Friendly and helpful staff!! We stayed over the 4th of July weekend and extended our stay an extra two nights. Location is about 1/4 mile (walking/biking/drive) to Trinity Lake to hang out for the day. Definitely family friendly with lots of games in the KOA. Showers and bathrooms were kept clean and KOA staff came around to collect trash at your site. Highly recommended.

It was so comfortable stay there

The campground was really nice. The problems I had was that there is no swim beach for kids (especially annoying with the pool closed due to Covid-19) and the boat launch area is not paved. The are to the water is littered with stumps and large rocks made it hard to get around. Areas near dock are dense with sea weed and no swimming off dock it limited water play more as well. Great Camp Though!

The stay went well. However, some folks were allowed in the store (Guys on ATV's, no shirts, big beards, bought beer), It would also have been nice the schedule pool time. Last request is that it would be perfect if KOA went back to renting boats, Jet Skis, innner-tubes, wake boards and fishing gear. Public bathroom near the pool did not seem to be kept clean like the other ones, fyi...

Too crowded...road to marina is terrible and parking in dust...bathrooms not cleaned for 3 days.

The bathrooms were very poorly cleaned. Given the Covid-19 situation, I would have expected more than the past. What we got was much worse than the many times that we've stayed before. The men's bathroom soap dispenser didn't work for most of our stay, paper towels weren't refilled and the womens bathroom wasn't cleaned for a 36 hour period. Not Acceptable!!

The staff at check in and the store were awesome. Super helpful with check in and booking for next year. We had amazing weather so that was a huge plus. Have already started planning for next year.

We have been coming to this kampground for the last 25 years for the fourth of July and it is always nice to see that it is being well cared for. My wife grew up in Weaverville so she has been coming for her entire life.

My sons and I enjoyed Trinity Lake KOA from June 27 to July 5 and had an excellent time. The camp hosts and staff made every effort to keep campsites and restroom/shower facilities clean, especially considering Covid-19 challenges, despite a few "messes" made by less-than-courteous restroom users... We look forward to our return trip next year which we have already booked for 2021.

We loved our site, #107. The campground was clean and we were so pleasantly surprised that the quiet hours were adhered to (even on 4th of July weekend!)... that almost never happens at a campground. :). We really enjoyed our stay and how family friendly it was - perfect place for your kids to ride their bikes around.

We had a short, first time RV camper, stay. We enjoyed the convenience of the site, the campground amenities and the nearby lake. Our camping neighbors were very friendly and evenings were nice and quiet. I especially liked the dog playground as our dog almost refuses to do his business on leash. Overall a good experience!

Bathrooms were not kept clean, no paper towels, very dirty

Stay was good, our hook up clogged(dump from traile0r but you gave us another outlet so it was fine.Your staff was nice, friendly and helpful. My only concern was that there were several large groups that were having large gatherings with zero protection during the pandemic. They took over an entire area, didn't wear mask, and blocked the roadways. I was extremely uncomfortable with this.

Trinity Lake KOA is AMAZING. We will definitely be back. We booked a preferred plus campsite and were blown away. Not only was the site super spacious, but it came with 2 hammocks, camping chairs, a coffee kettle, charcoal grill and an extra side table. We also were walking distance to the lake with beautiful views. Staying within the shade of the Pines was peaceful and cool!

It was very nice. Was expecting the cabin to be more cozy. But it was just fine after all! Thx so much

We played mini golf, boochi ball, corn hole, went for walks. Never made it to the lake. Next time.

The staff are always very courteous and accommodating. The camp is well kept and the store always meets our needs. Can’t wait for next summer.

Our family had the best time at this clean, friendly, accomadating campground. Can't wait to go again!

Nice KOA. Would like to NOT recommend it to assure a spot for me next time. Everything clean. Good job!

