Friendly staff. Space was clean & in good order. Did not use laundry, bathroom, or shower facilities. Sign says *no check in before 1 p.m.*

Bathrooms and dog run were great. This KOA is not a $66.00 a night campground. Will not be back.

The office is very nice as is the office staff. I cannot speak to the bathrooms or showers as we didn’t use them. However, aesthetically, this KOA is not pleasing. There is also dog poop everywhere as visitors don’t clean up after their dogs. The trains come by often and unless you have your AC blasting, you can definitely hear them at all hours of the night.

Staff was nice and accommodating. Campground was just ok. Lots of dirt to blow and smelly due to the nearby dump.

campground had no real amenities. Even store and room with soda/ice machine didn't open until 10:30 and closed by 6:30, so if you were planning to be out all day exploring, it was effectively useless. Loud road noise and plane noise.

The KOA itself was nice and pretty quiet. Only complaint is the stench in the air for the entire area from the cattle pens outside of town. This was March, can’t imagine what it would be when it gets hot. Still it was a nice and needed stop for the night.

Good stay. Ended up being in the middle of a Blizzard. The owners did their best even though there was a long power outage. Will stay again when in the area.

Very clean facilities. If you are a light sleeper suggest you find another place. Between the cargo planes taking off at night and the trains blowing their horns all night long it's not too quiet.

We came late, but I received a text with after hours instructions so we knew what to do. The Kabin was clean and ready for our arrival. Great communication.

Easy to get to.Large sites.Nice patios.Tha employees that can't fill propane bottles are very good @ telling you to slow to five mph! That is less than idle.

This was just a quick over nighter with a late check in , very efficient check in check out all on line , easy parking for a quick set up , good job

Checked in after office closed and checked out before office open. Received a map showing us to our cabin. Cabin was clean and convenient to restroom and showers. Map had all the passwords that were needed. Will be back next time passing through the area.

Noisier campground than most with many campers coming in at all times of the night and overhead jets and planes flying by. The price for this KOA is too high for what you get as sites start over $65/night. The first stay we paid extra for a patio but it was not worth the extra $10. Dusty, dirt, turns to mud quick. No grass. Trees in the way of parking. Unlevel campsites. Bathrooms are clean.

accommodations all good. light sleepers be aware this campground is near a major rail line. train whistle at all hours of day and night. Oh, its also next to some kind of airport

Everything about the Amarillo KOA was great! - EXCEPT the continual train noise. I know you do not have control over that, but I was woken up too many times by the horns. Will not return.

We will definitely be back! The staff was excellent! The park was very clean and quiet! Play areas for kids, a pool and a nice dog park!

We had no power, we couldn't hook up to water or sewer because the temperature was below freezing. The parking spots were muddy. Basically dry camping and they charged us full price for nothing. We could have stayed in a parking lot and had better accommodations.

I didnt find staff particularly friendly, but maybe because I never saw them. Also, I love receiving texts from them, but they never responded to my questions and concerns. The grounds and bathrooms were very clean.

I was asked to leave because the campground lost power and they kept telling me et of coming back on so after 14 hours on cold weather and no power they gave me another estimated time and the lady told me to leave. I found another campground less than 2 miles away with power and went there. I’ve never been asked to leave a campground before. Crazy world

Totally open to high winds which broke our RV swing arm; discourteous staff; ugly environs. Dog poop left in the pet walk field.

We didn't use any of the facilities, so I can't comment on those. (We left early due to an incoming storm.) But check in was quick and easy and so was getting to our site. The grounds were clean and our site had plenty of room for our RV and tow vehicle. The camp was also quiet. Though we could see trains in the distance, they were far enough away not to be a nuisance at night.

Between the local airport and railroad tracks. Not very safe neighborhood/location. Not a scenic spot. Facility and cabin were nice, clean and would recommend if the location were better/safer.

Check-in was efficient and friendly. A complaint from previous visits has been corrected: WiFi signal is good and strong. The Amarillo KOA is a regular stop for us as we travel to and from the western US.

This was a nice campground, however LOUD trains all night long. We were told they would “slowdown” after 10 pm……. We got no sleep. Frustrated!

We only stayed one night, but the campground is very well maintained, the bathrooms were VERY clean, and well maintained. Has a nice playground, and there is plenty of room in the campsites. The roads are dirt, and I could see it being dusty on a windy day, but in this part of Texas, dust is just part of the deal, so I'm not faulting the KOA for that. We stay in a lot of KOA's and for a Journey, this one is definitely worth returning to.
