Fire & Firewood Rules

Use only the campground-provided or approved fire ring or fire container. Outside firewood is not allowed; firewood is sold at the camp store. Never leave a fire unattended, extinguish it completely, and follow posted burn restrictions.

Wildlife Awareness

Bald eagles are a familiar sight around the Mississippi River Valley. Please respect the wildlife that shares the bluffs with us: observe animals from a distance, do not feed them, and keep food and trash secured. Stay on marked paths and supervise children and pets outdoors.

Recreational Rentals

No recreational equipment is available for rent on-site. The on-site RV rental is listed under Ways to Stay.

Propane Tank Sales

Propane tanks are available for purchase at the campground store. The campground does not fill or exchange propane tanks on-site. Ask the store about available sizes and current prices.

Golf Cart Policy

Golf carts count toward the two-vehicle limit at a campsite. Only licensed drivers may operate them. Register each cart with the office, display campground identification, and provide proof of liability insurance. Side-by-sides and off-road utility vehicles are not permitted. Follow the 5 mph campground speed limit.

Pet Policy

Pets are welcome at no extra charge. Outdoors, they must be attended and kept on a leash no longer than six feet. Clean up immediately after pets. Aggressive behavior or repeated excessive barking may require removal. Pets may not enter the store, restrooms, pool area, playground, shelter, or other posted pet-free areas. Service animals are accommodated as required by law.

Vehicle Policy

No more than two vehicles may park at a campsite, and only if both fit entirely within the assigned parking area. A golf cart counts as a vehicle. Do not park in roads, grass, neighboring sites, utility areas, or other restricted spaces. An additional vehicle requires prior approval and must use assigned overflow parking.

Visitor Policy

All visitors must register with the office upon arrival. A visitor who is not a registered campsite occupant pays $5 per person per day; a $50 frequent-guest pass is available for the season. The registered camper is responsible for visitor conduct, charges, and damage.

Trash & Recycling

Recycling containers are in the parking lot by the office. Dumpsters are on the road below the office and in the parking lot across from the store.

Campground Speed Limit

The campground speed limit is 5 mph.
