They charged a disabled veteran for the deluxe cabin which is what I reserved and also an RV spot since they did not have space at the cabin to park the 24 foot trailer with my household goods, very rude host and manager oh, the next day the manager said he should have kicked me out for cussing at his employee which never happened a manager is a liar oh, they were only 50% Pasadena at night

Nice and clean restrooms We were surprised to see that the little cabin that we rented did not have a little fridge like all the others we had stayed in over the past 6 months.

campground had no real amenities. Even store and room with soda/ice machine didn't open until 10:30 and closed by 6:30, so if you were planning to be out all day exploring, it was effectively useless. Loud road noise and plane noise.

We came late, but I received a text with after hours instructions so we knew what to do. The Kabin was clean and ready for our arrival. Great communication.

Checked in after office closed and checked out before office open. Received a map showing us to our cabin. Cabin was clean and convenient to restroom and showers. Map had all the passwords that were needed. Will be back next time passing through the area.

I didnt find staff particularly friendly, but maybe because I never saw them. Also, I love receiving texts from them, but they never responded to my questions and concerns. The grounds and bathrooms were very clean.

Between the local airport and railroad tracks. Not very safe neighborhood/location. Not a scenic spot. Facility and cabin were nice, clean and would recommend if the location were better/safer.

Always a great place to stay for us. Really like that both the bathrooms are open in the winter. You should consider putting small microwaves in the Kabins for heating up meals.

Arrived late, after 7pm. Key and instructions were in the pickup box, as usual. Outside temps were in the 20's, but cabin was warm and cozy. No issues or problems. Will be back.

The KOA Cabin was clean, well maintained, and in close proximity to the communal restrooms. Only issue, legs on the tv were broken, the tv had to carefully be positioned against the wall/window in order to view. Minor inconvenience but also would be an easy fix!

We arrived late, and our cabin had the lights on and heat already set. Such a cozy welcome. Bathrooms were very clean, and also heated.

Second stay and last. The room needed aired out so bad because of the cover up spray that they used. The deck to the door was in need of repair and dangerous trip hazard. Room is not being kept up well since last stay in that cabin 11 months ago.

It was fine for one night stay, but some things needed better cleaning. The luxury cabin was very cute. We stayed in several KOAs during our trip to California and back, some KOAs provide you with toiletries, I was glad I saved some soap and shampoo from other stays.

No complaints. We’ve spent one night at a cabin, which was close to the restrooms, glad of that, they were clean. If we would’ve stayed more than one night, the refrigerator would’ve been nice to have. The only downside it was close to train tracks, so it was a bit noisy at night, but we would stay there again. Nice park.

Stopped on our way west, no reservation. A cabin was ready for us. Great place to stop. I wish we could've stayed longer, but we were on a schedule to go for a wedding. When we get back that way, we'll stop there again.

Everything was great and the cabin and common areas were very clean. The only suggestion would be to keep the store open a little later and open up a little earlier. We would certainly stay here again!

Facilities mostly clean & adequate. Cabin nice, but short distance away was large dumpster that had foul odor during hot part of day. Was convenient to Rte 40 so good overall one night stop.

Nice grounds. There was only one shower in operation which did not affect us because it was a weekday but could be a big inconvenience otherwise. Our cabin had something wrong with the light and it was very dim and insufficient to see anything. Luckily we had our own lantern we could use. No one was in the office until after we were leaving and we had arranged a late arrival. Fine for 1 night

When I arrived I was assigned cabin 1. I went to the cabin & it smelled terrible. I immediately went back to the front desk, was assigned another cabin. I was incovenienced slightly, but definitely should not have happened. Have stayed here many times, & will again, assuming this issue will not recur.

It is always quiet and relaxing staying here. Staff is attentive and courteous. One suggestion: check the window frames in K-8. The window panes are loose and need a little attention. The ceiling light is so dim it is useless.

Amarillo has a fairly clean KOA. We stayed in a cabin just for the night, as we were on our way home. We had a 2-week vacation and stayed in several KOA cabins. I was met with a staff member at check-in who was neither friendly, nor rude, so I did not get the usual warm, friendly welcome that I have come to expect form KOAs. Our cabin was fairly nice, but the lighting was very dim.

Conveniently located and comfortable cabin. Clean WC & showers. Good plumbing! Lots of persnickety signs about how KOA management will fine you if you do something or don't do something. Otherwise, a wholly agreeable camping experience. RJG

We only stayed one night, but the campground is very well maintained, the bathrooms were VERY clean, and well maintained. Has a nice playground, and there is plenty of room in the campsites. The roads are dirt, and I could see it being dusty on a windy day, but in this part of Texas, dust is just part of the deal, so I'm not faulting the KOA for that. We stay in a lot of KOA's and for a Journey, this one is definitely worth returning to.
