We Had problem with sewer lot 61. Make ckeck about that . Otherwise for night the place is Ok and airport is not noisy.Place is easy to find.

Amarillo KOA is a regular stop for us. Check-in is friendly and efficient, staff is friendly and helpful. Internet connection is good.

In all our travels this KOA is not one of our favorites. We have stayed here before just because there are not many choices. Right next to an air port with fighter jets taking off. Deafening

Have stayed at this particular KOA 3 times now, only thing lacking is an enclosed dog park. Showers are very nice, nice staff

The park is clean & fine for an overnight stop off. Located right by train tracks & an airport. So, if you like trains running all night long & high winds, this is the place for you.

Nice facility- the musician statues are a hoot! Friendly staff, good bathrooms. The proximity to a railroad yard and airport may be an issue for some, but not for us.

Had to last minute locate this KOA as the other "Good Sam's" rated park was absolutely horrible that we had reservations for. This KOA is very nice and clean and they easily accommodated us when we arrived just at closing time. Staff was friendly and helpful. Reason I'm giving a 4 star is due to the location where you have trains running through frequently and right next to the airport field.

We only stayed overnight. Easy in and out of park was very good. The young man at check in was very enjoyable. The only negatives and this isn’t KOA’s problem, but the city of Amarillo has made getting to the park a real challenge. Also $60 just to hook up and sleep is quite high. We use KOA while traveling and this is up there with the highest.

Perfect site for a few days of rest and relaxation after traveling thousands of miles. The staff were very nice and accommodating, and the grounds are well maintained. Thanks much!

The space was great even though the weather was bad - very pleasant reception with escort to space. Nice size dog exercise area. Due to inclement weather I was not able to check out any of the amenities. I do plan on staying again on my return trip home.

The hospitality was awesome. Love getting cookies when we checked in and continental breakfast in the morning. What a nice gesture.. That was the first for us as we have been traveling for a little while. Thank you

Pop machine stole my kids money. The store is not open until 10am. It is in a pretty sketchy looking part of town that is not close to much which is why I thought the price was a little steep for what you get. The sites are pretty small for the back ins. The playground is nice, and the campground looks well kept. Everything worked except the pop machine.

Friendly staff. Space was clean & in good order. Did not use laundry, bathroom, or shower facilities. Sign says *no check in before 1 p.m.*

The office is very nice as is the office staff. I cannot speak to the bathrooms or showers as we didn’t use them. However, aesthetically, this KOA is not pleasing. There is also dog poop everywhere as visitors don’t clean up after their dogs. The trains come by often and unless you have your AC blasting, you can definitely hear them at all hours of the night.

Staff was nice and accommodating. Campground was just ok. Lots of dirt to blow and smelly due to the nearby dump.

We only stayed one night, but the campground is very well maintained, the bathrooms were VERY clean, and well maintained. Has a nice playground, and there is plenty of room in the campsites. The roads are dirt, and I could see it being dusty on a windy day, but in this part of Texas, dust is just part of the deal, so I'm not faulting the KOA for that. We stay in a lot of KOA's and for a Journey, this one is definitely worth returning to.
