2nd time staying. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Place has gravel roads and mostly back ins, near and airport, train station and highway, hence the 4 star rating for location issues.

Very disappointed and upset. We paid for a full hookup site and were unable to use the sewer connection due to a clogged sewer that could not be fixed even though we paid to stay for 2 additional hours ($10). Had to use the dump station which was unpleasant and time consuming. No staff tried to make things right or offer us compensation.

Lot's of rules re: Internet. Many of the KOA's have improved internet. Might be time to address that. WiFi has reached the necessity of Electric and water. Not great TV reception. Again, compared to other KOA's.

I stayed at delux cabin. Too many flies in room. I killed more than 50 flies in a night. Flies coming continueously. I felt really dirty. Really dirty flies in the room.

Guest made no mention of flies. It's fall and unfortunately that's when the flies come out.

Staff friendliness was only thing that saved this KOA from a lower rating. I understand Amarillo is a dry area but the lack of any grassy areas (unless you call the scrub grass) gave this KOA look sad and under kept.

Guest was here at the end of September (Fall). The grass was beautiful until fall. Can't adjust the seasons.

Trains, planes and the smell of cows/sewer. Facilities are ok but the location is awful.

We are near a meat packing plant and very rural. Maybe guest should have done their homework. We cannot move the airport OR campground. Also, guest stayed not once, but twice.

Cabin walls were dirty and very dusty. Ceiling fan was very dusty unable to use. Windows did not lock properly. Air conditioner was dirty and the filter needed to be changed. The bathroom was clean with a nice shower.

Our Kabins are completely cleaned Everytime a guest stays. This is a campground with high winds and a lot of dirt. Maybe the cabin hadn't been used for a day. Guest did not report any issues.

The train and it's whistle woke me up ever couple of hours and the showers have no place to set your stuff and no shower door or curtain to keep ever thing from getting wet.

The campground is fine for a one-nighter, but the train noise was unbearable!!!

The campground was nice but the area of town was very run down. Probably would not stay here again.

We are not able to move the campground OR the neighborhood. Did the neighborhood affect your stay? I doubt it. How about grading the things we have control over??

Helpful and pleasant staff. Clean amenities (we appreciate the hot showers). Plenty of areas to walk our dog. Good communication before and after our stay.

Very clean and spacious, you do have train whistles because there is a crossing less than a quarter mile away. You also are next to the international airport so if you don’t want a little noise don’t camp here. Didn’t bother us.

Clean bathrooms, neat property- fairly quiet, the AWACS take off and landings stopped at darkness and didn’t resume until dawn

Part of an Airstream Club Caravan. The park has nice sites, but more trees need to be planted. High winds in the area make for dusty campers, noise from the airport, railroads, and highway is distracting.

Did an overnight stay while traveling through upper Texas. Good access to I 40, far enough away to escape the highway noise. Was concerned about airport noise, but there were no problems. Will stay again if traveling along this route.

Love this place. We stay here at least twice a year moving back and forth from Houston Texas area and Northern Colorado. Check in is a breeze. Sam did a great job helping me back in a 41 ft 5th wheel trailer. And the store has Blue Bell ice cream!!!!�σσσ� Love me some Blue Belll! Less than 3 miles off I-40.

Sits between a busy airport & helicopter factory (with military touch downs happening until 10 pm) and a busy railroad line with trains through the night. Facilities & staff were nice but hard to get a good night's sleep.

The train went by every 20 minutes or so till about midnight and every hour after that and every time it came by it blows it horn several times. Also, the staff is very unkempt and unfriendly.

Very nice KOA with very clean restrooms and shower facilities. I’d have no hesitation to stay here again. And their office/gift shop/store is awesome!

We only stayed one night, but the campground is very well maintained, the bathrooms were VERY clean, and well maintained. Has a nice playground, and there is plenty of room in the campsites. The roads are dirt, and I could see it being dusty on a windy day, but in this part of Texas, dust is just part of the deal, so I'm not faulting the KOA for that. We stay in a lot of KOA's and for a Journey, this one is definitely worth returning to.
