Always a pleasure staying at KOA in Wisconsin Dells. We have stayed numerous times. Staff and owners are always pleasant and very helpful. They make you feel welcome.

Spacious sites. Easy check in.

Overnight only. Level, long pull-through on the upper terrace. Lots of large trees sure will help during the hot summer months. The turns seem to be somewhat narrow for large motorhomes.

This campground is a KOA Journey at best. I expect much more from a KOA Holiday. There is no privacy between sites a train was going by several times a day and as late as 11pm not more then 50 feet from the back of my camper. Given the competition in the area the KOA corporation should reconsider giving this campground the franchise for an area as popular as Wisconsin Dells.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I apologize your stay was not up to par, most of our sites are well over any requirements for KOA for spacing, I cannot do anything about the train and we have been a top awarded KOA for the past decade. I hope you give us another shot in the future Thanks for staying

Although very early in the season, we saw the potential for a great summer escape. The location, based on proximity to activities, is tough to beat. The staff was very friendly & the coupon book we received at check-in saved us both money and helped determine things we wanted to do and places to eat. We would definitely stay here again. (We have stayed in 17 KOA's in 12 months, 65 different KOAs)

Reserved to stay at 61. To narrow so asked to rent next lot up. You said wasn't available. The 3 nites there was no one in that slot. Would have been prettier view and closer to bathroom. The reservation lady and man who drove cart were very nice. Grounds needed a little cleaning up but early in year.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

It wasn't available due to a power issue running a well, we obviously would have no issue moving you into any available spot as we did when you were put in N08. Thanks for staying,

Pleasant stay for club reunion. Great service in delivering firewood. I needed a water heater plug (common part) and was a bit surprised when the store did not carry such (very small issue, and it wasn't an expectation.)

It was excellent, except that they didn't have a record of my reservation.

Didn't understand why every camper was grouped by the road. Would gave been quieter if placed back away from the road and train tracks. There were only a few campers there.

We had a great stay here and the staff was so friendly! They spoiled our dogs stopping by at least once a day to pet them too. The whole campground was clean and well maintained. We will definitely stay again when we come back to the Dells.

We were there 5 nights. When we made our reservations price was around $168.00 plus tax for stay. When we checked in we were told we could apply $50.00 from our earned points when we checked out. In checking our credit card statement today I see we were billed $191.12!!! I would like an explanation and credit.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Your stay was $55/night (we dont have rv sites for $33/night), less the $50 credit. Not sure the confusion on this, but you were charged correctly. I will reach out through email to make sure you are squared away. Sorry for any confusion and thanks for staying.

Very clean campground. Beautiful scenery surrounding camp. Only a 1/2 mile away from downtown, yet has a nice secluded feeling. Staff were all-stars. We'll be back again.

Always an awesome experience, clean and well kept campground.

We have a large motorhome and the site had plenty of room and a nice concrete slab. The campground has a fenced in dog run which is extremely important for us. The staff was friendly. The only caveat is if you are near the entrance (on the lower level of the campground) you will hear the train across the street and even though our coach is well insulated we were woken up during the night.

way to close for the money, the guy next to us was in out area working on his RV, his slide right on out patio tv didn't work there, worked every other koa but here, a bit, his sewer right next to our table and grill, need more space for that kind of money not the best time

Wonderful campground. Lots of options for staying there. If we finally let go of our motorhome, there are several cabin options. Only downside is the frequent trains just across the road all day and night long. By the second night we got acclimated to the noise. Fortunately, no sounding of horns.

Made spontaneous plans to join my brother-in-law for an overnight at this KOA location in Wisc. Dells on their last weekend of the season 2021. It was a very clean facility. Our tent site was right across from my brother-in-law's RV site, which were both right by the bathrooms/shower house (lit up very nicely in the evening). People were respectfully quiet and we had no problems with this KOA. Would return in the future if opportunity arises. Enjoyed dinner at Culver's and strolling through downtown and walking along the Wisconsin River. Because it was the end of the camping season, it was not very crowded downtown at all and shops were closed for season or closing earlier due to it being October. Our trip was intended for camping purposes really, to just relax, but it was nice that the downtown area, shopping and restaurants were all nearby - should you want to come in the summer. FYI, if it matters to someone, there is a freight train track that runs along Stand Rock Rd, so you can hear it, but to us, we hardly noticed. Thanks for your hospitality, Wisconsin Dells KOA Holiday!

Had a great stay during the weekend at one of the small cabins that had no bathroom. It wasn't an issue because the bathrooms were close, and each stall was its own room with its sink and dryer included, as well as the shower stands. There is a store that carries all the main camping essentials, including firewood and ice. There is also a laundry and game room. The small cabin we got was big enough for the 3 of us, as well as my dog. The park is close to the town center. We had no issues with the train track next door, the cabins have an A/C that would diminish the sounds of any train passing by. The only thing that would maybe bother some is that the sites were pretty close to each other.

I really loved this campground! We were at site 87. I love the trees, the patio, and the patio furniture we got with our site! The staff was very friendly, they even came around to warn everyone of possible rain/wind. The park was super clean and it was a little smaller which was nice! I know others mentioned a train I only heard it a total of three times and it was faint. I also loved the location! Super close to everything yet it was really wooded you felt like you were in the middle of no where. They also are dog friendly, everyone had their pups in leashes or in a pet fence and they all cleaned up after them. I definitely recommend this place!
