Campground Reviews

WiFi is terrible, can't connect at site which has made it incredibly inconvenient to do my work. Pool closing at 6 or 7 is also very inconvenient. Run all day with kids and they want to come back and swim. So really disappointed with those things.

Site 2 seems to be tossed in there. Wasn't a fan of walking g out into our neighbors sewer/water/elec setup, and our space being behind it. People visiting the canned area after quiet time was annoying as it set our dog off. Otherwise, had we been in a different space, we would have had a fantastic time. Thats what you get for random selection I guess

Looking to return in August this time rent a basic cabin for the kiddos plus our camper.

We were next to a cabin where the people left for the night but their two dogs were left there barking straight for hours. It hit 2 am and we finally decided to pack up our tent and leave because they would not stop barking and the people were not there to stop them. We had to drive 2 hours back home. We called the next day and we’re not even given the choice of a refund. Otherwise we would retu

Stayed early in season. Great mix of sites and mature vegatation. Would stay here again.

The best KOA stay we've ever had! Our site also had some great amenities: concrete pad, multiple heavy resin chairs and table, and a nice gas grill that was clean, ready to use and had it's own propane tank. All of these amenities seemed like new.

We were only there for 1 night but it seemed lovely. The spaces were big and clean. Nice area for dogs. Water play area for kids. There are lots of things to do in this area. We wished that we could stay longer.

The garbage pickup service / wood delivery was awesome! Beautiful showers and loved the dish washing station. Only issue we had was very loud / almost rude folks yelling at the top of their longs along campsites but luckily that was only one evening and that's lack of etiquette on others. We almost complained but finally by 10:30pm they left (must have been day visitors). All else was great!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I'm so sorry for the noise. Thanks for staying!

Great campground for sure!! Very clean both campground and shower houses. Campsites are spaced out to where they pack everyone in but allow plenty of space. Keep you very up to date by text with any campground information like store amt the pavilion or a movie or just to let you know the water is shutting off for a moment. The only thing that wasn't completely awesome was the busy train track..

It was a beautiful park. Planned to stay longer than planned but travel plans changed. They were very nice and gave me a refund on my balance. Beautiful upkeep of the grounds!

We were impressed from the beginning when we started to receive texts regarding our check-in process and much appreciated the texts during our stay with reminders on activities and anything else important going on in the park. We felt that this was a terrific customer service and a special touch for guests. Having read on TripAdvisor we were not sure about what to expect, we plan to return! Thx!

First time to this location. Not terrible but it was noisy and crowded (sites too close to each other). Overall good but not great. I realize it’s the Dells. IMO, it is WAY overpriced at $90 a night (even for a holiday). It is what it is but we’ll likely choose another campground in the area next time.

Outstanding park. Will most certainly be back.

Campground is very clean and staff was great. Customer service was outstanding but the camp itself is WAY to small and super congested. To close to the main Dells strip AND had railroad tracks so close it was so load and like freight trains running on top of us. Not a true camping experience but good if you want a cheap and close place to stay to go to the Dells strip.

Its a great stay in Wisconsin Dells KOA, properly managed during this covid time. Really safe place to go.. lots of activities for kids..

We absolutely loved the cabin and the location of it in the campground. We enjoyed our stay very much. One improvement that could be made would be a better basketball court area. There was standing water near the hoops and it seemed to be set up along a driveway so not the safest place to play. Also the office and arcade room closed at 5 which seems rather early...

For our first Camping experience this was a great choice. Now we have a further understanding of what we need to prepare for next time. However, although the place is nice. We didn't expect the spaces to be right next to each other tent group. We had a great time. But would have liked more of a wildernes experience and further distance from other groups.

Great time for the entire family. Camp was nice and clean. Something to do for all.

Good location for the Dells. Nice campground and friendly helpful staff. Site 61 has shade and privacy on 3 sides, but is not level. Make sure you have a lot of leveling blocks! My only true gripe would be that only 1 bath house is operational at this time. The bath house on the upper level is under construction. It is not enough, with as many tent sites and cabins this property offers.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have 2 bathouses in operation the other one that is being built burned down over the winter. Thanks for staying.

Although the bathrooms appeared clean, they had a strong smell as if the mop used was sour smelling. Otherwise we were happy with our site and the campground.

Made spontaneous plans to join my brother-in-law for an overnight at this KOA location in Wisc. Dells on their last weekend of the season 2021. It was a very clean facility. Our tent site was right across from my brother-in-law's RV site, which were both right by the bathrooms/shower house (lit up very nicely in the evening). People were respectfully quiet and we had no problems with this KOA. Would return in the future if opportunity arises. Enjoyed dinner at Culver's and strolling through downtown and walking along the Wisconsin River. Because it was the end of the camping season, it was not very crowded downtown at all and shops were closed for season or closing earlier due to it being October. Our trip was intended for camping purposes really, to just relax, but it was nice that the downtown area, shopping and restaurants were all nearby - should you want to come in the summer. FYI, if it matters to someone, there is a freight train track that runs along Stand Rock Rd, so you can hear it, but to us, we hardly noticed. Thanks for your hospitality, Wisconsin Dells KOA Holiday!

Had a great stay during the weekend at one of the small cabins that had no bathroom. It wasn't an issue because the bathrooms were close, and each stall was its own room with its sink and dryer included, as well as the shower stands. There is a store that carries all the main camping essentials, including firewood and ice. There is also a laundry and game room. The small cabin we got was big enough for the 3 of us, as well as my dog. The park is close to the town center. We had no issues with the train track next door, the cabins have an A/C that would diminish the sounds of any train passing by. The only thing that would maybe bother some is that the sites were pretty close to each other.

I really loved this campground! We were at site 87. I love the trees, the patio, and the patio furniture we got with our site! The staff was very friendly, they even came around to warn everyone of possible rain/wind. The park was super clean and it was a little smaller which was nice! I know others mentioned a train I only heard it a total of three times and it was faint. I also loved the location! Super close to everything yet it was really wooded you felt like you were in the middle of no where. They also are dog friendly, everyone had their pups in leashes or in a pet fence and they all cleaned up after them. I definitely recommend this place!
