WiFi was not usable at all! Terrible

My family has been coming to this KOA campground for 15 years. After staying this weekend I noticed some changes. The staff did not appear to be as friendly as before and the campground seemed like it could use some updating. Location is still great, but miss that family friendliness as there was before.

We will be back!! We had a large group of 6 cabins 9 adults 14 kids. We all want to make it an annual thing but might come back in a months or two. Great customer service, great amenities just great all around!

It was our first time at this particular koa. We rented one of the cabins. We were extremely shocked as to how much room was in the cabin for a family of four. We are considering renting here again next year.

The stay went well. The amenities are pretty standard. The site was easy enough to back into and the help from the staff to guide was appreciated. More directional signs for traffic flow would have been nice for exiting, and the narrow, single lane that is both entrance and exit for the hill area was a bit nervous-inducing. Firewood was a bit overpriced. Otherwise, good place to stay.

Pleasant & helpful staff. Fun activities. Site was big & level. However, the road in our loop was very narrow % made parking a challenge. The electrical & water hookups were at the front which meant to hook up I couldn't back my rig all the way in. Nevertheless this is a nice well run and clean campground.

The koa is friendly and very clean!! Only wish the pool hours opened earlier and closed later.

The front desk staff were rude and unwelcoming. The sites were very tiny. Someone should preface that the campgtare right next to a busy railroad track.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. My family of four stayed in the “Mum” cabin. The kids loved the bunk beds. The pillows seemed new. The place was clean enough for a campground. The pool and splash pad were really a nice touch! My only gripe is that the bed was listed as a queen, but it was actually a full size bed. My husband slept on the futon. No problem, just wasn’t what I expect

We’re from Michigan and stayed here for a baseball tournament. Our first time in a KOA! What a great experience! Lots to do for my 11yr old and his buddy. I’m looking into renting another cabin closer to home �� better than sleeping in a tent and cheaper than a hotel �

We loved this KOA! We had the first spot to the left when you pulled in and it was very large and shady! Only downside was the train track literally across the street. It was so loud! However, with the AC on, it only woke me up once at night.

Everything was great! We had a pull through site with a patio. The patio furniture and fire pit was very nice! We’ll hopefully make it back sometime.

Internet did not work. They informed us after we were already set up that a bath house has been burned down to the ground and that one of the towers were burnt with it so the WIFI was not working towards the back of the campground. Also, the dog park was not mowed. The grass was taller than our dog when we arrived. It was not mowed until 3 days before we were scheduled to leave.

We stayed one night while on a road trip the campground was very nice and clean.the staff was extremely friendly our cabin was clean and well maintained.i look forward to returning when I can stay longer.ps late check in was easy

Bathroom across from our site under construction (looks like for a while). Deb in the office not very accommodating, Judy-Yes. They had us (grand kids) on opposite ends of the campground. Asked if they could be near us but Deb told us everything was booked. The sites on both sides of me stayed empty (along with several others) from entry to departure-ALL 3 days. Not very good Guest services.

This was our 1st stay at a KOA cabin. We were impressed by how clean everything was!! The price was great, the pool was perfectly shaded so we didnt have to sunscreen on the 90 degree days! Service was attentive and the store had anything you may have forgotten. Location was excellent for enjoying the Dell's and hitting devils lake, cave of the mounds and wollersheim winery. Our kids loved it too!

Wonderful clean campsites. Pool was clean. Nice and quiet. The only problem was trying to get cable tv to work.

Clean facilities, friendly staff, nice activities for young kids. The rustic cabin was clean and cool with the AC, but the sleeping pads on the beds were very thin, so it was a bit uncomfortable. We enjoyed the cabin swing and fire pit.

No WiFi up on the top level, no bathrooms or showers or laundry on the third level, we are close to 75 and 80 yr old, we would have preferred to bottom level

Overall we had a great stay and will be back. The only thing that could be improved was the cleanliness of the cabin. The floors looked like they hadn't been mopped in a while and our one year old had black knees from crawling on the floor.

Very nice staff! Lovely grounds. Those of us with patios had grills provided! We had an unexpected RV repair which the staff was kind enough to wait for us to fix even though we were a little past the departure time.

