Stayed for an overnight as we were heading west. Staff pleasant. Escorted to site. Park appears clean but did not use restrooms or laundry. Sites are tightly packed together. Due to ? Climate in area, park has few trees or green space. Is primarily dirt and gravel. Very windy. Good for overnight only.

We really appreciated their patience with us as we had to re-schedule numerous times. The front desk staff seemed very friedly and chilled, but the maintenance staff was more rigid. Overall, however, it was a good stay.

Nice grounds. There was only one shower in operation which did not affect us because it was a weekday but could be a big inconvenience otherwise. Our cabin had something wrong with the light and it was very dim and insufficient to see anything. Luckily we had our own lantern we could use. No one was in the office until after we were leaving and we had arranged a late arrival. Fine for 1 night

Came in late as my previous campground had an electrical problem. Have stayed at many KOAS and this would be one at the bottom of my list. Cute decor at the office but the campground could use some work. Just dated and nothing to write home about.

Nice camp park. Friendly staff. Would have preferred grass in dog park. Gravel is hard on my greyhounds feet.

We are new to the RV world so this place made it easy for us. Took away all of our anxieties.

The original site they were going to put us in had a tree that was too close to one of our slides. Even though they were full, they were very nice about shuffling things around and putting us in a site that was easier to manage.

When I arrived I was assigned cabin 1. I went to the cabin & it smelled terrible. I immediately went back to the front desk, was assigned another cabin. I was incovenienced slightly, but definitely should not have happened. Have stayed here many times, & will again, assuming this issue will not recur.

Clean, no trees, dusty and windy. But convenient to highway and things we wanted too.

The park is nice and very well kept. The owners and workers were all very friendly. The only draw back for us was there's no good roads in or around the park. We like to run and bike. It's nice when you can just leave from the park to do these activities without having to drive somewhere.

Staff is very pleasant and helpful. We were not so sure about the site we were assigned, but in the end, it worked out. Thank you for a great night's rest!

It is always quiet and relaxing staying here. Staff is attentive and courteous. One suggestion: check the window frames in K-8. The window panes are loose and need a little attention. The ceiling light is so dim it is useless.

Amarillo has a fairly clean KOA. We stayed in a cabin just for the night, as we were on our way home. We had a 2-week vacation and stayed in several KOA cabins. I was met with a staff member at check-in who was neither friendly, nor rude, so I did not get the usual warm, friendly welcome that I have come to expect form KOAs. Our cabin was fairly nice, but the lighting was very dim.

Easy to get to from hwy 40. Clean facilities. Staff helped make arrangements for limo ride to and from The Big Texan Steak Ranch.

We stay here for an overnight stop on our travels. It is easy to get to off of the I40. Trains do blow their horn most of the night but I like that sound so it wasn't a issue. Second time staying will continue.

This was my favorite KOA absolutely loved it and enjoyed the playground and liked that the restrooms are right next to the tent spaces.

I was traveling, so I just spent the night, but everyone was friendly, the hookups worked fine, the laundry facilities were clean and convenient. All good!

We only stayed one night, but the campground is very well maintained, the bathrooms were VERY clean, and well maintained. Has a nice playground, and there is plenty of room in the campsites. The roads are dirt, and I could see it being dusty on a windy day, but in this part of Texas, dust is just part of the deal, so I'm not faulting the KOA for that. We stay in a lot of KOA's and for a Journey, this one is definitely worth returning to.
