Very nice place with just what we needed for an overnight. I expected it to be loud because it is close to the airport. But it wasn't. The planes don't take off over the campground and they don't take off at night. It's a bit barren like most campgrounds in the western plains.

Will give 5 stars /….10/10 but the “opposed” are a bit over we the top. Dont know what they have had to put up with that led to the postings of all the “fines” for misbehaviors but it is a bit too much…. Anyone with even minimal awareness of common decency would know to naturally abide by these guidelines without constant reminders. Otherwise. Nice place. Nice people.

We stopped through KOA Amarillo just for the night. The staff was super helpful. They have a great little store. Sites and bathrooms were clean. We will definitely be back through again! @sexysnowbirds

Very nice park. It was convenient to the highway, but far enough away so we didn't hear the road noise. Also convenient to restaurants and other amenities.

Just stayed one night. Very clean and surprisingly quiet even with the busy railroad close by. Lives up to the standards we have come to expect from KOA.

I am rating this solely on price. I could not believe the rate I was quoted on the phone and should have just passed. But, it was getting late in the day and I went for it. I really thought the park might be something special for $60. Nope...in the middle of nowhere (except for the airport) with nothing but gravel. I can't comment on anything else as I did not use any of the facilities.

Loved the long horn limo service. The site was a little overgrow around the small tree that was there. People were friendly and loved the small gift shop!

There was only one shower working in the girls facilities. Not good when we had a group of girls they needed or wanted to take a shower after a long day of traveling.

Compared to other KOAs this one is pricey and not as nice. The people there are great, helpful and friendly.

Excellent location for on and off interstate. Friendly and courteous employees. Nice gift shop and laundry exceptionally handy and clean. Highly recommend this park

Best KOA we have ever stayed at. Staff attentive. Gift store clean and inviting. Bathrooms clean and almost all showers functioning; water hot….lots of space. Did I say CLEAN? Because this place is super clean. This is our 5th Koa stay and we have not been able to give a 5 star review with a “10” for recommendations. This place earns both. Very pleased.

I still don't understand how our park is graded on where it was put 50 years ago. Shouldn't be able to dock points for things out of our control.

It was perfect for one night. Felt safe walking the grounds and a maintenance employee asked if I was a camper there. I like that! Folks looking for no frills stopover, this is it.

Our worse day ever traveling through ice storm on I40 and barely missed huge 50+ pile up. This KOA was good to finally get to and everyone was so friendly. Stayed here because they had heated water lines for full hook up. Nice facilities, especially for a winter stop with snow and low temps

We just stayed a few hours overnight. It was super cold (8) so didn’t do much outside the camper. The bathrooms were very clean and nice to use.

We only stayed one night, but the campground is very well maintained, the bathrooms were VERY clean, and well maintained. Has a nice playground, and there is plenty of room in the campsites. The roads are dirt, and I could see it being dusty on a windy day, but in this part of Texas, dust is just part of the deal, so I'm not faulting the KOA for that. We stay in a lot of KOA's and for a Journey, this one is definitely worth returning to.
