The camp ground is very clean and well managed by friendly staff! The location is great for the local attractions and amenities. The draw back is how loud the roads around are. Between drag racing into the night, the loud trucks, and the train it was not a quiet location by any stretch of the imagination. We will stay again but with earplugs and the foreknowledge of the noise.

The only problem I experienced was the train that run near the campground 5 or 6 times a day.

We have stayed there for over 20 years. Although the place still remains very well kept there was a complete lack of security. Every day the tent campers blasted their music and little was done about it. A fight ensued on Saturday night between the people in the ST James cabin and the one below. My husband was ready to call 911. These men were saying there was blood on the sheets. Drunkeness.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

This is the first we have heard of this, we have an after hours number that can be called anytime to address issues such as this, or 911 is always a viable option if there is a fight going on. Next time please let us know even the next morning so we can address any issues. I apologize for this.

Everything was great. Staff was friendly, helpful and amazing. This was our first time at this location and we will definitely be back. I read some of the reviews online that were negative and we did not experience any issues with our stay. I have already recommended this location to numerous people.

It was a short stay for us, arriving late on Friday evening after a very difficult drive, and leaving early on Sunday morning. When we arrived, the staff was very helpful. They upgraded us to a pull through site so we would not have to disconnect our car in the rain. The staff is friendly and the campsite was nice.

It rained all day Saturday, and we still had a blast. Super clean sites, friendly staff, really ready to help. Will stay longer next time.

Very clean, staff very welcoming. Only issue, close to train tracks.

There were 10 or more teenagers who were staying at cabins that used the pool as a bathtub. They came with pantlegs rolled up and scrubbed filthy black feet in pool shallow area where many toddlers were swimming. When reported to the office the woman just shrugged it off. This was so unsanitary! The same woman would not sell to you though if you did not have a mask on to protect her health.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We talked to the teens about having to shower before entering the pool, no one was using the pool as a "bathtub" as you described but rather putting their feet in the water. The mask policy is for the safety of guests, as well as staff during this pandemic, it is also required by the governor.

One of our favorite campgrounds and why we come back year after year.

First KOA campground we ever stayed at. We weren't entirely prepared for what the Wisconsin Dells experience is, but the campground was efficiently run by friendly people. They were very helpful, and the bathroom and showers were well organized.

1st time at your Koa. Enjoyed, big dog area, clean, VERY FRIENDLY STAFF, especially towards my rescues. Your staff went out of their way to greet my 3 dogs, especially Charlie. You helped immensely to bring him out of his shell. Will stay there again in our travels, Thank you. Glenna Tollon

Very impressed with the check in procedure, very smooth and fast. Grounds are kept nice and clean! Staff was friendly and helpful. The only small complaint we had was the water pressure at the dump station. Other than that we still will give it 5 stars!

Very Friendly Staff!! My site was a little narrow and needed the trees trimmer slightly. Shower stalls VERY narrow. All facilities clean and well maintained. All requests of the staff were handled in a timely and very professional manner. Im likely to return in the future.

Beautiful campground. Friendly staff. Sites are a little tight behind the main office but the staff is very helpful when backing in. Great location to all the popular Wisconsin Dells attractions. This was our second time in past 3 years and we already have reservations to return in a month!

Sites were very clean and perfectly level. Escorted to site and helped with parking. Staff was super friendly and helpful. General store delivers to site. Location was really close to everything in downtown dells. The major downside to this campground is it is super tight and small. Campers are on top of one another. If you just need a place to pull off and stay, KOA is A OK.

The check-in process was quick and friendly. A staff member guided us to our site and helped direct us backing in in the dark. Most areas were clean and well maintained-some of the bathrooms needed more than once a day cleaning.

This is hard to do because the KOA experience is so different from stay to stay. Last year we stayed here later in the season and were so impressed. The staff was great, but the lack of control for the ill mannered campers wiped that out. I truly blame the garbage people with no etiquette more than KOA, but since they allowed it we will no longer visit. Great site for the loud obnoxious drinkers

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

I fully understand your frustration. I have contacted our security vendor and voiced not only my own, but our customers displeasure at them policing the grounds to make people settle down. This is now how we operate, and we want to have a family friendly atmosphere. I will reach out to you privately

Great first family camping trip at KOA. Enjoyed our site, the warm pool and the play ground.

The first few days were great. The weekend nights seemed pretty crowded.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Labor day weekend does indeed get pretty busy around here. We're grateful for the business! Thanks for staying.

With all this Covid 19 we felt very safe at the campground. The campground was crowded but still they manage to keep campers safe. The were helpful in finding away around Chicago , even when our stabilizers did not retract. Must say if you are in Wisconsin Dells this is the only campground you should stay. The Skelley’s

Thanks for moving us to a shadier spot. We enjoyed our stay with you.

Upon check in the staff was rude. They rudely told us we were early, we were there at 12:00. They said we were lucky that the site was vacant we would have had to park down the street to wait. I booked the site over the phone I explained the size trailer we had it was recommended site #30. This site was so narrow we had to pull in our awning so the next person could pull in. no room to play games.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The camp grounds were kept clean. We enjoyed our stay there.

Wow - what an amazing experience! Check-in was quick and friendly, we were escorted to our site and then he proceeded to help us park our travel trailer in the optimal spot! The patio site was amazing, the chairs and table looked new, and were very comfortable. The train is very close by, but not a terrible nuisance. It doesn't run constantly - don't let the train scare you away!

Made spontaneous plans to join my brother-in-law for an overnight at this KOA location in Wisc. Dells on their last weekend of the season 2021. It was a very clean facility. Our tent site was right across from my brother-in-law's RV site, which were both right by the bathrooms/shower house (lit up very nicely in the evening). People were respectfully quiet and we had no problems with this KOA. Would return in the future if opportunity arises. Enjoyed dinner at Culver's and strolling through downtown and walking along the Wisconsin River. Because it was the end of the camping season, it was not very crowded downtown at all and shops were closed for season or closing earlier due to it being October. Our trip was intended for camping purposes really, to just relax, but it was nice that the downtown area, shopping and restaurants were all nearby - should you want to come in the summer. FYI, if it matters to someone, there is a freight train track that runs along Stand Rock Rd, so you can hear it, but to us, we hardly noticed. Thanks for your hospitality, Wisconsin Dells KOA Holiday!

Had a great stay during the weekend at one of the small cabins that had no bathroom. It wasn't an issue because the bathrooms were close, and each stall was its own room with its sink and dryer included, as well as the shower stands. There is a store that carries all the main camping essentials, including firewood and ice. There is also a laundry and game room. The small cabin we got was big enough for the 3 of us, as well as my dog. The park is close to the town center. We had no issues with the train track next door, the cabins have an A/C that would diminish the sounds of any train passing by. The only thing that would maybe bother some is that the sites were pretty close to each other.

I really loved this campground! We were at site 87. I love the trees, the patio, and the patio furniture we got with our site! The staff was very friendly, they even came around to warn everyone of possible rain/wind. The park was super clean and it was a little smaller which was nice! I know others mentioned a train I only heard it a total of three times and it was faint. I also loved the location! Super close to everything yet it was really wooded you felt like you were in the middle of no where. They also are dog friendly, everyone had their pups in leashes or in a pet fence and they all cleaned up after them. I definitely recommend this place!
