This was our second stay at this particular KOA. The first being 15 years ago which was really good. This time around we were very close to the tracks which can't be helped or changed, BUT I would highly recommend that site #2 be removed & NA . No campsite should ever be so close to a K9 dog park. No one wants to smell dog poop while relaxing at a fire or trying to sleep. Otherwise, all was okay.

We liked our stay but the campsites are very small and not lots of room to move around. Also, they need a pancake breakfast like they do at other KOA’s. The place was clean and the staff took care of anything you needed. We would go back but would want a different site.

Cleanest and most helpful. Helped us with air to our tires and gave us 2 extra garbage bags. Campers were friendly too. You can tell they took pride in their work!

We enjoyed our stay at KOA in Wisconsin Dells, all the staff was very friendly and Polite.. would recommend this place to everyone who likes camping.

The Management as whole was lacking experience in handling MINOR complaints about ants around the campsite. A teenager, Management's daughter was left at Front Desk, and had no Temperament for customer relations. The Managers (husband & wife) chased my wife down with there Golf Cart and berated her for making their teenage daughter cry. (She was not crying when my wife left the front office.)

Great campground. The rv sites were everything we needed and even had cable tv and wifi available. The store had quite a selection of things you might actually need. The pool and splash zone was great for kids. And there are sinks, restrooms and showers if you need them. We stayed near the entrance and a train track is close. Lots of trains come by. If you don't like trains ask for a site in back

Location is very convenient for any Wi Dells activities! Well maintained & clean, staff very friendly. Sites were VERY small. Kids were also disappointed in the splashpad which was on a 15 minute on/15 minute off cycle. Would much prefer a user button to stay on while in use.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The nature of splash pads is they do not run the entire time. It is hard on equipment and pumps and is not feasible. Thank you for staying!

Check in was kind of rough we drove all night and couldnt get to check in cause it was to early and being first time campers we had to ride around for two hrs which wasnt yo good. But it was a adventure. But other then that we had a great time the guys helped out alot. Thank you

Check in time is at 1, I apologize we couldn't accommodate sooner but as check out is 11 we have a short window of time to mow, and clean up sites for you to enjoy your stay better.

Very enjoyable the staff were friendly, the showers and bathrooms were very clean. The texting convenience for more firewood and bagged ice delivered to your campsite was awesome! The kids enjoyed the pool/ splashpad. We will definitely come again.

We were only there for a quick overnight, but the staff were incredible, the facilities were clean and accessible, and we enjoyed our stay.

The new built bathhouse was not working and the portable bathroom was not properly maintained nor stocked. The outdoor kitchen/dishwashing station did not have regulated hot water. The bathhouses that were in working order were not properly vented to allow airflow. The staff and pool area were nice and the campsites were very shaded with trees which was great in a popup camper.

Overpriced, bathrooms were closed (supposedly due to fire in winter??) why haven’t they been rebuilt?, internet sucked, no reception. sites were small for price paid.

With covid and getting contractors it's been impossibly hard getting it rebuilt. We finally have our 3rd bathhouse open. It's been difficult I'm sorry your stay was subpar and we hope you give us a try again!

Everything was nice. The only complaint is the train constantly coming by. Having a pop-up camper you I can really hear it. Would want the furthest campsite from them, next time we stay.

It was great the people were so nice I loved that a guy helped direct me into my spot, that was an awesome service. It was very clean and well kept. I will be back in the future.

My very first RV stay was at this location last year. I was glad to be back and had great time. The staffs were very friendly and made the stay more pleasant.

Nice little campground. Spots are pretty close to one another. The bathrooms nearest to our spot were closed. Kids had fun at the pool but the children’s water area is on some sort of timer so fun for a bit then a long wait for them to turn back on. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The sites are too close together. My campfire was literally 2' from my camper. I was so close to my neighbor that I could hear everything they were saying while they were in their camper.

Great KOA! Amazing staff!! All the staff went above and beyond for the customer! The bathrooms being under construction was a downside. There was always a line to use them but they were kept super clean and hopefully the new ones will be done soon. The only other downside is the train tracks but in a camper it was fine however it would be loud if trying to tent camp. Overall we loved it!

Stayed 7 nights and explored all the Dells had to offer. The campground is perfect location. The campground staff were professional and courteous. The sites are a little tight but was not an issue. Bathhouses were clean. Kids loved the pool and splash pad. Had good Att cell service. I highly recommend if you are looking for a home base to experience the Dells attractions.

Easy check in, escorted to our site. When our neighbors left a camp host was there in minutes to make sure it was ready for the next camper, cleaned out the fire ring and picked up the garbage bag. The only thing that keeps this from being a 5 star rating is the narrow roads.

I would not recommend this campground nor would I stay there again. On the positive the campground was clean and staff were very friendly. The sites around the loop in the entrance of the campground were a little tight but not a deal breaker. The cons, the trains. The sites around the loop should only be used for over night and not for people staying several nights. Trains make sleeping difficult.

Our site was next to the train tracks with 3-4 trains during the night. Could have been rated higher if we had a different site farther from the tracks.

Made spontaneous plans to join my brother-in-law for an overnight at this KOA location in Wisc. Dells on their last weekend of the season 2021. It was a very clean facility. Our tent site was right across from my brother-in-law's RV site, which were both right by the bathrooms/shower house (lit up very nicely in the evening). People were respectfully quiet and we had no problems with this KOA. Would return in the future if opportunity arises. Enjoyed dinner at Culver's and strolling through downtown and walking along the Wisconsin River. Because it was the end of the camping season, it was not very crowded downtown at all and shops were closed for season or closing earlier due to it being October. Our trip was intended for camping purposes really, to just relax, but it was nice that the downtown area, shopping and restaurants were all nearby - should you want to come in the summer. FYI, if it matters to someone, there is a freight train track that runs along Stand Rock Rd, so you can hear it, but to us, we hardly noticed. Had a great stay during the weekend at one of the small cabins that had no bathroom. It wasn't an issue because the bathrooms were close, and each stall was its own room with its sink and dryer included, as well as the shower stands. There is a store that carries all the main camping essentials, including firewood and ice. There is also a laundry and game room. The small cabin we got was big enough for the 3 of us, as well as my dog. The park is close to the town center. We had no issues with the train track next door, the cabins have an A/C that would diminish the sounds of any train passing by. The only thing that would maybe bother some is that the sites were pretty close to each other.

I really loved this campground! We were at site 87. I love the trees, the patio, and the patio furniture we got with our site! The staff was very friendly, they even came around to warn everyone of possible rain/wind. The park was super clean and it was a little smaller which was nice! I know others mentioned a train I only heard it a total of three times and it was faint. I also loved the location! Super close to everything yet it was really wooded you felt like you were in the middle of no where. They also are dog friendly, everyone had their pups in leashes or in a pet fence and they all cleaned up after them. I definitely recommend this place!
