It has been a pleasure staying at the Waldport/Newport KOA and we look forward to returning each year. The location is perfect for visiting the surrounding points of interest. The campground is clean, well maintained and provides some spectacular views of the bay. The staff are always friendly and accommodating! It's a perfect way to end the season each year!

Great bathrooms. Some of the best in all our KOA stays. Nice path to shoreline. Ocean view spot blocked by lots of vegetation so could not see the water really. One employee drove around asking if anyone needed anything. Also witnessed them helping separate trash for recycling.

We really enjoyed our stay, the staff was friendly. We wish we had a car, it limited to what we could do. We did walk into Waldport, not much there but we did find a great restaurant for crab. It is quite a walk, about 4 miles round trip.

This has been one of the cleanest, nicest Koa we have been in, along our one year trip starting in Florida in January 2021. We appreciated arriving at a clean freshly raked back in. Very nice, keep it up, we will be back.

Nice clean, safe, and friendly campground. The only negative thing is the the water, sewer, and cable hook ups were in the middle of the the campsite so we had to pull our trailer up so far to unhook and hookup it that we blocked the road. but it will not stop us from coming back next year. Loved our stay.

We made reservations in advance and paid to deluxe site. They knew the size of our trailer. They refused to give us a specific site just tell us range of site numbers. The site was slanted which made set up difficult. This site was unsuited for trailer our size. And the view that was promised was obscured by tall weeds. Not good experience. Will not return

Great place great weather. The only problem they do not have an enclosed dog run. Every thing else was perfect.

Very friendly staff. Nice big site for our rig. Quiet night of sleep. Just wished the trails were open to walk our dog.

Never stayed in a KOA before. We found this one to be a pretty darn good place to stay! The staff was very friendly. Very clean and quiet. It’s highly likely that I will stay again. I only wish we could have had guests over but I understand.

Beautiful KOA on the water. Our deluxe patio site was great and roomy. Staff was very accommodating with the long pull through site we needed for a tow vehicle. A walking path to the beach was nice. We used both the showers and laundry facilities which was handy.

The grounds where well maintained. Considering i was in a premium site, the view was in no way premium. A very nice quiet spot to relax.

The campground was an excellent central location for exploring the Oregon coast. The grounds were nicely maintained. The restrooms were very clean. The trash area was tidy. The laundry facility was good but one machine was broken and all were old and could use some updating. We would definitely return.

Good quiet park. We’ve still sued here before and were happy to see it’s still friendly and clean as before. Easy access and some nice views of Alsea bay as well. We really enjoyed our stay!

A big plus is your WiFi is very good. Big down grade is your sites are to small. (Not deep enough) after we backed in we had about 5 feet between our trailer and the guys behind us. � Another big downside is your sites are gravel/dirt or just dirt. For a national campground I would expect better. We have in the past stayed at many KOA’s and will in the future. But your KOA doesn’t me

I would give 4 1/2 if I could. The only downside was the sirens from the Hwy which is nothing that the KOA can really control. The park was nice, clean and quiet. We enjoyed our stay and the staff was very friendly!!

The camp was very clean and tidy with a great bath house and laundry. Our site did not have a physical privacy separation, like a hedge, as other sites did. It made us feel like our teardrop camper was in a canyon and under surveillance from our neighbors with huge RVs.

Was very helpful and welcoming.. Clean washers and dryers, with very helpful attendances. Also loved the places for my dogs to do their business.

Very friendly staff! Real nice park to camp at, being close to the beach. Not a bad walk to Waldport, and Newport is just a short drive to the North. We had a very comfortable stay.

We were disappointed that we could not park our trailer at our site with us along with our truck and camper and had to park it in overflow and be charged for it. There was was plenty of room at our site to have both there and would have been more convenient for us. Otherwise a great park and very clean and friendly staff.

Thank you for the comments. We allow 1 RV and 1 car per site. Any thing additional has to park in OF. There is a fee for that.

This was one of the cleanest KOAs we have visited. The sites were meticulously raked and cleaned between visitors. We were truly impressed. We wished we could have stayed longer. The trail to the bay was incredible. Nothing but good things to say about the staff and campground.

Large park. Tight spaces, but room for trailer and truck. Sewer was a long stretch. Low water pressure and WiFi is really slow, so we used our own hot spot. Clean, welk-run park. Did not use showers or restrooms. Laundry is dated but worked fine.

We actually have very high water pressure. Recommend you use a water regulator. We installed a whole new Wi-Fi system this spring that is awesome.

Good location to park a RV lots of sites. All sites are well kept has a restroom laundry and playground. Owners are friendly store is nice enjoyed my stay

This was one of the last trips my family and i took together. I pulled in hoping to find a sign and the facility over the years has had upgrades. It looked amazing. Great to see it once again!
