Stay was good. Very close proximity to railroad which is very active and they use their horns at all times including nights.

We pulled in at 12:35 pm. As I opened the door of our truck a man came out to announce "no check in till 1:00. (The campground was less than 10% full) The 3 employees were just chatting in the office. In the restroom was a list of $10.00 fines for early check in & late check out, mats or tires on the (dead) grass, pet poop, and a $25 fine for later check out if out of your space but still in park.

There are rules everywhere in this world. Verified guest was texted the morning of arrival with the check in procedure and times. The campground was less then 10% full because guest had just checked out and we were busy trying to make it nice for arrivals.

Dirty bathrooms were ok but not the best. Campgrounds were nothing but dirt and rocks and a lot of splinters from the buses ! Yuk

Dirty bathrooms? They are cleaned every single morning after checkout and then checked during the day. Not sure this is a review of the correct park. Stickers from what buses?

There for 4 plus days, with 40 ft. RV, reserved for full hookup, 50, pull-thru...had to back in to a 36 ft. slot. No you were not full. Not allowed to use my fully insured, golf cart. No where was this rule indicated. Noisy, but nothing you can do about that. Staff overheard making durogatory political and social remarks, non-welcoming staff to boot.

This reservation was made online and the guest chose a back in site. Did not ask for a pull through at check in. The golf cart liability is the park's rule. Sounds like you just don't like rules, if you were so unhappy you could've left after a day and gotten your $ back.

Very nice park with friendly and helpful staff. Offering the free limo to The Big Texan was a definite plus and made for a fun evening out!

Pros: Convenient to work. Good hot showers. Friendly staff. Nice proximity to AMA airplane watching! Cons: Bring your own T Paper or install a better dispenser.

Always our best place to stay between Denver and Oklahoma when we come and see our kids. Clean good location and close to The Big Texan restaurant.

High school football game next door. Announcer is so loud u can hear all the calls in your motorhome. Didnt like the spot I was assigned, requested another site, would not accommodate, said they were fully booked, not the case. Watched 2 spots stay empty the entire time I was there.

They should inform guest that trains are running all night on two sides of the park and I do mean all night just something that should be shared but the park is well kept just didn’t get much sleep

Im sorry but we cannot control where the park is located and should not be judged on it. Perhaps reading the reviews before visiting a new place might help.

One night's stay. Nice and clean facility, from what we could tell. We only stream videos but we were asked not to stream. My recommendation is to upgrade the Wi-Fi so that people could stream. If you don't stream videos then this is a fine place to stay.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Grounds and facilities are clean. Lots of noise, planes taking off from nearby airport and train whistles every 30 minutes, all night long, that got old pretty quick. Otherwise it as pretty good.

We had a nice stay staff was very nice though this one didn't have a breakfast bar or free cookies like the Grants New Mexico had.

Guided straight into branches on a tree by personnel trying to avoid water line scratching rv and getting it stuck and took three men and a chainsaw borrowing our ladder to cut branches off had to unhook tow car which is a pain and set up in dark. Very unhappy asking for refund or credit Please respond

Guest ran into tree. We tried helping but guest would not listen. Guest INSISTED we use his ladder. Our staff went over and beyond to help and were not treated nicely.

We came in late and left early the next day so didn’t really get to see too much. Facilities were very clean though and he had everything we needed. The trains running all night were unfortunately an inconvenience that did keep waking us up

We arrived late but info packet was in night registration box. Wonderful bathhouse, big showers. We would definitely stay here again.

If we had known it was gonna be airplanes and choo-choo trains going by at all hours we would not of picked that KOA

Very organized KOA, seems well run and great for a quick stop from Rt 40. Very clean.

This is a nice park with two exceptions. First is location. The park is adjacent to the airport which is home to an Air Force reserve unit. When the dual jets take off with fill afterburners it shakes the RV. Second is the WIFI - might as well not have it as it is impossible to connect to. Sites here are very level which is a plus.

Considering that check in is at 3pm, a check out time of noon would be appreciated rather than 11am. I have never been to a campground that so blatantly threatens people with a fine for late departure as you do. If this has been an issue for you, just remind people when they check in, something I don't recall ever being VERBALLY mentioned at any of my check-ins at this property.

Guest had an RV site, with a checkin at 1:00 pm. Verified that the checkin instructions were texted to him and received the morning of arrival. Maybe thats why verbally is in all caps.

We only stayed one night, but the campground is very well maintained, the bathrooms were VERY clean, and well maintained. Has a nice playground, and there is plenty of room in the campsites. The roads are dirt, and I could see it being dusty on a windy day, but in this part of Texas, dust is just part of the deal, so I'm not faulting the KOA for that. We stay in a lot of KOA's and for a Journey, this one is definitely worth returning to.
