I have been wanting to go camping for awhile now but there always seems to be something that gets in the way. This weekend was free, so a few days prior I booked a trip to the Wapakoneta KOA. It was super simple to book, and the place is awesome. The property is very well taken care of and was a great place to stay. The owners are super nice too! I would definitely recommend this KOA to anyone.

Site 21 was very narrow. After we had set up, another trailer came in to set up. The site was so narrow that when they opened their slide out, it was extending over our patio pad.

Another great stay again. This is our 3rd trip this year to Wapakoneta KOA. The staff here is 2nd to none, Kevin and Karen are outstanding. The park is clean and we have noticed regular improvements that have made things even better.. Beware though, if you are cooking bacon in the morning Kevin will show up to "talk". So make some extra�Ϝ

Just stopped to get off road for the night and continued our journey North. The staff is excellent and did I mention they have a pretty good kitchen?, including PIZZA.

Staff was excellent. Camp sites are on the small size Had a full hook-up pull thru but to accommodate my tow we were at the very limit of our sewer drain pipe(20'). Met some nice people and would b happy o stay here again..

This is was our 2nd stay with Wapakoneta KOA. The staff are by far the best. Friendly, helpful, and always have a smile on their faces. We will be back for certain!

The wife and husband team that checked us in on Saturday morning was amazing!!! They were very welcoming and even assisted helping me back into our spot. Extremely pleased and will stay again!

1. Was charged for first night of reservation after we were unable to be on site due to situation beyond our control. Campground was advised as soon as we encountered the problem. 2. Policy to charge each visitor $7 fee. 3. Restroom toilet paper beyond rediculess (lowest grade - cheep). 4. Sites too close together. 5. Hookup facilities strung out / inconvient - too far apart. 6. Sorry!

1. Read cancellation policy2.Read visitor policy in advance. 3. If You went through 30 rolls of toilet paper in a month you wouldn't buy Charmin either. 4. 50 y/o campground. 5.Position your motor home on site properly. 6.You have been here several times why return if we dont meet your needs

We stayed here after purchasing a new camper from a nearby dealership. We were able to stay connected to our truck and fully check out our new camper. Although we only stayed one night, we will definitely come back and stay longer. The pool looked inviting and the pizza was great. Owners and staff were very friendly.

Relaxing! All employees very nice and helpful. Food from the snack bar was delicious - love the nachos with pulled pork, and the pulled chicken sandwich was great! Very good internet and plenty of cable channels.

Extremely helpful employees, nice campground and a very clean campground. This was our third time visiting the campground and we've enjoyed ourselves every time we went.

We had a great stay. Everyone was very nice. My only issue was that there was a hole in our deck that our child fell through, she was just scratched but it could have been much worse. More attention needs to be paid to the maintenance of wooden decks

Our site was way to narrow. It was a pull thru but barely had enough room for the slide outs and awning and we Don’t have a big rig!!!! Also when the website says up to 6 people on a site you shouldn’t have to pay extra when there are more than 2 people

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

There is always an additional fee for additional people whether they are included in the reservation or just a visitor. When making a reservation on line, a true number of people needs to be entered to get an accurate cost of the site. The max for each site is 6 people whether registered or guests

Beautiful campground meticulously kept by hands on owners. Very friendly staff, great pool and playground, and game room- lots for kids to do. Delicious food and ice cream delivered to your site. Sites are beautifully wooded. Wapakoneta offers lots to do before relaxing on your beautiful site.

We stayed 3 nights in space 30. Had a great time. The staff was excellent and very attentive. Just for fun, my wife and i bought 2 mining bags and had a ball panning for our treasures. The only critizism I have, and it's minor, is that the sluce was in need of cleaning out. There was a lot of sediment in the bottom of it. Otherwise, we had a fun and relaxing time. We'll be back.

It was wonderful. The staff is awsome. They were so helpful getting us checked in, parked and best of all they brought our food order to our site. It is very clean and well maintained. I would love to go back and stay for several days. I highly recommend this facility for an overnight stay or an extended stay. Thanks to all for a great stay!��

This is a super cute campground very well maintained, I love the gas grills you can reserve on some sites and the comfy seating with umbrellas. They have dog areas where you're dog can come off leash to use the restroom. A must stay if your passing through. We came here on a trip to Georgia and our truck ended up breaking down and was towed to the dealer nearby the owners were so accommodating to assist us in any way we were able to secure extra days while waiting for repair.
