Such a nice place located right on our route. Very easy pull in spot with beautiful grounds to stretch our legs. We didn't have children with us but there were many activities available for kids!! Enjoyed the pool as well. Very friendly and helpful staff!!

We had a nice shaded pull thru site with plenty of room for our slide outs and awning for our 2 day stay. There was a wood deck with picnic table right at our motorhome door which made a clean and dry entryway to our unit. Even though the campground was close to the interstate, there was very little noise at our campsite. We would definitely stay there again.

Wi-fi never worked, sites were tightly packed so close your front door and picnic table are mere feet from your neighbor’s sewer connection.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Upgraded WiFi is one of the enhancements coming soon. The pull-through sites are perfect for rest while traveling. The back-in sites are nice for a longer stay. Come and visit us again and check out the changes!

We had a great stay here, any issues that we had were addressed immediately. We ordered food from the snack bar and had it delivered to our site. The pizza was really good. the kids enjoyed the pool playground and Putt Putt. We were there during the week o the kids had everything to them selves.

We stayed one. Check in was simple and we were led to our site which was big enough for our camper and tow vehicle. The grounds were clean and we ordered food that was good and arrived quickly to our site. This was our third stay here and all have been good.

Spaces are very close together: picnic table was right next to neighbors sewer connection. Our wooden platform had several nails sticking out and a rotten broken plank. Service tech rudely snapped it’s because people drive over it. Playground had rusty broken connection and was not very save. The road noise was significant. Bathrooms & swimming pool were clean, & office staff very friendly.

If a longer stay is in your plans, consider a back in site with elbow room built in! These sites are ready to enhance your visit to the great outdoors.

we have stayed here previously and each time it was easy in and easy out services were great and the people were a pleasure to work with from signing in to hooking up would definitely stay here again

Loved the campground. Everyone very friendly. Unfortunately our camper fridge quit working and takes a terrible smell and the gas warning alarm went off. We had to leave and go home...4 hours away. Husband is working on it now to hopefully replace it. We would love to be able to go back to this KOA.

We had a fabulous time! I loved the grounds of the campground and Kevin and Karen made our stay memorable. The pool was great and two dog runs made our pups very happy! The pizza and pulled port fries that Karen whipped up for us was delicious!

If I could give you a higher rating I would. From the day we arrived we felt very welcomed. Your staff was very kind and offered all their help for what ever we needed. If you are looking for a great place to stay choose the Wapakoneta KOA!

Kevin and his wife made us feel like family. The park is very clean and well run. My wife especially enjoyed the pool. This KOA is very close to the Neil Armstrong Museum. It is worth a trip through this area just to go there. We had a great time and would definitely stop here again. We were here for 7 days and traveled in a motorhome.

The 2 dog parks were a big surprise and wonderful break for our pups. We liked having a full hook up spot. It is a nice and clean campground. We’ll stop again.

We enjoyed the stay, about 6 days. The pull through sites are far too close to one another for us. You have a few pull through sites that are adequately wide but there is no shade at all. The back in sites seem to be much wider and some have great shade. The staff is very friendly and accommodated us in every way, including allowing us to change sites at check in. The pads are nice and level.

We really liked this KOA. Our site(45) was a fantastic back in site. I’ll say some of the pull thrus are very tight and close together. The pool is wonderful. Like to see more items in the store. Seems like an overnight KOA but there is plenty to do in area if you just search it out. Thanks for a relaxing weekend

Had a great time. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and our tent site was very nice. I was maybe expecting more of a larger park feel as that's what I've seen at other KOAs, but I was unaware of the differences between the Holiday, Journey, and normal KOA parks. Either way, still had a great experience. Everyone was very nice.

Nice people. Well taken care of. But not a place that is nice for staying more than just passing through. Fire pit out by road couldn’t even sit around it if wanted to without being in road. Least nicest koa I have ever stayed at.

Staff very nice. Owner spent well over an hour with an arrival that didn't know how to back in his 5th wheel including triming a tree that didn't need to be trimmed. Owner ended up giving the guy a pull thru space but was extremely patient with this guy even though the guy was not nice.

Was not bad, but not as nice as expected. Hook ups were far.

It was all very nice except for the club house. Needs to be more games avaiable for the kids and the mini golf area needs cleaned up. Couldnt play due to debris on the green

Very pleasant stay. Campground employees Karen and Kevin, were so friendly and helpful. Sites are very tight (width) though the one we had was ok. Others in our group didn’t fare as well. Neighbor’s slides were literally blocking part of the skinny little slice of side of site.

Sewer hook up was to high and caused spillage. Sewer system backed up. Deck at your site was old with boards lose and sticking up, dangerous.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The sewer back up was isolated to one site down the row. You were told by a staff member in the morning; you were able to dump without issue. Also, if there was a danger at your site, staff should be alerted right away (while you are still on the property) so your stay can be enjoyable and safe.

The campground was very clean and some trees had been cut back which helped getting the bigger coachs into the sites. The new owners and management were a lot more friendly.

It was our first time camping in an RV the staff was great at helping when we needed it or had question. It was well kept,and friendly. Will definitely be back

We only stayed one night but it was very nice what we saw. We came in right before the office closed and the lady that checked us in, I think her name was Karen was very nice and helpful. The only suggestion I would give is maybe a wooden shelf by the bed to place my cell phone on with a outlet on the wall below it to recharge my phone other then that the place was very clean and nice.

This is always a favorite stop for us going cross country. Love the 2 dog parks. Access to town, and easy return to the freeway. And the topping to it all the ice cream in the camp store.

Restrooms were clean, lots of things for the kids to do - putt putt, swimming pool, playground, the mining thing was a hit, the older kids liked the ping pong table.

We had a group camp out and found spots to be together yet socially distant. Very friendly staff, new managers and owner. Looking forward to seeing the planned improvements.

This is a super cute campground very well maintained, I love the gas grills you can reserve on some sites and the comfy seating with umbrellas. They have dog areas where you're dog can come off leash to use the restroom. A must stay if your passing through. We came here on a trip to Georgia and our truck ended up breaking down and was towed to the dealer nearby the owners were so accommodating to assist us in any way we were able to secure extra days while waiting for repair.
