Very helpful caretaker helped me park my 5th wheel and generally looked after us the entire stay. Clean organized and a beautiful location.

Great location. Nice clean bathrooms and laundry facilities. Very tight squeeze maneuvering a large travel trailer. The upper play area needs some TLC. It’s so full of thorns it’s almost impossible for anyone to use. Besides the upper play area issue It was a nice place to stay. I would consider returning.

had ~ 1 hr delay in check in.

We make sure everything is clean and taken care of before we check people in. Everyone checks out at 11am. That gives us from 11am to 2pm to get this done. We suggest calling us the day of your arrival to see if we can get you in earlier than 2pm.

Very very quiet. No street noise. You will meet your neighbor being so close but everyone we met were really nice. Most campers are there crabbing. They are all happy as they never get shut-out like fishermen do.

We didn't feel welcomed at check-in and were made to wait until exactly 2 pm to enter even though our site was empty and had been cleaned. A remark made by a gentleman who was behind the counter when we checked in (owner?) that was probably meant to be funny was actually fairly rude and uncalled for. Those two incidences combined with the NO VISITORS rule makes it very unlikely we will ever return

Our check-in time is 2pm. We clean all our out going sites, do maintenance, repairs, etc... between check-out @ 11am and check-in @ 2pm. We do not always need until 2pm. Some days we do. Yes. No visitors at this time. Registered campers only on the property.

Was a bit difficult with the size of our trailer for it & our tow vehicle at our initial site # 23. All around us were larger, crew cab pick ups.

The park has a great location and the place, including the bathrooms were very clean. But there are too many rules...ie ..we didn't bring a tow car and our relatives, who live in Waldport were picking us up, but as no guest are allowed in the park, we had to walk to the parking lot..We are elderly and we can walk, but we would have liked to be picked up, Not a disabled friendly place!!

Visitors are not allowed at this time. Registered campers only on the campground. Thank you for respecting the policy. Has nothing to do with disability. Just how we have to do business at this time.

Stayed one night while passing through the area. Very clean place and friendly staff. The view from our spot was very nice, the bridge and water was so pretty. Would absolutely stay again.

This was our 5th visit to the Waldport KOA and everything was fine ... the campground was clean as usual and had staff helping campers to locate their sites ... they also rake the gravel after each guest departs the camp... We enjoyed our 3 day stay and beautiful weather ...

The setting is pleasant with a view of the bay and bridge. This is a camp ground for folks who wish to chill at the RV or explore the Oregon coast.

My wife and I have been KOAers for over 30 years and Waldport is the best, hands down. Sites separated with hedges and conveniently located utilities. Maintenance and clear up first class with tables scrubbed daily and sites racked after each visit. Office very well stocked and friendly staff helpful. Highly recommend a stay there.

This KOA should be an Over 50's KOA. Music is only allowed to be played inside your RV. When we talked to the man who came over from the office and I mentioned that life is happening here, as it is everywhere, including children playing etc. He then said we could report the children making noise! Imagine!! No life here! Over 50 club! Save yourself, go elsewhere!

Our campground is alive and well. Yes, no amplified music is allowed. Campers just don't want to hear other campers music. Playing it inside your rig is fine, unless it is so loud it can be heard outside, than that is the same as playing it outside.

Enjoyed walk over Waldport Bridge to visit the town of Waldport. The campground is clean and has some spaces that have a view of the bay. We will return.

Cramped space to maneuver. No parking spaces near the laundry or restrooms/showers. Not all of us are lucky enough to be able to walk to these facilities and cannot carry our laundry that far.

We do not have enough room for parking spaces at the bathhouse. You can't block the roads or people can't get through. Most campers just have the person their with drop them off and come back. Then you don't have to walk so far and you don't block the road.

We loved the location for our needs. The staff was VERY friendly and helpful when we had leave halfway through our stay because if an emergency. The campgrounds are well cared for and clean. Look forward to returning again.

Overnight stop over with 3 grandkids 6-10 years of age. Kind of drizzly weather and we were not engaging in any surrounding activities so they were a little bored.

Sign on Hwy 101 needs the branches cleared from in front of it. Not much room when checking in, you seem to block the road for everyone.

When you enter the park, just pull all the way up the the white line. Then you are right where you need to be for check-in. It may feel like you are in the way, but that is where you are supposed to be.

Staff was unprofessional in their communication about things like: forgot to check in as someone else booked site, need to put extra car in upper lot NOW, staff took pictures of a couples children without their permission & drove off in golf cart, Unaware that they don't rent out the bikes anymore, or that the fun room with air hockey etc, is now used for storage. Price was very high! no more

To ensure everyone has a good stay, we do have campground rules. Rules are enforced to ensure the comfort and safety of everyone. Our staff doesn't take pictures of kids and drive away, we don't forget to check people in, and yes, only 1 car per site.

We were very pleased with the upkeep and maintenance at this facility. However I experienced the housekeeping department abusing the washers and dryer‘s in the laundry room. They left their housekeeping cleaning rags sitting in the dryer for over an hour causing all sorts of back ups and delays and frustrations in the laundry room. The laundry room is so small and this was unacceptable.

Nice, clean campground and quiet, which we like. The Astoria KOA is fine but a little too loud for us. We want to come back and camp in a spot overlooking the water. Thanks, KOA

Good location to park a RV lots of sites. All sites are well kept has a restroom laundry and playground. Owners are friendly store is nice enjoyed my stay

This was one of the last trips my family and i took together. I pulled in hoping to find a sign and the facility over the years has had upgrades. It looked amazing. Great to see it once again!
