This was our 1st stay at a KOA. It was well maintained, organized, and well-run Resort. However, the reason for the 4 out of 5 rate I provided above was due to the particular slot we were provided on the corner. It was so tilted towards the street that we were unable to level out the RV to have a comfortable experience within. Although, I did notice most other lots were level.

Tons of activities, for all ages this place has everything and isn’t to far from the Hwy. the Staff is very helpful and interact with their guest. Definitely going to be must stop whenever traveling thru AZ.

Loved the fruit trees! Pool and hot tubs were very nice!! Hot tub did get very crowded with small children!! Sites were nice size!

When I made my reservation on line we were in the park. I went to the office to verify the reservation and indicated that we did not want to be under the solar panels. When we got there I asked not to be under the solar panels. I was told there was nothing they could do. Didn’t even look at reservations on computer. We loved this Campground. Staff is friendly, sites are very nice even the basic. So many things to do at the Resort. It's kept very clean and we enjoyed picking and eating the fruit from the trees at the sites. We booked to come back and stay again next year.

We appreciated our shaded grassy spot and the multiple dog parks for our pups to visit. The KOA was well maintained, secure and staff was friendly and helpful. The Rush BBQ Restaurante had great food and service too. Thanks for helping us with our weekend outing to Tucson.

friendly staff in office and all that I met. Bathroom by the 1600 spots dirty. one toilet leaked and one kept running the whole 4 days we were there. Staff did go in and clean bathrooms when office was notified and did eventually fix the leaking toilet. not sure if the one that was running all the time got fixed although they did go look at it. Very clean park with very friendly staff. I would like to have seen a site that was level so that I could use my automatic levelers. The road noise take getting use to and would prefer not to have it.

The staff was fabulous. I enjoy this park every time I come to Tucson. The location is perfect. Love the different citrus trees.but the thing that impresses me most is the staff

I wish there was a sign right next to hot tub saying no young kids. People do sneak into use tub and pool from around the area. Maybe a pass code to get into everything. All the employees were great though.

While not in the most beautiful part of town, the campsite is gated, our gravel site was plenty big and very level. The water hookup had two spigots which made it convenient to flush the tanks. Resort staff very friendly and accommodating; BBQ restaurant onsite had pretty good food as well as live music. Only minor downside was very close to airport, however airport not very busy before 08.00.

This is the best KOA park that we have stayed at during our last year and half of full time travel. Sites were very clean and spacious. Real resort feel with all the amenities. The fruit trees added a very nice touch. We liked that a lot of the people were either snow birds or full time RVers like us. It did not have that "trailer park" feel that some of the other KOAs have.

I got stuck at the alternate gate when leaving early discovering it being lock thinking it was motorized. Maybe a sign with hours posted may help others. Disconnecting the tow vehicle to backup and then reattach is a bit of a pain. Great park and great employees. Enjoyed the gas firepits too. Very clean park.

Another awesome KOA experience! We enjoy our stays here at the Tucson KOA. Our grandchildren get super excited when they hear we're coming back. They always have a great time. All of the staff are great and the facities stay well maintained year-round. Thankyou!

This was our fifth year and we are booked for a month next year. The one and only complaint I have is some of the landscaping. The grass could easily be over seeded in the fall with a winter mix that would look green all winter. The area around the flag poles looks especially poorly maintained. We invited some friends this year and they also mentioned it.

Loved the Activities sheet and the crew keeps the KOA clean. The restraunt serves ice cold beer and the BBQ is nice. We love the fresh citrus growing in the park. Great friendly staff. Keep up the great work and your facility an campground is great. Robert and Faith

Staff is very friendly and that makes a difference to all campers. Location not idyllic. Very close to highway. Wish i knew you could rent remote race cars when our grandson was visiting

Large sites, excellent amenities, friendly, helpful staff and a warm, welcoming community of guests! The area surrounding the campground isn’t terrific, but the greater Tucson area has much to offer.

It was one of the best parks we have ever stayed at. The staff was excellent, the park is kept clean and we loved the activities. I would highly recommend this facility.

Remind people to pick up dog poop. It seemed like there was a excessive amount laying around in the rocks. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Swimming pool was out of service the entire time of our visit/stay. Some mornings the toilet stalls ran out of toilet paper. Timing is everything, sometimes...

Just checked in today but so far the staff had been great, every thing is very clean and well kept, we ordered wood to our site and it was there before we even got back to out spot. I wish we had more time to stay and enjoy all the amenities.

I'm only rating the deluxe cabin stay- I have never stayed at an rv resort before this one. We normally stay in an air bnb when we travel. We have a large family so the deluxe seemed to be able to fit us all- however the bunk bed mattresses are pretty thin, and short. My 13 year old barely fit. When we arrived after 15 hours of traveling only wanting to get in bed to sleep, there were no sheets or bedding on the beds. Just plastic mattresses. We never did get enough fitted sheets- so the flat ones were constantly coming up on 3 of the bunk beds. :/ it was in the 30s at night so to have the heat on you had to turn the fan on and it blew and got too hot, but if you turned it off it was too cold- so kind of hard to regulate temperature but not awful. FYI- the “rock wall” is very short, just 8-9ft ceiling height. They had little peddle cars the kids could ride, pay by the hour of course. They had fun riding those around the park. The playground for the kids was very small with one slide but clean and my older kids actually got some use out of it for about 5 min. Over all it was clean and okay for a very short stay (3 nights) The front staff at the gate were very friendly and nice. I liked that it was gated. But for the price/ we will definitely plan ahead next time and do an Airbnb for about the same price.
