Laurie is a great camp manager. The sites are roomy, neat and tidy. I liked that there were lights on every other camp post, by the drive way, to help with walking later in the day. The shower house was immaculate, clean bath mats provided for showers! Everything is organized and well documented. The camp ground was quiet and surrounded by trees with mountains towering overhead. Lovely place!

Manager did a good job informing campers about tsumuni warning and what and where to go if siren went off. Would like more space between sites bc we were too close and difficult to sit outside with two dogs. Manager was very accommodating and nice.

Clean campsites, good location between town and Allison Point where the fishing was amazing! We arrived late and our map and instructions were hanging on the door.

We stayed at the KOA campground this past rainy weekend. The place was clean and very well maintained. The cleaning person was cleaning the restrooms and showers continuously and the staff was very helpful with our needs and changes. This location is 15 min from city center. Please consider safety bars in a shower/bathroom to accommodate the elderly/handicapped. Thank you for our enjoyable stay.

Very nice and clean RV Park. Staff is absolutely wonderful. Lori ( camp manager )is the best!! Very professional, accomadating, and organized. I Highly recommend this campground to anyone whether you're looking for cabins, an RV or tent sites. It's kid friendly has a little dog park fenced in for dogs to run and play it has clean restrooms and showers, and a playland for children. Thank you KOA!!

The campground was clean. The host was friendly and very helpful. I liked that they didn’t clear all the trees. The price per night was fair. I didn’t like the size of the campsite. My awning was almost touching my neighbors camper and we were able to look into each other’s windows because we were so close.

The KOA was very nice. It was in a convenient location to enjoy Valdez and the surrounding area. The campground was clean. Lots of trees surrounding it. Nice laundry. People were very friendly.

It was a very clean campground. I just wasn’t too excited over the shower being cold. The water knobs are set to only turn on to a certain amount. The water was barley Luke warm. The hand washing faucets were very hot, which was nice! Just would like to have a warmer shower option. Other than that, very nice campground.

Everything was very nice and well maintained. I had lost my tool to hook up my stabilizer bars and the maintenance team lent me a wrench. Everyone was very friendly. I would rate 5* if we could pick our spot instead of assigned one. The campground was fairly empty but we were put right into the sun with no shade. Secondly, the RV campsite need to be a little wider.

The workers at the Valdez KOA are the best. They keep the grounds in top notch condition and are very helpful. Absolutely recommend!!!

Front desk help was so nice and welcoming. She answered all of our questions about Valdez. The campground is wonderful and clean, even has a playground set for the kids. Hot showers were nice as well! Definitely going to stay again next time we are in town.

The host, Lori, was wonderful. The registration process is straightforward and glitch-free. I like the express check in feature. The camp ground is clean, and the views of the nearby mountains very impressive. When the city suffered a quick power outage, Lori texted all the campers to let us know what had happened. Very efficient. I felt right at home in the camp ground.

Valdez KOA is our meeting favorite spot! The facilities were exceptional and the staff truly amazing! We are already planning our next trip down to Valdez KOA.

All the staff was beyond WONDERFUL! Accommodating staff, very helpful, informative, clean restrooms'/showers, and the campground was clean and spacious! We felt safe in the campground. The campground was well lite, but not invasive. I made three phone calls before choosing Valdez KOA, and each question was answered professional and in length so I understood fully. We're very happy we chose you!

We had an EXCELLENT time at the Valdez KOA. Hidden gem! Very friendly, helpful staff. Bathroom facilities clean — so nice to have a hot shower! We also really enjoyed the waffle food truck; a fun touch. Logistics were made easy with text message updates upon check-in, during our stay and when we checked out. All-in-all, we had an excellent stay and would highly recommend Valdez KOA. Thank you!!

KOA Journey TEAM is Fantastic!!!!! Jason, Kristin, Lori, et. al. made our stay the greatest!! We really appreciated the attention to detail throughout the KOA. The team is immediately responsive to guest needs and communications along with the timely notification of bear alerts. We also like the TEAM's daily presence on the golf cart/around the sites. Every year it gets better and better!! J&L

Camping at the Valdez KOA Campground was fun. Nice, large sites, and easy access to local areas. Great place for viewing bear activity, which was awesome. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay there again in the future.

Such an exciting trip! The hosts were fabulous and so very friendly. We had a few “visitors” of the furry kind, in camp, but they stayed on top of it and alerted game management when necessary.

Rented a cabin for two nights. Very warm and comfortable. Bed was soft. Saw other people BBQ on their front porch. Kids tent camped outside. Went on a nearby boat tour of the Glacier and had a wonderful experience. Saw whales, black bear, seals, sea lions. Definitely looking forward to coming back and will stay here again.

The cabin was adorable. We used it for 3 adults for 3 nights and we even tried to extend our stay because we were enjoying our time. The bed and the pull out mattress were comfortable. It was extremely clean. The shower was updated and nice and has great water pressure. I will be staying again!
