Kind and helpful staff. Streamlined check-in process. We had a cabin and an RV site and the staff was sure to put up close to each other without me having to ask. It is sad that the lake has no water right now, but we were assured that there is a plan to restore it in the near future. We always stay here when coming to see our daughter at MSU and we have never been disappointed! Highly reccommend.

I hate that the lake is dried up. Campground was very clean and well maintained. I have already suggested it to others. We got there after hours and was able to get a spot that worked out very well for us. And of course paid for it next day. Thanks for the convenience. Richard and Peggy Lewis

The daily rate is higher they the market. The Dryer was $1.75 just to get it started most are only 25 cents. No swimming pool no black top roads all gravel. 7 plus miles to a gas station.

There was nobody to check us in and our reservation was not left in the after hours section even though we arrived around 6:009 pm. We were told ahead of time that we were assigned a specific spot but someone was in it. We just picked an available spot and used it. We were just overnighting.

We have two big dogs. Great place for them, clean and nice. Will use this place again, if we return home the same route.

Gave 3 stars with caveat. The park itself in nice, well kept and spacious. The issue is that the pics and description are that of a water park theme and this is patently false. These pics should be removed. There is no water park. The lake associated with the water park has been completly empty for 5 years. Other than that small item it's a nice park. Nice staff also and clean bathrooms.

We have stayed for the weekend to get away. Premium spot, lake side view. The cost was extra for this spot. Once we arrived we noticed the lake was completely gone and drained due to a levy leak issue. So, no lake and all over grown. When checking in we asked if there was a discount because we had hopes of fishing/ kayaking/& lake views when we booked. No discount would be given. Won’t return.

Had to cut limbs down to back in. Unable to use the utilities because our slideout didn’t fit the pad and had to park farther back. Two piles of leaves on the site. Didn’t get a refund when I cancelled the 2nd night.

No onsite rep after dark, Or at least that we could find. We had about ten vehicles, not campers pull in front of our site about 1230 in the morning, having a party. Woke us up and left a mess. We had the premium drive through spot for our RV, the cable coax hookup on the pad is broken. Other than that nothing special, just middle of the road as far as a facility.

Beautiful clean park, level sites, friendly service close to Mississippi State yet far enough to be completely quiet We’ll be back anytime we’re in this area

Campground is not clean and overgrown. There is absolutely no one onsite after hours and the campground is wide open to anyone who wants to enter. Having the police walking around with flashlights at night is not a comforting sight. The police knocked on our motor home to ask if we were there earlier in the week! Glad they were there, but what the heck? Stay elsewhere. NOT a good KOA experience!

The camp site was very quite. Because the lake is no more there is no swimming , We were using this location for over night while we did local history sites. It was good for us and for that.

The site was fine. We had a live ground at our site, the grounds were unkept, and there was garbage at the playground. The worst part however, was there was no lake and no Waterpark. Upon further inquiry the lake has been dried up for several years due to a levy break.

15 minutes to Natchez Trace. Lake was drained. Nice trees. Someone should really check/empty fire pit of all the cigarette butts. The Metzler Family Geneva, Ohio

Was surprised to find the lake dry. Had expected a scenic lake view, not dirt and weeds. Campground and restrooms are clean.

Website states lake site views however there’s no lake...Also email confirmation states Your GPS will take you to wrong location where in fact our GPS took us eight to the campground. Very confusing directions

This campground is nice and quiet, easy in and out and well kept. The staff is nice and very helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we had all we needed. Mr Robets even gave gifts for my children and set a Camp fire up for us. No water in the lake right now but we didn’t need it. All was great and we will stay again.

The lake no longer exists. The campsite was in the blazing sun and with practically no one there someone was put right next to us. We were told the bathhouse was open but it was locked up. The owner was very nice and we realize the lake being gone is not his fault.

Very friendly staff. Quiet, clean and attractive campground, with pretty surroundings. Shame about the lake, but I did enjoy the wildlife on the wetland.

Circumstances of a flooding problems the lake was drained , we booked lake view with great sunsets paid extra and there was no lake ... no pool , , no activities, no bikes they did have a small swing set , very poor representation of a KOA

We were here for one night while making a trip. It was perfect for this purpose. We were in a premium pull-through and it was just long enough to keep the truck hooked up. They had no shade until very late in the day. Only clean facilities were in the back of the campground. Kids loved the playground. Lake is dry. Would stay again while transiting.

This campground is absolutely nothing like the pictures show...there is NO fishing..No paddle boats..NO LAKE!! The lake is completely dried up. We were looking forward to going fishing after a day of traveling only to pull in and see no water...it doesn’t seem like this just happened recently either which means they are false advertising. It might have been nice at one time but not anymore.

The 30 amp plug had a live wire lucky we had a surge protector and an adapter for the 50 amp plug we weren’t impressed with all the cigarette butts left on the site we used either we stayed in a pullthur #3

Open during difficult times, the young lady who checked me in was very cordial and efficient. She gave me good recommendations about places to eat both evenings and I liked both places.

The parks web site said it had a water park,on a lake with boat rental, fishing pirer,beach volleyball.come to find out the levy on the lake broke more than 3 years ago so none of the above mentioned were there the lake is dried up.we were very disappointed to pay a premium price of $45 a night to look at a mud hole.P.S we were there for a week and the only koa personal was 1 person in the office.

Nice, clean park. Disappointed that the lake is almost dried up, family was planning on fishing & kayaking just to get there and not be able to do either. Never received a receipt, the girl who checked us in said it would be emailed but still haven’t received it. Over all, a good place if not able to get in any where else or an over night stop.

I stayed in a pull thru site next to the lake which was considered a deluxe site and more expensive than other sites. I was not informed prior to arrival that the lake had been drained and I arrived to a beautiful view of a cracked lake bed. The power provided at my site showed reverse polarization and an open ground. I did not have an emergency number to call the campground electrician.

This is a beautiful place. We saw a bald eagle fly down and catch a fish. The staff member who greeted us was friendly. The internet isnt strong but that isnt why you shd go to this place. If you are nearby stop in. The natural beauty and general lanscape is very peaceful. FYI google map will take you on an adventure getting there so check with the facility for best route.

We are monthly renter and do not feel KOA is advertised properly. The water park area has not been open since we have been there, this will be our 3rd summer. The road to the park is closed, not KOA’s fault but an inconvenience. The WiFi that is advertised is not good at all. I grew up camping and staying at KOA’s but I remember them being more than this one. We are looking to relocate

Quiet, very difficult to get the cap off the drain, no one available to help. Offered to move us, however we were mostly set-up. Continued to pry on it and finally got the cap off. It appeared someone really stomped on it to close it.

We had a great site with a large patio and fire ring that was very easy to get in but a little challenging to pull out on departure day. Lots of directional signs a little too close to the narrow road turned into extra obstacles to navigate around. The lake is still drained due to issues with the dam.

Our stay was quiet and enjoyable! The site we occupied #14 was well equipped with full hook ups plus local cable and fit our travel trailer (30' w/ living room slide) and tow vehicle perfectly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks to Brandy the service attendant during our stay.
