Loved our deluxe cabin. Details of what was provided and what was needed was clear, only difference was coffee pot was to be provided and we had a instant cup coffee maker instead but coffee pods were provided. Our cabin was clean, cozy and perfect for our stay.

We wish we would have known about the burn ban before arrival, we paid for a deluxe patio spot and didn’t get to use the patio really at all. By the time we were able to have a fire it was down pouring and windy. The lady at check in was super nice but the other lady when we went back the next day made us feel like we were an inconvenience to her. Not sure how I feel about this location.

Nice and clean and well kept. Everything was in well kept condition. The views of the Alsea Bay were outstanding. Campsites were of decent size, with adequate privacy.

Love this campground and our favorite site. Just sad the land below was NOT purchased by KOA so now the guests have no access to the beach. And thank you for saving our favorite site after driving 1300 miles to get there.

Lovely, well situated little KOA campground, If you are lucky enough to get a site with a view of the bridge or Bay. Most of these require a smaller rig. Ours is 26 ‘. You can wander through marionberry bushes to a narrow beach with nice view of the Waldport bridge. Walk across the bridge and observe see otters carousing below. Have a lovely seafood dinner in Newport

I only had a couple of issues they had to do with the fires that had occurred in the Oregon area, No fires were allowed on the property, we had brought everything we needed to cook to use the grills that are on the property, it would have been great to have gotten a notice from the property to let us know. Then we decided to try and use the microwave in the cabin, but you cant use that with odors

We usually stay in more primitive camping areas, but this KOA is very convenient to visit family. The staff is friendly, the sites are well kept with full utilities, and the campground is quiet. The clean full utilities at each site is something we really appreciate. We will be back.

We've been coming here for years and always like the close proximity to the bay for crabbing. It's quiet - even next to 101, you can't hear the traffic at night. Comfortable spot to stay

We went to escape the smoke from the Santiam fire. We were able to reserve a spot Saturday for a Sunday arrival...no problem. Even with COVID, the campground was clean and the people were friendly. It was quiet and comfortable. Loved the view of the Alsea River, sea lions, and Waldport.

This KOA is a fantastic base location for exploring the beautiful Oregon coast. The campground is very clean. While the road noise was a bit of a detraction, overall Waldport KOA was a relaxing place to stay.

Not self contained and not by a bathroom was not fun. Guys working on water line in next spot gave us No privacy with that. No fire, no camp stove. Not how i wanted to spend my vacation. Place was clean. Staff very friendly. Price was higher than i thought for both nights.

Very friendly people and a well kept KOA. Great location for exploring the coast... lots of sights and fresh seafood nearby. We enjoyed the time we spent there.

Unfortunately we visited your park during the fires 9/2020, so we didn't get to use much of your facilities. My only complaint about your park is that there isn't enough privacy between sites and your showers really need to be updated. Yes we would visit again but only if we could get one of the view sights. Your staff is very nice and accommodating. Thank you.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The campground was very clean and generally well kept, except that the toilet and shower facilities should be upgraded.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin that was comfy and clean. The grounds were neat. The store was well stocked and see a personal or professional and friendly. The price was right and our stay was excellent.

Nice campground with some nice sites. Unfortunately we did not get one. The showers were great though. People were very friendly but were not too familiar with the area.The vegetation around the camp was overgrown, blocking some of the view sites and choking the short trail to the beach. All in all a nice wayside stay to visit Waldport and Newport.

Very clean accommodations. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We got to extend our stay easily. RV connections were just perfect for our huge 5th wheel. We will want to stay there again.

campground is very nice as are the people. We stayed in site 50 which was under low electrical wires and we never could get wifi and the tv reception was horrible.the bathroom/showers were clean but the floors were very dingy looking.Needing a very good scrubbing.We planned on staying another night but the smoke got so heavy the manager gave us a refund and we left for home. Office Should open 8AM

Great location, right by the Alsea Bridge. We drove up and down the Oregon Coast for several days; never far from anything. Do see the Sea Lion Caves, even though the sea lions were out to sea (Sept) still very cool. Campground could use a fenced in dog park though.

Everything was fantastic!! Fires and smoke from the fires was bad but couldn’t be helped. We would not hesitate to stay there again. Staff was very friendly and helpful. One of the better KOA’s we have been to.

Hard to beat the view at this campground. Right on a bluff overlooking Alsea Bay. Took their nature trail down to the water and had the bonus of collecting blackberries on the way back. A very nice place to stay!

We just enjoyed our 11th Labor Day weekend at the Waldport/Newport KOA! It always feels like we are coming home! Great memories with family and friends over the many years!

Love that we were able to find a spot! We are new to camping and this was our third trip. Appreciated the store on site that had exactly what we needed at a reasonable prices (3 trips!). They only down side was that the fire pit was so very close to the bushes/plants, we did not feel like it was safe to have a campfire. The bushes however were a nice sound barrier between sites!

I had never stayed at a KOA before this weekend. Considering the amount of messaging around COVID in the cabin I would have expected it to be cleaner. There was old food in the garbage can when I checked in, spider webs everywhere and beach sand all over the bed. Clearly not wiped down. I frankly didn't care about the extra sanitation but for the price? The bathrooms however, were super clean.

They would not accommodate having sites next to friends that were also staying at this campground, even though the site was empty. yet we found out from our neighbors that they were accommodated. Sites are very crowded with little privacy.

If you are traveling with someone please let us know and we can do our best to put you together. It depends on availability at time we know you are camping with someone. If you do not tell us we have no idea who you are camping with.

Good location to park a RV lots of sites. All sites are well kept has a restroom laundry and playground. Owners are friendly store is nice enjoyed my stay

This was one of the last trips my family and i took together. I pulled in hoping to find a sign and the facility over the years has had upgrades. It looked amazing. Great to see it once again!
