We were very impressed with the cabin we stayed in. Very clean and very comfortable. Had no down sides. The hosts were friendly and helpful. Have already shared with friends that this is a great place to stay!

We stayed in the A-frame and it met our needs. It's designed for two people, but there is only one chair? No BBQ grill but I rigged up one using the fire ring, stones, and a grate that we brought with us which was fine for grilling a little salmon. The wifi was super fast and there was plenty of hot water. The beds are firm, which is the way we like it.

The cabin was not what I was expecting at all…it was so much better. It was so cute and the linens were luxurious. I was so impressed. Comfy bed, wonderful shower, fat fluffy towels, etc. Very much appreciated.

The campground was very clean and quiet. Staff were very helpful and polite with any and all questions. After seeing what the other camp grounds looked like closer to town I'm glad we stayed here, much more private and spread out. Would highly recommend KOA.

We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins. Very comfortable. Cabins are being slowly renovated. The linens were nice and towels, etc. were new. My suggestion would be to improve upon the ‘fire pit’ and upgrade the TV, it was probably a 15” monitor. Mini fridge needs to be defrosted. The KOA was clean and kept up, I would stay here again.

We had to extend our stay by a day due to unforeseen circumstances. The only lodging available was a cabin normally rented for a minimum of two days. They bent over backwards for us and let us have a cabin for the extra night. Next time we go to Valdez, we will certainly stay at the KOA. Thank you folks for helping us out..

The cabin was very nice. We enjoyed our stay. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We liked the fact that there was a quite time beginning at 10 pm (I think). We would definitely stay at a KOA campground even if it wasn't in Alaska as we are from Virginia.

Lori and her staff are amazing! They went above and beyond with their customer service, wanting to make sure our stay was perfect. The playground was a nice added on bonus. We used the easy camping site, which was convenient, we didn’t have to bring anything but our sleeping bags. We can’t wait to go back next summer!

Very friendly staff. Very clean grounds and common bath house. Cabin was also very clean. Stayed multiple times and can’t be happier.

This trip to the KOA we found a General Manager that presented with a bad attitude. She appeared to be unwelcoming, full of accusations and possessed zero customer service or people skills. While trying to relax, We were often bombarded by spam texts, apparently sent to the entire campground community about speeding, equipment operations, pets off leash or the store/food truck being open.

The staff were great even with the tsunami advisory. They came out to all sites and gave us needed information and keep us updated the whole night. Outstanding and helped our nerves. They went above and beyond for our safety. Thank you so much. The cabin was nice and clean as well.

The cabin was adorable and exceeded our expectations. The campgrounds were clean and well maintained. I will absolutely be visiting again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the deluxe cabin. Not only was it immaculate, but the beds/linens were also very comfortable. The KOA communicates effectively with its guests, and we will definitely recommend this place to other folks. You cannot beat the location —just outside Valdez and its hustle and bustle but convenient enough to enjoy the town’s happenings.

The cabin was pretty good, but terrible smell every time you walk in! You need to take the carpet out. TV so small and in a bad spot. Bed was hard as a rock. Cabin nice, furnishings not so much. The grounds were nice.

The cabin was cozy and super clean. The bedding was very snuggly, beds were comfortable. It was greatly appreciated after many days of tent camping! Campground was quiet and clean also.

We stayed a total of three nights. One in a tent and two in a cabin. The cabin was nice, I was grateful to be able to warm up after a long, cold day on the water.

Valdez KOA was well maintained and a great layout. My husband just had a knee surgery, so it was really nice to have the option of renting the trailer instead of tent camping. I do feel like it was overpriced, but overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Had an awesome stay at Valdez KOA. Stayed at the campground several times with our RV, first time in a deluxe cabin. It was very nice. Highly recommend it.

My wife and I stayed in a cabin. The place was clean, private, cozy and very comfortable. Even with Covid restrictions the camp hosts were only a text message away and responded immediately. We Love Valdez KOA!

Absolutely loved our recent stay at KOA! We stayed in one of their Deluxe cabins which contained all the necessities to make our stay comfortable. The only issue we had was on our last day the toilet stopped up but no problem since the main restroom area for the camp was about 50 yards away. The staff was extremely courteous and there to help in anyway needed.

Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. This was a great place for our family to stay and will choose KOA over all of the other campgrounds for our future trips to Valdez. We even got a sighting of one of the “local” bears. Excellent experience, overal!

Absolutely amazing!!! Hospitality was 200% and the wildlife and scenary did not disappoint. I have lived in Anchorage for 16yrs and I can't believe I have never been to valdez...its such a hidden treat.

The cabin was cute, clean, and perfect size for a family of four. The staff was attentive and friendly and made sure e had everything we needed for our trip to Valdez! I’m definitely coming back again!

Rented a cabin for two nights. Very warm and comfortable. Bed was soft. Saw other people BBQ on their front porch. Kids tent camped outside. Went on a nearby boat tour of the Glacier and had a wonderful experience. Saw whales, black bear, seals, sea lions. Definitely looking forward to coming back and will stay here again.

The cabin was adorable. We used it for 3 adults for 3 nights and we even tried to extend our stay because we were enjoying our time. The bed and the pull out mattress were comfortable. It was extremely clean. The shower was updated and nice and has great water pressure. I will be staying again!
