. It is in such a peaceful country setting, and very quiet at night. Everything was clean and grounds were well kept. The bathrooms were nice and clean and had good showers with hot water. Hope it’s on our route in the future, because we would definitely book another stay- a longer one next time!

I really like the hostess, she’s friendly and outgoing. I do wish the WiFi would work, it’s been 3 stays with no WiFi. It’s not a killer but is inconvenient. Nice peaceful site and I will continue to stay there when in the area.

Nice quiet park. We stayed only one night. Our pull through site was barely long enough for our 43' Class A and tow car. But park was not crowded, so it didn't cause us any issues.

We stayed at the Starkville KOA the weekend of the MSU vs Alabama football game. The campground and the bathrooms are very clean and well kept. The host was super friendly and helpful, even offering to get firewood for us. A very pretty setting with lots of shade. Hopefully the lake dam will be fixed soon and the water will return in the lake. Highly recommended!

We were pleasantly surprised. Even though the lake and beach area are not useable, the campground was good! The manager went out of her way to help us get a hanging limb away from our slide. The roads are a little narrow for a big rig but it was manageable. We stayed two nights to attend the football game. Convenient to downtown. We stayed on site 15 which was spacious for our toad.

nice grounds, especially if the lake comes back. Baths were clean, but mud dawber nests were on the wall of the shower. The store was closed at 5 PM, even though it says open till 6. Chek out took 20 minutes.

Awesome place! Very nice and well taken care of. Pads are level. Very close to MSU and staff is really nice.

The bathrooms and showers were the cleanest I’ve ever seen at any facility. It was really sad to see pictures of how active the site used to be with the water park. We wanted a simple spot as we were traveling home from the beach and wanted a place to rest. The office closed at 5 even though the sign said 6 but I understand staffing is difficult with Covid.

Pleasant stay, quiet and close enough to town for shopping. Host are friendly and attentive. Our home KOA will be back frequently.

What a lovely campground! Lots of trees and nice gravel or cement pads for your RV. The bathrooms are clean, the grounds are well kept, and the staff is great! We would go back to this camp and just relax overlooking the lake.

We had a great site with a large patio and fire ring that was very easy to get in but a little challenging to pull out on departure day. Lots of directional signs a little too close to the narrow road turned into extra obstacles to navigate around. The lake is still drained due to issues with the dam.

Our stay was quiet and enjoyable! The site we occupied #14 was well equipped with full hook ups plus local cable and fit our travel trailer (30' w/ living room slide) and tow vehicle perfectly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks to Brandy the service attendant during our stay.
