Easy to book on-line. Hosts followed up quickly to questions with either a text or call prior to our arrival. All facilities very clean. Loved our stay.

KOA Valdez is a relaxing and well kept campsite. It is convenient to town. It has the most natural setting than others in the area. We love it!

Extremely clean campgroung including the public bathrooms which was great to see especially through times of COVID-19. Super friends & professional staff willing to quickly help if needed, reachable by phone or in person. Location in perfect spot to access different areas, just minutes out of town which was nice to avoid traffic or too much noise, bike trail takes you all the way to town.

The best campground I have stayed at in Alaska! Bathrooms were constantly being cleaned all day, never saw one that wasn't. Looking very forward to staying again!

Spots are super close together, nothing like the pictures of the sites when booking online. Our neighboring spot came in at 1am and started making all sorts of noise, processing fish, drinking, and shining bright lights all around until WE had to tell them to be quiet. Based on spot size and being charged for every person beyond #2, kid/adult, will never recommend or stay at this or other KOAs.

It was great. The campground was quiet and the restrooms were very clean. Also the gentleman working was very kind, we spilled sewage from our dump tank hose on accident and he was very understanding and helpful. We couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you!!

This is still our go to place in Valdez. The owners and employees couldn’t be any nicer. They are so happy to assist in any way they can. They even went out of their way to check on and report on new health mandates as they arose closer to our reservation and helped to read through them to ensure our safety, the safety of others and to make sure we had a great time.The sites are spacious and cle

Great location, The camp hosts were wonderful and so friendly. I will be going back to that one. It's outside city limits which makes it quiet and it doesn't look like a parking lot type campground. Just amazing.

Very well kept campground! Owners are professional and courteous. Restrooms are cleaned very often. Information posted everywhere to assist with any questions you may have. Would highly recommend staying here!

The KOA staff is top notch. The location is a few minutes outside of town, away from the crowded rv parking lots there. The playground was fun for the kids. The restroom and shower facilities were clean and well-maintained. The main office may have the best souvenir selection in Valdez (Prospector was good too though). Free daily waste tanks pumping?? Enough said!

I would say the pictures need updated and are false leading. None of the back in spots look like that. The pictures make it look woodsy. We were crammed in like sardines and placed in the pull in spots but we were actually back to back in those spots with campers backing us. The private spots were for tents. There was 3 spots over by the woods that appeared larger and for RVs.

Love the trees and distance from the road. Not too far from town and makes a drive down Dayville Rd so easy you’ll be glad you took the time to see Valdez from the opposite side. Grab a fire ring from the office if your site doesn’t have one already- so easy. Clean, well maintained, friendly staff, and easily reachable even with Covid measures in place. Would recommend.

One of the best! Thank you so much for making our short stay so nice! Beautiful place with clean bath houses, wonderfully kept grounds accommodating children and pets safely. Staff was incredibly kind, helpful, and easy to find or contact and responsive!!

We stayed here over 4th of July weekend last year, and just finished a one week stay mid June. It was wonderful. The honeywagon was a lifesaver, the staff all so accommodating and friendly, and the views spectacular! We have 3 little girls and they had a blast playing in the rocks and well maintained grass! Highly recommend.

It was a very nice place to stay and convenient location to the town. I was a little disappointed that I had to pay extra for children over 6. Considering that your playground equipment was closed due to COVID and the fact that two of the children would not have been interested in playing in the playground. I’ve taken them to other places to camp and did not have to pay extra for them.

Rented a cabin for two nights. Very warm and comfortable. Bed was soft. Saw other people BBQ on their front porch. Kids tent camped outside. Went on a nearby boat tour of the Glacier and had a wonderful experience. Saw whales, black bear, seals, sea lions. Definitely looking forward to coming back and will stay here again.

The cabin was adorable. We used it for 3 adults for 3 nights and we even tried to extend our stay because we were enjoying our time. The bed and the pull out mattress were comfortable. It was extremely clean. The shower was updated and nice and has great water pressure. I will be staying again!
