FIRES AND FIRE WOOD:

The County Sheriff often declares Alamosa County a high fire danger area. Please check with staff before starting campfires or charcoal grills. If the Sheriff declares a Stage 1 fire ban, propane pits are permitted. Propane fire pits are available for rent in the front office.

WEATHER:

Strong winds are not uncommon in Alamosa, and the weather here can change very quickly. Be prepared for sudden gusty winds by ensuring that tents, awnings, and other items are properly secured at all times.

VISITORS:

Please have visitors check in with the front office to receive their car pass.

EV CHARGING:

The campground has two Level II charging stations at the front of the park. We also have one RV site that comes equipped with an EV charger. Check with the front office staff for more details and availability. Please do NOT plug your electric/hybrid car into the campground's regular electric pedestals. Older pedestals are not designed to handle EV charging.

LAUNDRY:

Our coin-operated laundry facility is open 24/7. Rolls of quarters are available at the front desk (cash only).

PETS:

We welcome all dogs at the Alamosa KOA, regardless of size or breed. Dogs are required to be on a leash at all times. Our K9 Park is available for off-leash fun. Please take your dog with you when visiting attractions in the San Luis Valley. They want to be with you, not us.

RV WASHING:

Guests are not allowed to wash their RVs or vehicles. No exceptions - this is a condition of our Department of Water Resources permit.

PROPANE SERVICE - ALL RIG TYPES:

Our KOA is the ONLY location in Alamosa that offers convenient RV propane filling! We also fill propane tanks at one of the lowest prices in town. These services are open daily from 8 am to 7 pm, seven days a week, during the open season. We are open until 8 pm on summer weekends.

STORE HOURS:

Our store hours vary throughout the season. In general, we are open from 8 am to 8 pm, except early or late in the season or for special functions.
