The camp ground was clean and welcoming. The barn was so neat to see and we loved playing games inside the barn!! The camp host was really friendly and helpful. We would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to camp!!

Too much road noise-which I should be use to given many of the KOA's locations. I'll stay in the Lawrence KOA on future trips.

Love Capital City, a Journey KOA, great place to stop over on travels! Saltwater pool in the summer, always have clean bathrooms. Quiet to sleep in tent or RV.

Fantastic stay! One of the best KOAs we have camped at across the country. Clean, immaculate bathrooms, shower, laundry room, and indoor entertainment area, all of which were housed in a very cool turn-of-the-century barn! Tent site was beautiful and spacious and had its own (level) picnic table, light pole, and fire pit. Most impressive was the idyllic pond and beautiful landscaping. Awesome!

Very clean campground with nice amenities. Ponds for fishing, 2 were algae covered, but still nice.

Probably the cleanest, prettiest and friendliest KOA I have been to. We used the tent area and couldn’t have been happier.

All the staff we met during our stay were very thoughtful and kind. The grounds were extremely well kept. It was easy to relax and enjoy our time there. We will return to stay again, this is a nice local get away for our family and I will recommend it to anyone who enjoys camping.

Facilities were clean, staff friendly, tent sites were level and clean. Would definitely go back! The game room was fun too.

Only 1 shower for entire campground so unable to use before a long day of driving. Tent spot had no car access which wasn’t expected. Booked a tent spot with electrical outlets but it was unusable due to plastic being jammed in the socket. Campground was however very clean and after hours check in was easy.

Given the only site without shade even no other tent site was reserved! The hayrides were not going. Had to overhear the AAA discount from other guest & then I asked about it & then discount applied. No coffee in the AM in office despite the limited hrs. of any assistance if one would need. Both checkin & checkout times the office is closed. Self checkin & out process is expected here I guess.

I’m just traveling through and the site was easy to find, the light was so awesome because I got there late and it just was a beautiful stay. Thank you!

This is a really nice KOA Journey, but since it's a Journey campground it is very close to a major road so there is a road noise. We were tent camping so the traffic noise was very noticeable. There was also a very loud train that came within earshot of the campground. The train horn woke me up at 11pm, 12pm, and again at 1am.

My kids had a great time running around the ponds finding frogs, and there was a whole family of bunnies racing about. The bathrooms and shower were conveniently located, but we arrived too late to enjoy the pool or game room.

Absolutely loved the tent sites near the pond, bathrooms were VERY clean, the barn/game room was great, and the staff were excellent. Would love to return

Who doesn't love the sound of fireworks at 3am after driving for 12 hours. It was not a restful stay. We won't be returning to this koa.

When we checked in we inquired if the ducks still roam freely throughout the tent area. We were told the fowls were geese! We had to navigate the droppings and perform a through cleaning on our tent, ground cover, and our shoes. So, chances are we will avoid this KOA in the future.

The employees were very friendly, the tent site we stayed at had great views of the ponds and we even got an unexpected air show from a nearby airport. The bathrooms were much cleaner than other campsites we stayed at.

One of the nicest facilities I've stayed in. Grounds are immaculate, ponds are nice, pool is nice. The hosts are incredibly friendly.

Staff (owner?) was amazing! Very accommodating! Site was beautiful - scenic! I highly recommend the tent camping here - all grass, on the edge of a pond - so it seemed cooler than the RV sites. Restrooms, pool and rec room were clean and inviting! Highly recommend!!

We had a beautiful spot right by the pond. The tent site was close to all the amenities and you were not too close to other tents.

The campsite was beautiful. The ponds were stocked and definitely the highlight of our stay. The kids caught fish after fish. Bathrooms were extremely clean and everyone was helpful.

Such a beautiful experience!! We had the best time and the people were so nice and comforting!! Not to mention, the most adorable views and amenities! We will definitely be back in the future.

The campground and one employee we met was nice, no complaints there, but the campground is located immediately next to a huge highway and it sucked trying to sleep next to it in a tent. We also had really bad neighbors that cut into our sleep several times throughout the night so bad that we hauled out at 5 o’clock in the morning. But it was nice to finally have a wood fire!

Beautiful and spacious campgrounds for tent campers right next to a pretty pond. Clean restrooms and shower. We have stayed here twice & plan to do so in the future!

The host checking us in was very nice and answered my questions about Kansas. Our kids loved fishing in the pond. The pool was also very nice and clean.

Short and sweet. What we saw were some nice campgrounds. The tent sites we were on were a little hard to distinguish, there weren't very many markers. But we saw the dog park and that was neat to see.

Arrived late and had a special request. I saw the managers putting some things away and they were more than nice and helpful in assisting me. Was very grateful to have pleasant experience at the end of a long day. Campground was very clean and quiet.

1 No water at campsite 2 flood light shining at our tent all night 3 picnic table on a 20° slope. items were constantly rolling off the table 4 overpriced campsite

Not much to say other than it looked like a nice RV park. We stopped here overnight, arrived in the dark and left early in the morning. Didn't get to site see.
