Riverfront site was perfect! Staff super helpful and friendly and the bathrooms were very clean. The biggest plus was the location. It was easy to go in any direction a few miles and find all sorts of things to do. Kayaking, hiking, sightseeing McCaysville, Copperhill, Ellijay, Hiawassee, waterfalls, and Brasstown Bald all easy trips in a day. Would definitely stay again.

Checking in w all the rules and regs I felt as if I was going to a prison and then more text about laundry and being nice to each other. It was hot, hot, hot and possibly after the trees put out it will be better. Site was gravel and definitely not level.

We are sorry you did not enjoy your visit with us. To ensure the safety of everyone who stays with us, our campground, like other campgrounds, has rules. We are a new campground and the trees are not fully grown. Hopefully you were able to enjoy at least some part of your stay with us.

I would have given 5 stars and very likely but..... I went to lunch with my sister, who has a cabin near the campground, when we returned we explained to the guy at the tent she was just dropping me off. He would not let her enter without going in paying $5.00 and registering. He could have watched her and monitor her exit, but instead of being flexible in this case; I had to walk to our site.

Thank you for coming and staying with us. In order for all campers and their guests to enjoy their time with us we do have a visitor fee. We do hope you were able to enjoy your time camping on the Toccoa River.

We were only there for one night with other traveling friends. The facilities and utilities were new and quite good. Even with the KOA Member Discount the sites were somewhat pricey but not terribly so. The site employees were considerate and helpful. We will likely stay there again.

Staff was great. Camp was very clean and well kept. Lots to do in the area. We stayed at a site that backed up to the river and it was beautiful. We have already booked another trip in November.

Pavilion downspouts drained into our campsite and flooding the area where the water/electric hookups are. Avoid site 29.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The downspouts in the pavilion are piped underground and drain well behind any of our campsites. We are on flood plain and when we get a ton of rain, it does take some of the sites longer to drain. That being said, the pavilion downspouts would not have caused any flooding on your site, site 29.

From the time we pulled into parking lot to leaving the staff was awesome. The way they maintain their park I have never seen the care they give each campsites as people leave to make sure the next camper has a great clean site. We will be back cannot say enough how much we enjoy the campground.

We really enjoyed our stay. One suggestion. If you build another bath house make it individual rooms with shower, commode & vanity. Make them unisex. We stayed at some campgrounds that had those and they were wonderful. One was especially equipped for handicap at each site . It is great when you have small children, as it is large enough to give them a shower and then the next one can go ..

i would rate this koa 5 stars but for one thing. we have relatives in blur ridge and they came to see us the last night we were there to say goodby. they were there about a half hour and we were charge 5.00 dollars a person for them to come into the campground. that is not customer friendly.

As usual, we had a very pleasant time. I will have to remember for the future that I will need a 25 foot power cord extension due to the power box being at the front of the site.

This was out very first Stay at a KOA. The all the staff were friendly and helpful. This KOA itself was super nice and clean. They had a pool, horse shoe. You could walk long the river. We visited thw near by town and the museum. We saw lots of river rafters along the way. Would like to come back and do some fishing and kayaking. Thanks to the wonderful staff.

It was a nice clean campground, It needs to have pathway signs so people don't walk through campsites to go to the river. We were a little disappointed that there was nothing on site for the kids to do except the swimming pool and it was a very small pool. No activities planned for families like some of the other KOA's have. We were told check in time was 3 but saw a lot of people check in earlier

We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We are currently short staffed, and while we would love to provide daily activities, do not have the staff to do so. We do have weekend events. The next time you visit, please call around noon, and we will see if we can accommodate an early check-in.

We really enjoyed staying at Blue Ridge KOA. Very friendly/helpful staff and hosts. On a scale of 1-10, we rate this KOA at 100 in all areas: cleanliness, appearance, staff/hosts, access to area activities, etc. We hated that we couldn't stay longer, but definitely will be returning!!

Had a great experience here for a short fishing trip. Very friendly people, nice facility and great location right on the river. We will be back again.
