Everything was great. However, I did notice that when the shower is being used water leaks into the sleeping areas - something to look into!

We loved our stay and thought the cabin had a great layout. However the cabin could have used a little attention: * the floors were dirty and need a good scrub * the plastic cooking utensils need to be replaced * rain leaked through the front door None were a big deal but addressing these items would make for 5/5 rating

It was amazing the beach was so clean! The staff was fabulous! My kids had the best vacation. I wanted to thank everyone for making my stay unbelievably perfect! I will say that the shower was clogged in our cabin and the water didn't drain well. But I will be coming back!

We stayed in a cabin for a family vacation with our grandkids and their parents. The cabin was great for all of us. Would highly recommend to future guests.

The cabin/ tiny home was adorable! Better then I expected! The kids enjoyed being able to still swim after the water park. I wish that the mattress they use for the loft area was a little bit better quality. Other then that everything reach my expectations and beyond!

Was not a place to find that a toaster was in the cabin prior to arrival; even when we called to find out. Do not like the Keurig coffee maker; not enough pods for 4 adults, coffee was awful, no idea how old it was. A coffee maker and filters would be better; guests can bring their own coffee to make. Air conditioners worked great! Leaky kitchen sink underneath. Wish had outside table umbrella.

It was a beautiful stay! So clean and friendly! We truly can not wait to go back! And the Waterpark was amazing! But recommend going about 30 minutes before they open as the line gets very long!

We came in town for a Dek Hockey tournament downtown Waterloo. The KOA cabin was a nice change from staying in a hotel. The cabin was clean and had all the accomodations we needed. Enjoying a campfire and eating outside was the perfect way to unwind after a long day at the tournament. The KOA staff was very helpful and we look forward to our next stay.

Cabins were clean and tidy. Camp ground is extremely nice and big and clean. Our particular cabin, DK16, needs very minor maintenance. The refrigerator door handle is plastic and cracked so hard to open; the toilet continually runs unless you giggle the handle; and the faucet in the bathroom sink needs a screen at the spigot since water sprays all over. Would highly recommend cabins!

The cabin was decent but there was a pool of water on the floor when we arrived. Rain water was leaking through the door so we had to keep a towel in front of it. We had to request towels twice (2 different days). Our “neighbors” had 5 dogs in their cabin and tied them up outside and let them whine and bark at 6am both mornings they were next next to us. Not sure I would stay again.

cabin was dirty upon arrival we had to clean cabin walls and cupboards were sticky smoke very bad in cabin floor was very dirty will we be notified if there is something you will do for our inconvenience

Great time - we rented paddle boards, peddle boats, brought own kayaks & bicycles. Played beach volleyball, did a little swimming (race to island and back tradition started). We had a bon fire out front with S'Mores, hot dogs, and some good board games (Aggravation) inside during a short rain spell. Great sleeping layout in Cabin 15 for 8 of us !! Kids even played late night Clue in Pavillion!

We enjoyed our time at the campground and wished the weather would have been nicer to try out some of the rental equipment. We were a little disappointed in our cabin. Upon arrival, I wiped down the counters with a Clorox wipe. The wipes were black after using them. Our furnace also did not seem to work when it was raining, so we were left with a cold nights sleep.

Nice cabins. I love buying s tent spot for the day and taking my kids out fishing. Always clean and quiet. Management and staff was very nice as well.

We were unaware of the ‘security deposit’ until we arrived. We made sure front office was aware of no dishware except 3 mugs, broken refrigerator handle and fly swatter in the drawer with the one spatula. Didn’t want to be held liable for their guidelines upon checking out.

We left after the cabin was dirty and they refused to charge us to a different. One so we went and stayed in a hotel. Very upsetting as we have had positive experiences there in the past

Overall we really enjoyed our stay and the experience we were able to have as a family. There was one hiccup, at some point during the night the furnace stopped working. It was freezing cold in the cabin. Eventually it started working again around 4:30AM. I did let staff know at checkout. She was apologetic and said that she would pass the information on. We will definitely stay again...soon!

Ive stayed at many KOA's in the past and this by far was my favorite locations so far. The cabin was absolutly beautiful and I really enjoyed my time fishing. Everyone was extreamly kind and helpful and wasn exactly what I needed. It was an extremely nicle place to stay.

We had a great time! I loved the cabin! My only real complaint was the beach was very unkept, there were discarded clothes and drink containers everywhere for our entire stay. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time and will be coming again!

This was our first family vacation as a family of 8. The KOA in Waterloo was more than accommodating for all ages of children. Ours range from 5-15. The Cabins were very clean and had all the necessary amenities for however long of stay you choose. I would highly recommend this if you are looking for a cheap vacation with a good amount of amenities. We will be back!!!

We were a little worried about the KOA after reading a few reviews on the KOA website about the Waterloo location but we were pleasantly surprised! We stayed in a Deluxe Cabin and it was very clean upon arrival. The beds were comfortable. The weather wasn't great - rained the whole time - so we weren't able to enjoy the lake but it was nice how close it was to the cabin. We will come back!

With Covid my family has not had a vacation and hadn't done anything really fun. This little get away gave us life! We had so much fun and had time to relax. We can't wait to return next summer!!!

My 3rd year to have the same cabin but this year my cabin was dirty there was gum stuck to the frig , the floor was really dirty, the air conditioner was full of dust. The tub and the sink wouldn’t drain . Did report that but no one came to fix it .

My name is Andre’ Thornton and I stayed the dates of August 2nd-4th. I booked on line and reading the information it stated a down payment equaling the first night would be charged to my account. I thought I was paying my first night but upon receiving my bill it appears to be a separate charge. Could you please check on this it seams like your double dipping.

Everything was well maintained. The kids had fun at the beach and playground. We loved the cabin and its proximity to both. Trash could pile up at the dumpsters and was always overflowing. No dish soap provided in cabin, which would have been nice (or good to know we needed to bring). Otherwise everything was great.

I rented two cabins- there was three adults and seven kids- the cabins we’re perfect- the kids had a blast swimming,playing on the playground, fishing and learning how to kayak- the only problem we had was we spent 60$ on four pizzas and three buckets of fish and one bucket of mozzarella sticks it took over two hours to get our food the pizza was to well done and the buckets had like one handfu

This was our 5th year coming here and we love it! The cabins are always nice and clean, and if we need anything, the wonderful staff is quick to help. The only thing I would ask for is for the grass and weeds around the cabins to be mowed/taken care of better. However, nothing can deter us from coming again next year!

We enjoyed the cabin, volley ball on the beach, paddle boards and the old pac man/centipede etc game in the store! Cabin was clean and cute! There were some flies in there though. We had a fun time!
