Our back-in site on the bluff was WAY too close to the edge for my comfort, and the site was unlevel toward the cliff side! There is no dog park here. Just a grassy area right next to the Hwy. unacceptable. The trail to the beach was cool though.

Out first time to a KOA. Our first time in a camper too! Was a very nice park. View of the bay was awesome. Thought the weather was not great. We knew it wasnt going to be a sun tanning weekend.

Outstanding setting on the bluff above Alsea Bay, one of the best locations for campsites on the coast. The grounds are well maintained. A later checkout time, or the option to check out later for an additional fee, like 1 to 2 PM would be nice.

A real nice campground, great location close to Newport. Overall facility feels a bit cramped, sites should be wider, & more level. Really enjoyed the view from our site.

Great view from our spot. Clean but old restrooms. Hard to communicate with staff, only answer the phone during certain times. Office is closed a lot. Our city water hookup was loose pvc plastic and could break easily. The really bad part was the 30 amp plug was worn out and my new male plug was real loose when plugged in. That will burn your plug, safety problem. Tried to call, got voicemail.

We are a little short handed at the moment. If you get the VM please leave a message! But doing our best. All our water spickets are PVC. You have to try really hard, but I guess they can break. Will check the 30amp plug.

We stayed in slot 22. Real close to other RV's. Water faucet squirted water. Told front office and she already new about it. So, even though they new about it, it hadn't been fixed and no one showed up to fix it. It looked old so I would assume its been leaking awhile. I put a 5 gal bucket over it so it didn't spray on our RV or our neighbors. Bathrooms were clean and the over all park was clean.

Yes, we were aware of the faucet needing repair. It's on our maintenance list, we will get to it. The water does need to be shut off to repair, not something we want to do when the sites are all full.

We had a wonderful time at the KOA WaldPort/Newport! We loved the easy access to the beach, which we mostly had to ourselves!!! We also enjoyed walking across the large bridge and seeing the seals playing below! We look forward to visiting again!!

This is a beautiful KOA right on the bay at the ocean. The views are incredible, and it is very convenient to activities and food north and south on Hwy 101. Staff was very efficient and took care of everything! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for a night or however long you need. We stayed 4 nights and wish we could have stayed longer!

I stayed here in a Tesla Model 3 SR+ with a 30amp adapter and tent camped next to my car. The spot was really nice and the ground was soft. Plenty of room for my car and tent. If you're in an EV and are driving long distances, just email or call ahead to check with them, but this site was very nice about it and let me camp!

We stayed here for the 1st time last week for 7 nights. The campground and store was very clean and maintained. Check-in was easy and we were assigned the site we requested when we made the reservation. We were in site 31 overlooking the bay and the beautiful bridge. Sites 26-31 are view sites. It's very close to Waldport, a few miles north to Newport, and about 50 minutes to Florence. Great KOA

The managers/owners were very nice and accommodating. The spaces were generally large but lack of 50 amp in a lot of them was a draw back. Access for big rigs into and out of the park was extremely tight, but otherwise, a nice park.

We had a fantastic stay at Waldport. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bay and beach is beautiful. We saw seals playing rather close to the shore. It's a short drive to Newport and many activities. Thank you!

Great campground! We got a site with a view of the ocean and it was so beautiful. Sites were super clean, the staff was very on top of flagging any new visitors to make sure campers were the only ones on the campground. Loved it!

We had a great spot right along the ridge. It was beautiful but windy, so we may try a different spot next time. Bathrooms and campground were clean. Two parks for the kids. Beach access is a narrow nature trail, so not the most accessible for differently-abled. Would definitely camp here again.

Had a very good stay. Location was excellent for exploring the coast between Newport and Yachats. Staff was friendly and supportive. Bathroom facilities were a bit dated and in need of some cosmetic repairs, but that's the only negative for the park.

In all our years of staying at KOA campgrounds it was the best spot we have ever parked. Lying in bed at back of our Motor Coach we had a spectacular view. And we had called Amanda that morning asking if we could come one day earlier. She was cheerful and quickly invited us to come. The RV park was beautifully maintained.

My Wife and I stayed 2 nights and back in camp spot #27 was great; the view of the BAY and Waldport was Great! We used the nature trail to go down to beach to explore and go to dinner @ Waves restaurant for Dinner. We also biked around the resort and went to the beach! The KOA staff was friendly and had a great time!

Trash was over flowing to ground in trash area. Bathrooms were not stocked and dirty. Theft occurred while we were there on a patrons trailer. Overall very disgusted during our visit, would of left early but was very windy and raining.

People do not always put trash in dumpster, but set it on the ground. We clean and stock our restrooms every three hours or more. Knock-on-wood, we have never had anything stolen at our location.

Beautiful campsite with view of bridge and bay. Clean. Covid/winter closures so much of the campground was closed. Looks like fun? Not easy to get to the water. Town food and beach very close. Nice area.

Breaker popped every night at around 9 PM, worked fine after reset until 9 ish the next night and so on, did not turn anything on or off in the trailer and never had any problem prior.

Good location to park a RV lots of sites. All sites are well kept has a restroom laundry and playground. Owners are friendly store is nice enjoyed my stay

This was one of the last trips my family and i took together. I pulled in hoping to find a sign and the facility over the years has had upgrades. It looked amazing. Great to see it once again!
