Couldn't control the rain. Didn't make it into the store. Dog park had muddy/wet entrance. Many people didn't pick up their dog's waste. Hate that.

due to recent rains the grassy areas and playground were either muddy or under water. This would be a fine place for 1-2 night stay but for longer term or if had kids would find place with more/nicer for them to be involved in

We only stayed over night on our way home, but it was a great facility and the Wi-Fi was the best we had on our entire 2 week trip.

It was pretty small & quant but very clean. The lady working the desk (I wish I could remember her name) was extremely friendly & helpful. If we’re ever traveling through Topeka in the future, I wouldn’t hesitant to stay there again.

With the exception of the ROUGH incoming gravel road, it is a beautiful campground. First campground I've seen where the side by side campers shared the hookups on the same side. Very close. But facing the opposite way??

We had mechanical problems and they didn't hesitate to find us a spot and promise it to us as long as we needed it. As an old farm boy I enjoyed all of the antique machinery they have on display. As someone who does not live in tornado alley, it was assuring that they had an easily accessible storm shelter.

Understaffed. Camped on a Friday night, campers next to us had people visiting who parked on the grass, let a pitbull approach us (it was dragging a leash). A German Shepherd also approached us ( no leash). Our dog was on leash at all times and our friends parked at the office as requested by staff. Two or three other dogs running loose. Campsites too close you are packed in Luke sardines in a can

Beautiful grounds and very well maintained. Perfect location to see the sights around the area. We stop here every time we are crossing the country.

Nice site and clean. Need to repair the road leading into the site but this is not KOA's fault as it is not their road. Liked the multiple ponds in the front when you arrive.

Although all services and stay was ok it was very noisy due to road traffic. This wouldn’t be my 2nd or 3rd choice for staying for multiple days. I’d rather stay at a rest area. My reception although completed seemed to be hard because space was not know you be occupied or empty. It’s not a very big RV Park and no help with actually seeing what was available.

It was a great day, I live in Topeka and this was a fantastic get away for the day! It was clean and quiet.

I stayed by myself in what was called the Bunk House. It had a small comfy leather couch, tv, table for 4, and 4 bunk beds which could fit 6 people. WiFi was available when I needed it. Comfy, clean little place. I really enjoyed it.

Review for pull thru site. Gravel pads are so far out of level that it was impossible to level a 35 ft. Class A. Right front wheel was approximately 4 inches low. Gravel is not solid, mud mixed in, resulting in jack pads sinking in even with auxiliary pads under the jack. Another Class A next to me had the same problem.

Great campground. We stayed 5 nights, and after the first 3 days of constant 40 mph wind gusts. They were very accomidanting and moved us to an area with less wind. The owners and staff are the best.

good park for an overnight stop. Sites are a bit narrow and boulders at the edge of some turns make it difficult to navigate. Personnel were very nice and helpful.

Pull through site was excellent, seasonal and daily was close together, walking paths would be nice, lots of road noise but expected with easy access to freeway.

For $70.00 per night, I expected a much nicer park. Our home park in Texas is $54.00 and the sites are paved as well as the road. Very overpriced.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The site was actually 43.90. the remaining charge was for a KOA value kard charge.

Not much to say other than it looked like a nice RV park. We stopped here overnight, arrived in the dark and left early in the morning. Didn't get to site see.