The facilities were so clean and the staff was friendly! The text reminders about store closing and having wood/ice delivered to our camp site was an extra nice touch.

On the site it said I would have a grass patch put my tent on and it was all dirt the picnic table was filthy like it was not washed since last season and I really did not appreciate the train going by every 15 minutes in the night overall I had a really bad experience at this campground and the bathrooms were disgusting

It was smaller than anticipated, the facilities closed so early & you couldn’t play basketball as cars were parked on and near the “court”. They had two very creepy long stay campers near bathroom that made it uncomfortable to allow people to go to bathroom alone. Bathrooms kept so clean!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

One camper is the managers for storage, the other is their daughter who is an employee. I apologize this made you uncomfortable. We do not have any extended stay rvs in the entire park.

Loved it as usual. I thought the pool and office closed too early, but otherwise it was great. One recommendation. Same as I made last time.... the light in the tent area that is on at night (by volleyball) is way too bright and takes away from the ambiance. I prefer to be dim or off completely. Also, the WiFi did not have internet. This did not affect us too much.

We have been coming up to this camp ground for many, many years and it was nice to see that the new owners have built on the foundation of the previous owners. Great Camp Ground, Great Staff, and a Great Experience.

Campground was nice and staff friendly. But had neighbors that would leave their camper for the day with their dog stuck inside barking incessantly for hours at a time. Also, quiet-hours were broken multiple times by multiple campers, and we had one neighbor who kept the quiet hours but just sat outside playing music the rest of the time - so we couldn't really enjoy just sitting outside.

Great campground- well kept, great staff, great amenities, good location, and phenomenal facilities for a campground. One solitary frustration- the train noise on that side of the campground!

We had a great time! Even after we goofed up and set up at the wrong site when we arrived after hours the staff were so helpful to put our mind at ease. It was a bummer the bathroom right across the way was down but looks like they are working on that. We will for sure come back to this KOA in the future. Felt safe there and things were clean.

The cabin was wonderful and clean and close to the bathroom. Everyone who works there was friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back.

Our spot was right by the road and there was train tracks across the street. It was difficult to sleep due to the noise. Registered through the app, it said only 3 sites available, got there many empty sites Pool heater was broken, the pool wasn't very clean and wasn't open that late-6:00 pm. Arcade wasn't open past 6:00 pm either. Bathhouses were outdated. This KOA was not very family friendly.

Made spontaneous plans to join my brother-in-law for an overnight at this KOA location in Wisc. Dells on their last weekend of the season 2021. It was a very clean facility. Our tent site was right across from my brother-in-law's RV site, which were both right by the bathrooms/shower house (lit up very nicely in the evening). People were respectfully quiet and we had no problems with this KOA. Would return in the future if opportunity arises. Enjoyed dinner at Culver's and strolling through downtown and walking along the Wisconsin River. Because it was the end of the camping season, it was not very crowded downtown at all and shops were closed for season or closing earlier due to it being October. Our trip was intended for camping purposes really, to just relax, but it was nice that the downtown area, shopping and restaurants were all nearby - should you want to come in the summer. FYI, if it matters to someone, there is a freight train track that runs along Stand Rock Rd, so you can hear it, but to us, we hardly noticed. Had a great stay during the weekend at one of the small cabins that had no bathroom. It wasn't an issue because the bathrooms were close, and each stall was its own room with its sink and dryer included, as well as the shower stands. There is a store that carries all the main camping essentials, including firewood and ice. There is also a laundry and game room. The small cabin we got was big enough for the 3 of us, as well as my dog. The park is close to the town center. We had no issues with the train track next door, the cabins have an A/C that would diminish the sounds of any train passing by. The only thing that would maybe bother some is that the sites were pretty close to each other.

I really loved this campground! We were at site 87. I love the trees, the patio, and the patio furniture we got with our site! The staff was very friendly, they even came around to warn everyone of possible rain/wind. The park was super clean and it was a little smaller which was nice! I know others mentioned a train I only heard it a total of three times and it was faint. I also loved the location! Super close to everything yet it was really wooded you felt like you were in the middle of no where. They also are dog friendly, everyone had their pups in leashes or in a pet fence and they all cleaned up after them. I definitely recommend this place!
