I loved this KOA so much I stayed for an extra night! It felt very safe, the limo to the steakhouse was the best! as was the meal. Very friendly staff, would happily go to this KOA again! Calm and peaceful, no traffic

The managers were not accommodating at all. There was no hot water in the shower. Will never return to this campsite.

Guest neglects to tell you they didn't like their spot so asked the maint. staff to move them. They were told no more pull throughs. Guest never called or asked front desk. Hot water was that very second brought to our attention. Were told managers and park were absolutely awful and told blank off.

We rolled in late after driving in from Colorado. All of the info we needed was provided and we were parked and set up in no time. Friendly staff and exceptional washroom/shower facilities. Fit our needs perfectly

Loved the shuttle to dinner. Texan Steak Restaurant had great food and wonderful service. Rest rooms and campgrounds were clean too! Staff were very helpful and kind! Enjoyed our stay.

Amarillo KOA was very convenient overnight stay for us as we were traveling East on I-40. Great place for pets and rest.

Checked in after hours after a long day on the road. Check in package was in the late arrival box. Code to bathroom didn’t work. Location is unfortunately close to a railroad crossing - blare of the train whistle hourly all night long. Will push on to another town in the future.

It was quiet, clean and felt like pulling into a safe neighborhood. The after hours check in was so easy and much appreciated after a long days journey. I’m so glad that we decided to stop at the Amarillo KOA.

THE ONLY REASON I CANNOT GIVE A 5 IS, THEY NEVER RETURNED MY PHONE CALLS WHEN I NEEDED TO CHANGE A RESERVATION. ALL I GOT WAS AN ASWERING MACHINE STATING. WE ARE SHORT HANDED AND CANNOT ASWER. PLEASE LEAVE A MESSAGE AND WE WILL CALL BACK. ... AFTER MANY ATTEMPTYS, NOT 1 CALL WAS RETURNED. OTHER THAN THAT.. ITS A GREAT PLACE AND A 5 STAR

ALL of our phone calls that have messages left go to our email also. I do not show 1 let alone several calls from you. It looks like tha change was done right before close on the 11th and two emails were sent. I personally check all message about every half hour and return them.

The overall stay was nice. However, the reservation said, curbside check in was available. This did not happen. There was trash in the BBQ grill. I have earned points to help discount my stay further. I could not find a place on the website to utilize that discount. Otherwise, enjoy seeing the campground keep growing.

How would we know you wanted curbside unless you texted us or called us ahead of time. I cannot pay guys to stand outside and just wait. Your points cannot be used until check in.

The KOA was very close to Amarillo businesses. We enjoyed going to the Big Texan Steak House. We spent 2 nights there and had no issues. It was a very convenient stop-over for us on the way to Oklahoma and Missouri.

The camp spot s in vary convenient location of the interstate and clise to some Route 66 attractions. Area is hot and dusty, no shade. Overall met our needs for the reason for our travel.

Staff was great . We had a good spot at last minute but it rained and everything was mud the next day. The train noise was awful! Woke every time a train whistle blew it is convenient to freeways

Amarillo KOA was a good/safe/clean place to park overnight. Defiantly worth the money for an upgraded site.

Very nice place - Nicely decorated and super staff! We were passing through and it was a wonderful stay. Easy in and easy out. We'll stay there again for sure!!

Very well kept KOA. Nice big patio site! Great pool and it even has shade covering. Very refreshing. Enjoyed talking with the staff. Plenty of stuff in the store to keep people happy. Loved the location, and yes there are trains and planes, but They never bothered us. Guess you can’t make everyone happy. But for us, we’ll be back!! Thanks for keeping this KOA so clean.

Sites to close and need to have people with animals together could not walk around my Rv because of the fence the Rv next to us put up for there dogs

Widy and hot most of the 3 days we were there. Water main break day 2, and wifi not accessable day 2&3. Honestly not a whole lot of quality adventures in the area.

First off, we do NOT control the wind. The water main did not break. Someone hit a pipe and they had to turn off the water for an hour and a half to fix it. Would you have liked to pay the water bill otherwise? Also wifi works fine if you are close to the building. Campground wifi is free so........

Wondering if ownership changed. We've stayed here many times and while the staff was good, it wasn't the folks we are used to seeing. The bathrooms are clean but two of the three showers need new heads. I always used the one that had a good head so I didn't take any stars away.

Friendly staff, clean and very well run and maintained campground. Pet friendly with large dog walk area. I would definitely recommend to fellow travelers.

We only stayed one night, but the campground is very well maintained, the bathrooms were VERY clean, and well maintained. Has a nice playground, and there is plenty of room in the campsites. The roads are dirt, and I could see it being dusty on a windy day, but in this part of Texas, dust is just part of the deal, so I'm not faulting the KOA for that. We stay in a lot of KOA's and for a Journey, this one is definitely worth returning to.