I was very dissapointed that the Koa website stated the pool would be open starting Memorial Day weekend and when we went it was closed. They need to take off that it's open. I was so excited my kid would be swimming and tried swimming in nearby lake but was muddy and smelly. In addition on our second day in Cabin 10, the electricity went out and the outlet for coffee wasnt working. Need discou

I think closing the pool is not necessary. The combination of chlorinated pool and warm sun outdoors equals an environment that corona cannot survive in. I'm aware of elected idiots with political agendas, making rules that go well beyond their own knowledge, but I thought you would like to know what your customers think. Otherwise we love this campground and we will be back.

Had a wonderful family camping trip. So many fun things to do and a short ride or walk to the lake. Will definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay, my daughter was bummed the pool was closed, which we know is out of your control. We were glad we were with a friend with a vehicle able to access a place to swim at the lake. My only other thought/suggestion would be giving ppl the option to make "add-ons" to their camp for additional costs. Instead of Preferred Plus or not, start at a base rate with optional upgrades.

Family oriented, very nice campground and friendly people. Cell phones worked in camp too.

The good things: The cabin was clean for the most part, the walls in bathroom could be wiped down as well as a good scrub to the bathroom floor. It was well equipped with every thing u need to do basic cooking. The beds were comfortable. The bad things: Customer service was HORRIBLE. Just handed me keys and a bunch of papers and walked away! Will not stay here again.

We love the KOA at Trinity Lake. Our only issue is the lack of updates that are done inside the cabins. Fridges outdated. AC that doesn't really work. Showers much to small and water that doesn't heat up. There have been tons of updates outside and they are amazing. We need inside work done.

This is usually our favorite summer camp spot & go weekly! This year, with COVID 19, we have only been up this one weekend & now will NOT be back this summer! Almost nobody wore face coverings in the bathrooms, and the bathrooms were filthy! Not cleaned hourly, but barely daily! Campsites were crowded with large groups of people partying to 2:00 AM & having the manager talk to them did nothing!

Exceeded all of our expectations! Friendly staff, clean sites and plenty of fun!! Thank you for a great vacation!

Great place for a getaway. The people are awesome. The campsites are amazing

KOA was great but a little busy for COVID. Tent sites were very spacious

There was raw sewage running through our campsite from an uncapped sewer connection. KOA staff did a clean up, and capped the connection, but our site was smelly throughout our stay. I'm concerned about our exposure to the raw sewage.

The place is great but very crowded. The only issue especially now is you need to do a better job of cleaning bathrooms and sanitizing the area in general. My daughter didn't even want to use one bathroom because it was so dirty and I agree because the men's was about the same. Also you say the tent spots are sand...really? NOT sand dirt! Maybe sand 25 years ago.

Staff was great! The grounds were well maintained and our family had a great time.

We really enjoyed our stay, very nice shaded campsites, peaceful setting and well managed!

We visited the office/store to register, rent equipment and purchase snacks and drinks. Each of the staff members who helped us were extremely helpful and kind. We loved our stay so much that I've already booked another trip there.

The staff was awesome and saved us from a really rough weekend. While backing in my tent camper I smacked a root and bent part of my frame, which was in the crank area!!! We flagged down a staff member and asked if they and some tools or a come-a-long. They did!! After a hour of banging and wenching we were able to bend it back. Hoooray. Thank you so much KOA staff for having the tools. You rock!!

Clean bathrooms, kind employees, tent camp area was very clean and quiet. Out of all the Koa's we tent camped in from the Bay Area, CA to Seattle, WA this was a favorite and one we will definitely be booking with again.

Good campground. We stayed in cabin 103: one bedroom plus sleeper sofa in the family room. Included all the amenities of the decent hotel plus everything for barbeque and camp fire. One of the best cabins we stayed in. The Lake is one mile away and there is no swimming beach. We rented kayak for $25 and they brought to the lake on electric car. Campground included a small store with ice, drinks and other items. Water in the pool was refreshing. Cabins are located about 1000 feet away from the general campground and it is more quite.
